All the teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and responsible. They give our kids so much love and attention every day -- you can tell the children genuinely adore them. In addition, the staff including Ms. Ursula, Ms. Alyssa, and Ms. Tatina are extremely responsible and do an excellent job managing and organizing everything smoothly. The classroom activities are wonderful: they learn about plant structures, animals, seasons, and so much more. Ms. Heather's enrichment classes (cooking, music, phonics, math, etc.) are a huge hit -- our boys look forward to them every time! During summer, there are so many fun events like Water Day and Petting Zoo that keep the kids excited. The hours are very flexible (7am-6pm) with very few holidays, which is a lifesaver for working parents like us. We also love the app -- it sends daily photos and videos, and we literally live on it! The outdoor area really is incredible as an urban dweller with no yard, their outdoor space is magical with a "sunken" sand boat, gardens, lots of grass and trees to play in and of course a wonderful playground. The true test was how well my son liked it and he has loved. His vocabulary has increased significantly, along with his fine motor skills. He has made so many friends and finds all his teachers "his favorite." He adores going to school, which makes me so happy since I am a single parent and have to work. The teachers plan many fun and educational activities, including singing, dancing, drawing, and other hands-on activities that help children learn and grow. They have also helped our baby build daily routines and become more independent. When our baby first started daycare, he had a hard time adjusting and often looked for comfort from the teachers by asking to be held. The teachers were always so patient and loving -- they would pick him up, comfort him, and provide the sense of security he needed while he was getting used to his new environment. They were also very understanding when he had difficulty sleeping on the toddler nap cot. Instead of forcing him to adjust right away, they first allowed him to nap in the infant classroom crib where he felt comfortable, and then gradually helped him transition to the toddler nap cot. Their patience, flexibility, and support made a huge difference. It has been wonderful to see his growth -- from struggling with daycare at the beginning to now happily walking into school every morning and coming home with a smile. We are truly grateful to have such loving teachers who care about our child's development and happiness. All in all: A+ for niceness, fun, safety, and variation. I signed her up for two weeks this year but may increase to four weeks next year. Our favorites are open gym and music class since they allow him to explore/play and teach him rhythm/different musical genres. Here are some aspects I like: -Easy parking/access: You'll always find a spot, since they have a large parking lot in the plaza with tons of spaces at any hour of the day. -Easy to communicate with instructors by text or phone or email: They're responsive & friendly. Some months I ask to decrease my visits per month, if we're busy; other months, I ask to increase, if we have more availability. It's quick to make changes with my monthly subscription. -Easy to play for an active toddler: The play area is completely padded, clean, inviting & feels safe overall. You'll still have to stay within arm's reach of your kid, of course, but if he scurries off somewhere, I like knowing things are padded and "lower stakes". I've definitely seen a transformation both physically & mentally in my son since coming here for the past five months.
