A good amount of TVs showing sports too. Our waitress greeted us with a smile and immediately took our drink order--they have lots of beer on tap. The menu has a little bit of everything with prices ranging from $15 to $25 for entrees. I ordered the Memphis chicken sandwich with the hot sauce on the side, along with garden salad, and thankfully they carry Thousand Island dressing. The entree came up within 40 minutes. The Memphis chicken sandwich was prepared well with a good amount of bacon and cheddar cheese, but they used a very small piece of chicken breast. It's a good thing I got the hot sauce on the side as it was really spicy. The garden salad was a disappointment as it was a super small portion. I still felt hungry after eating the small portioned plate--Not good. Another partygoer ordered the chicken Parmesan entree but it also came with a small piece of chicken and very little vegetables, although they said it was tasty. In summary, the portions here are small for the price you pay. Not good value at all.

Great vibe. Good food. Terrible pricing…read more Before trying this new location, I dined at the old electric diner twice on George street - same thing. Immaculate vibe, but the food was always just ok, and I remembered it was always expensive. This time I got the chicken waffle. It's a sweet waffle topped with one fried chicken thigh & sweet tangy gochujang and a fried egg. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but I wouldn't say it was a big portion like what you'd get from a traditional diner place. It was 24 dollars - so over 30 dollars after tax and tips. It's kinda wild just to think about it... My partner got the Electric Benny - same thing, it was a lot pricier than other diners with the same amount of food. I think 25 dollars for 2 eggs, a slice of fried French toast and some avocado & home fries was pricy. In addition, she got drip coffee on the side which was almost like 6 dollars after tax - that's a crazy price for diner drip coffee. Her basic, mid diner breakfast meal with a moderate portion size came down to almost 35 dollars. To me that's unacceptable. The service was fine. But yeah, I hope electric diner can adjust the pricing in some way...last time I checked, people in Hamilton were not millionaires.

They have a pretty great cocktail menu with unique drinks for a diner. I got this one blue cocktail that had a piece of cotton candy on top of it, that's usually reserved for unique cocktail bars. They did a great job with its. The food was also fantastic. I took a risk and ordered the chicken and waffles and thankfully I was not disappointed. It was a substantial size of chicken and waffle. My mom got the burger and she loved it. Outdoor seating was pretty great, the street wasn't too loud for me. There is plenty of indoor dining as well. The bathrooms looked well maintained
