Terry's ruined my beautiful Ford F-150. Took my truck in to find out why my "check engine" light was on. They kept my truck three days and replaced almost $2000 worth of parts, but were unsuccessful at getting the "check engine" light to go off. Since I need my truck every day, it was months later before I could take my truck back in to Terry's for them to keep another three days. This time they replaced another $1500 worth of parts, and the "check engine" light came back on the very next morning. Some time later I took my truck to the Ford dealer and they told me the engine was ruined and now I need a whole new engine! For $15,000. Not a typo! If Terry's had identified the problem in the beginning, this wouldn't have happened. Without transportation now, Terry's has ruined my life. read more

Excellent, thorough, friendly and quick, but not the cheapest repair place. But you get what you pay for. We had them do a thorough inspection of our secondary car, which we rarely drive. They found some issues, none critical, and supplied us a detailed explanation with photos of each thing and the price to fix it. Decided to just get the oil changed for now. There was no hard sell to do more, which is common especially with dealer service centers. We'll continue to use them in the future, happily. read more

There was a bit of a communication error in terms of what exactly was being fixed on the car, but in the end they did what was best for my car. I had driven my car for over a decade, so a lot of work needed to be done, but they were honest in telling me what was worth fixing immediately. Others have mentioned that it's not the cheapest, but getting quality and trustworthy work done is sometimes hard to find at a cheap price, so it's worth paying for the quality work they put in. I'm giving a 3 because Terry's gave me a quote and I approved it so it's not as if they were dishonest. However, once you have a car in a shop and need to get back asap it's not easy to tow it somewhere else and start the process over. I thought the quote seemed extremely high but was in a bind so just bit the bullet and paid it. 5 months later I had the exact same issue again (not Terry's fault issue came back). This time I tried another reputable shop in the same neighborhood and was shocked by the price difference. Terry's charged 430% for the exact same procedure. If they can keep up those prices more power to them but I would strongly advise you to get a second quote. read more

I have a 2007 Nissan Murano with 156,000 miles on it. Terry's has been servicing the Murano for many years and is the key reason I have not traded it or sold it. Yes, there have been service issues that go far beyond old changes, alignments and batteries. Terry's staff have done a great job repairing gaskets, drive shafts, struts and converters just to name a few. They help by checking potential issues which is great. If you want a quality mechanic and don't care about paying a high markup, then this is the place for you. But just know that when I say high I mean really high. I was quoted $1200 for an APP sensor installation when the OEM part is available online for $130 and the repair takes 15 minutes. I understand backing parts with warranties, quality parts, and maintaining an overhead to pay your staff, but a 900%+ markup is an indefensible amount and I felt disrespected by it. I did the repair myself in 15 minutes with a wrench and over a year later it's working fine. The experience was eye opening for me personally on a larger scale. My recommendation to the business would be to work on pricing your quotes a little more strategically. read more

Truck broke back down on way home from shop after 10 day wait. Dissatisfied with no further discount because of 2nd tow truck and multiple other Ubers. Find it hard to believe that original job wasn't under warranty. I've never heard of squirrels eating through gasoline lines but must be nice to be able to make up some bs to stick it to the working class. They least they could have done was apologized but apparently that was too much work too. read more
