Open 24 Hours!!! Just beyond the Starbucks, Tantra, Dragonfly, Cafe Puerto Rico and more!!!

Perfect spot to park when visiting Old San Juan!!! We always rent a car when traveling to PR. Makes it easier with the carseat. Every time we journey into Old San Juan, we valiantly search for street parking, driving up and down the narrow streets that barely fit one car, yet seems to be labeled for two way traffic AND street parking, to no avail. We see the bruised looking guys "saving" spots for the right bidder but move on. I always get the feeling that isn't a good idea. Eventually, we park in a lot. We have paid all kinds of rates. We have had 24 hr lots close by the time we returned at 8pm. Walked endless blocks to reach our destination. No more! This parking garage has 7 floors of structure parking and a true 24 hr policy. You pay on the main level then drive out an automated gate. And it is right in the middle of everything! PRICING: $2.50 the first hour and $2.25 for each additional hour. (We paid $4/hr and up before this find.) LOCATION: Did I mention this location is close to EVERYTHING?!?!? If you are going to Tantra,Dragonfly, Aquavida, Starbucks- this spot is about 100m away!! So happy we found this spot.

    Castillo San Felipe del Morro

def worth a visit for the incredible ocean views, historic architecture, and beautiful grounds…read moreoverlooking Old San Juan. I enjoyed exploring the fort and taking in the scenery from the massive stone walls. Admission is reasonably priced at $10 per adult and includes access to both Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal for 24 hours, making it a great value if you plan to visit both forts. One of the things I found most interesting is how much there is to explore throughout El Morro's different levels. The iconic garitas (sentry boxes) offer some of the best views and are a symbol of PR. The main plaza gives a glimpse into daily life inside the fort, while the lighthouse continues to guide ships into the harbor today. The Santa Bárbara Battery sits right at water level, where cannons once defended San Juan Bay, and the floating staircase connects the fort's levels. I ended up buying a few hot sauces from the gift shop before leaving. My biggest recommendation is to start your day early if you want to see both castles the same day because they close a bit early. There's far more to explore than you might expect, and having access to both forts makes for a full day of adventure history, views, and plenty of walking.

Castillo San Cristóbal…read more First time I saw it was from a cruise ship cutting into San Juan and that's the way to do it. From the water, it doesn't look like a tourist stop... it looks like it's still on duty. Up close, it's a different story. This isn't just a fort it's the largest Spanish-built fortress in the New World, layered with tunnels, lookout points, and defenses built to stop invasions before they even got started. The history is wild too this place helped fend off a full British attack back in the 1700s. Walking it feels like stepping into a giant, strategic maze with ocean views. It's impressive, a little eerie, and way more intense than you'd expect just looking at it from the outside.
