An honest, trustworthy mechanic is priceless and hard to find, but we found that in Dr. Automotive. I could not recommend this place enough. We have had our 2007 camry serviced here several times over the past two years, and each time are presented with an honest, reasonable, and cost effective solution to our issue. They do not try to oversell you on needless repairs like other places will certainly do, especially for an older vehicle. The turnaround time is also very reasonable and usually pretty quick, depending on the needed repair. Hopefully we will not need any repairs any time soon, but if we do, we'll definitely be taking our car here! read more

DR. AUTOMOTIVE had my car two days never got to even look at. They never called to keep me updated or to tell me they couldn't look at it. Yet they don't take appointments. I called 4 times to find out if they got to look at it. Today I even called back before they closed today asked them to please leave keys in floor board because I only had one key, please Do Not lock it! What they do they locked it! SO, I had to get a ride there then ask them to run me all way back across town home to get fob to open car. I didn't have on me ONLY to find out that They DIDN'T even leave the keys in the car at all!!!! THIS HAS BEEN A waste of time. So disapointed. They need to be considerate of customers time. They need to make appointments And communicate better. read more

The guys at Dr. Automotive are awesome! Their repair shop is not much to look at, but they are very honest and care about their customers. They fixed my transmission and it took longer than they expected due to some things outside their control (i.e. waiting on parts to come in, etc.). Because of that they absorbed the cost of my $250 deductible and I did not pay a dime. My car is working great! Did a great job with our AC issue that others had made attempts to fix and always quoted more for the repair.

After leaving my pickup there for 4 days to get a diagnosis and estimate for a couple of issues, I was called and told they looked at the clutch and did not know why it was releasing slowly. I asked what they could tell me about the engine miss and Service Engine code. Danny replied they had not even looked at that. For the "privilege" of waiting a week and still not finding out what was wrong with my truck, I was charged over $48.00 as an estimate. I am very disappointed with the (lack of) service I received and the cost for not receiving it. RECOMMENDATION: Look elsewhere for auto repair and service. read more

I had a horrible experience here! I called this place because my radiator had a leak in it. Once my car was brought in (by a tow service they supposedly worked "closely" with), I got a call saying I needed a new radiator and it would cost a little over $500. I agreed to the service and was told my car would be ready for pickup the next day. When I went to pick my car up, the owner pulled my car from the back and smoke was everywhere!!!!!! Also my car cut off as soon as he pulled it to the front of the building!! When he tried to turn it back on, it kept turning over and over and over again. I asked the owner why my car was smoking and he said it would eventually go away. I was about to ask him about the car turning off, but he hopped into his truck and drove off! I tried to drive the car, but there was so much smoke the person trailing me could not even see! I turned around to take the car back and it cut off before I even got down the street!!! When I asked the owner what could be done, he told me it was not their fault and I would have to get it looked at for additional costs of course! My car is still parked on the side of the road! I must now get it scrapped for parts!! I gave these people $522 just to ruin my only source of transportation! read more
