We parked here for our old San Juan tour, and it's easy to find via gps, and the exit is not on the ground floor. The place is safe, and rate is about 2 dollar per hour. Not bad at all. I'm glad we can find the parking spot close to the fork. read more

This is a convenient and affordable public parking garage if you are visiting Old San Juan for a day trip. For about 4 hours, we paid between $5 and $7. Be sure to bring cash with you as the pay stations do not accept credit cards. Pluses: First, it's on the southeast side of OSJ , which is only a few minutes walk to Plaza Colon and Castillo San Cristobal. Second, the garage location provides easy access from or to the main road. Why waste time sitting in horrible traffic when you can walk? Third, you can find an ATM (First Bank) just outside the pay station area (on Calle Recinto Sur). Minuses: The lack of signs in the garage may be confusing at first. Just remember the up-down ramps are one-way (everybody drives in a counter clock-wise direction). Tips: (1) Bring cash for the pay stations. (2) It's easier to find spots on higher floors (2A, 3, or 3A) in the morning. (3) The center stairwell is faster than using the elevator. Enjoy your time walking around OSJ! read more

We parked here several days while we were staying in Old San Juan. Prices were reasonable compared to the garage next door. Pass that one and go here. The spots are small and the ceilings are low, so beware. The garage does fill up on busy days in the evening. One night it took us over an hour to get into the garage, but it was at night during the high season (Christmas - New Year). We had no issues with safety or getting out. Sure this place seems a little run down and dirty but it's 24/7 parking for cheap. We parked there on Saturday around 1pm and left on Monday and it was $49 I believe. Not bad to have your car safe where you left it with no worries. It was super crowded when we first parked but when we left, it's was almost empty on the high floor where we parked! A multilevel parking garage close to everything you will need in downtown. The Old San Juan Trolley have a stop in front of the parking entrance. We parked the car there for over 8 hours and only paid $4. The best choice to park and enjoy Old San Juan for hours. One star less because is always dirty with garbage on the ground. read more

This is the cheapest parking if you think nearly $30 for a 24-hour parking is cheap! Sometimes, there's not really a choice so we parked here twice during our vacation. The price beats the nextdoor garage where we got charged a whopping $67 for slightly less than 24 hours. It's big, it's confusing at first and a bit smelly but they hose it down every morning. Be careful not to run over any of the workers! Rude costumer service if you pay through the cashier so choose the machine, it has better people skill! If you don't, you'll end up with a grouchy, speechless reception and a palm-up gesture before the person even tells you the total. If looks could kill... I would have dropped dead in a dirty parking garage that smells of a delightful blend of urine and garbage. I'll still give it a 3-star as it fulfills parking needs while there but I would look around for better deal if I were you. read more

VERY convenient parking for old san juan. located at the south side of the town, you almost run into it as you are driving in from outside (airport, etc). It's on a one way street, so get in the left lane and pull in and take your ticket. You do not 'display' this ticket, so take it with you because you'll pay at the kiosk near the street level when you want to go out. Paying at the kiosk is easy (cash or credit). Everything in english or spanish, but pretty self explanatory. A little confusing on which way to put in your ticket, so turn it around if it doesn't go first time. Little hint: Go DOWN levels first because ultimately this is where you go out to the street behind (south end of building) the entrance street. There were many spots that way vs the first time we drove up 3 levels before finding a place. We parked, schlepped our bags to our airbnb and were enjoying old san juan pretty quickly. It was about $25 to $35 and night (I think depended on weekend or not). read more

During my vacation in Puerto Rico, I stayed in Old San Juan and this parking facility was about a 5 minute walk from where I was staying. The facility was clean and easy to get in and out. There were a few times we had to wait on a long line to pay your fee to exit because one of the machines was broken. However, I only experienced that one day. The prices were affordable compared to NYC parking garages. They had a special if you parked your car any time after 4PM and picked it up by 6AM it was $4. The most I paid for one day was about $10 because I had left the car overnight and didn't pick it up until about 3PM the following day which still wasn't a bad price. There was another parking garage right next to this one and I went to that one first, but it was small and the cars were parked real close to each other. I am so happy I left that one and checked this one out. They have an attendant on site 24 hours. Be careful not to crumble up or damage your paid ticket because it could mess up the magnetic strip that is needed for you to exit with your car. They have several floors and the ground floor is pretty muched reserved spaces. I would use this garage in a heartbeat if I return to this area. read more

En crisis: poca iluminación , las líneas amarillas están grises , miles de manchas de chicle en el piso , pasamanos sin pintar, los escalones fragmentados , el ascensor sucio y no tiene letreros de capacidad mínima , la acera para entrar esta más sucia y el cruce de peatones sin pintar, el ambiente allí adentro es gris, todo luce SUCIO y descuidado . Métodos de pago , pésimo : efectivo sólo en las máquinas , no te cobran en tarjeta , sino llega al monto de 5 dólares , te mandan para la ATH fantasma que hay allí , que no es de un banco autorizado y confiable. No hay ATH móvil y ni siquiera con el Logo de tarjeta de crédito aceptan un pago de 5 dólares . Hoy el empleado, un joven necio. Debido a la necesidad de estacionamiento del Viejo San Juan, los administradores saben que tiene un público contenido y monopolio comercial. I should probably rate this place poorly so to encourage people to park elsewhere. But I can't do that. This lot is a great deal. We stayed at a local hotel for a week and had to park our rental vehicle here every day and evening. The price was great at $4 a day. For those who may complain that the facility generally appears dirty, well, it is not the Taj Mahal. It's a parking lot. It is totally fine. There is another parking structure next to this one, but this structure seemed to be more popular. It was always reaming with customers. It does get crowded during the weekends and during business hours, but we never had a problem obtaining a parking space. It is best to pay with cash at the ticket machines, and you must pay before you go to your car. We never had a problem. During our initial use of the lot, we arrived about 1am. We had to walk from the lot to our hotel. Although the area made us feel a bit uncomfortable given a few homeless persons wondering around, it was totaly safe. We did not get any indication of being threatened. We would use this lot again. It served us well during our stay. read more

This is where you're parking tonight. The Doña Fela parking structure in Old San Juan is dirt cheap at $1.25 for the 1st hour and 50 cents every hour after that. Also, from 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. the parking is a flat fee of $3 so it's perfect for parking if you're planning on enjoying the nightlife. It's doubtful you'll ever find a cheaper parking structure, anywhere. The reason for a 4-star rating instead of 5 is that the facilities are old, dirty and, at times, smelly. Of course, you aren't there to hang in the parking lot so it doesn't take away much. The most important things are that it's centric, safe and very cheap. That's really all you need. If you're a tourist, this is safer than parking on some random street or the very dark and secluded Puntilla municipal parking lot, which is cheaper. If unattractive facilities are bothersome for you, the parking right before Doña Fela called Paseo Portuario is nicer, albeit more expensive. read more

Used this parking garage several times throughout our week in San Juan. Each visit had issues, but the ineptitude climaxed when their exit machines were failing. In the grand wisdom of the parking experts, when the main floor exit broke, they deferred all traffic to the bottom-level gates. Would have been good if they knew those gates were definitively working.... Me and my family made the trek two extra floors down and discovered that the bottom exits were also not working. Nothing like paying for parking and having to drive on EVERY single floor of the garage. One of the parking attendants on the bottom floor, in his supreme supernova of customer service, refused to open the bottom gate and instead insisted that we drive back up two floors to the main exit and present our ticket for what hopefully be our freedom. Upon seriously considering running through their failed excuse for a parking exit gate, I envisioned a lengthy explanation to the island's finest...and resolved to continuing the driving tour of the Estacionamiento Dona Fela Parking Garage. We had a boat to catch in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, which made this particular experience excruciatingly painful. I now loathe this garage with every fiber of my being. Future trips to Old San Juan will feature multiple attempts to find alternate parking, I would suggest avoiding this time trap if you can... read more

Super cheap and convenient place to park in San Juan! Instead of wasting time driving the narrow streets looking for limited parking, just use this garage. I used it on two separate days and both times it was packed. However, I just went up to one of the top floors, where there were still ample spaces. We parked from about 3-8 PM and it only cost around $4 (I forget the exact amount). The machines are also easy to use. read more

I parked here for about 4 or so hours on a Saturday afternoon. It's located on the southern part of old San Juan. It's dirty, but what parking garage isn't? It is efficient and has good space if you don't have a massive vehicle (I have a rental economy car, so parking wasn't too bad). You may have to go up a few flights but it's conveniently parked and only cost $4.01 for those hours. Parking onstreet in OSJ seems hard enough that it's worth paying them to avoid the hassle. And I HATE paying for parking. IT's pretty challenging to find onstreet parking during tourist season, so why not outsource this sort of thing? Good location, seems reasonably safe. Pretty full which helps make it seem safer since there's lots of people coming and going. I yelled at a lady who kind of stole a space I was waiting for, in English (I don't speak spanish) but tossed in a "puta!" at the end. Other than that, pretty uneventful times at this garage. UPDATE: After a little bit more experience in Old San Juan, I would generally recommend parking here for anything in OSJ - and riding the free trolley to get around if you wish. Street parking is very hard in OSJ - I suspect that locals working in the area come and park on the street very early at the beginning of the day, and then leave at the end of the day. So parking is very, very difficult. While this lot may not be optimally located for your needs (e.g. going to both castles) - the trolley is excellent for getting around - and it's relatively cheap compared to most other options. read more

Wow, I can't believe we are parking overnight in Old Dan Juan in a safe and covered garage for $4 a day. That's right, $4 for overnight parking! Park here and you're pretty much a 5-10 min pleasant walk to anyplace here. Just beware it's cash only, pay at the machines. You can pay with a bill and you'll get change. read more

Cheap parking, bad customer service and experience. I paid with my credit card. The minimum is $8. I knew the the minimum and my balance was $8. When I went to the cashier he was hostile. Then he didn't knew how use the credit card machine. When I complained about the hostile service, he screamed on me "keep to yourself". I said, No. Then they called a third employee and finally I got my parking paid. They need to be proactive and have a better service. read more

We parked there to be able to use a card vs cash. The machines didn't take cards. When we walked up to the manned area they refused to check us out until we had reached a minimum of $8. I asked them to just charge me $8. They refused. There's an ATM/ATH machine right outside but they just decided not to tell us that so we could pay and leave. Truly disappointing. read more
