Some doctors office seem more like "clinics" than actual doctor offices, that's the case here. Run down facility that was originally built and used as as a house. Employees were generally ok but getting real medical attention from either of the Doctors was more than a challenge. It's important to be your own advocate for care but equally important to know when the medical office isn't providing the care you need & to look elsewhere, which is what I did. read more

I can't even begin with this Dr experience. I switched drs because I feel like her nurses are worked to the bone and do everything. I had her as a Dr for 5 years and never once did I meet her. Not a fan def recommend somewhere else. Her staff however is super friendly and helpful. read more

I called with a simple question/request to see if I could be prescribed antibiotics and was told to go to the ER to be evaluated, in a condescending tone. so I should spend thousands of dollars for something incredibly simple, and also be talked down to? Everyone in this office is super helpful. Sophia the nurse practitioner is amazing. I have been seeing her since last year. Every time she orders blood test they call me with the results within a few days. They are very fast with referrals to specialist. I am very happy with their service. read more

I don't usually like to leave bad reviews but this "doctor" has no insight as to how to talk to patients or how to maintain professionalism. My mother had gone in for a check-up and to address a certain issue. Keep in mind, when you go to the doctor with an issue, it's hard enough as it is to address, much less to hear a verdict. This "doctor" didn't let my mom even finish explaining the problem and immediately told her she had 'very bad cancer.' How? How could you even say those words without running appropriate tests, without actually making an effort to see what you could do for this woman who had to muster every bit of strength to make it to your office, only to hear you utter those conniving words? Oh, and by the way, we got a second opinion, and this idiot doctor couldn't have been more wrong! So please, spare yourself the mini heart attack and the trouble of driving here, and go see a REAL doctor, preferably one who knows how to actually speak to patients and takes the time to actually assess the situation at hand. read more

I have my three daughters coming to this office. I love Dr Kamdar but her receptionist Alicia is so rude! Every time I or my daughters call to schedule an appointment her attitude is the worst! I just called to ask her if she can stop being so rude and all she did was rush me thru the conversation. I'm waiting for the office manager to call me back. I love Nurse Sophia! She's always been there for me whenever I need to see her. The length to get an appt. takes about two weeks or a week and i half. They do accept walk-in but expect to wait a little while. My appt. took about an hour for the whole process, entering and leaving. read more

Hmm..So I made an appointment to see Dr. Bina A Kimdar regarding a physical and I guess I got a Physician Assistant instead. No offense to the Physician assistant, she was really nice but if I knew that I was going to get a PA instead of a MD, I would have gone somewhere else. I don't know if it's my insurance that she didn't want to see me or my symptoms, but I was disappointed that my co-pay was to see a P.A. Supposedly the PA said that Bina does only emergency patients. Never heard that before. I forgot that the title says Internal Medicine, Not EMERGENCY Patients only. read more

Going back to my previous doctor. This place is scary - awkward entrance, and the side of the building looked abandoned with a bunch of trash behind rusty metal bars. The front desk folks were nice enough, but I ended up waiting one full hour only to meet with the nurse practitioner for less than 5 minutes. Disappointed. Dr. Kamdar is an excellent doctor. After a Brain aneurysm was discovered, she arranged with USC Keck hospital all the tests & procedures to prepare me for my operation. She and her assistant Dr. Sophia, are always concern of my situation and keep me in good health since after my operation. I am always grateful and for their attention during my visits. I have never been allowed to see the Doctor at this office only the P.A. I am told every time I have gone there that the Doctor is out of the country every single time . I cant get the P.A. to find out why I am in so much pain , the only tests she has ever send me for is blood work up thats it . She was giving me one pain pill a day which if I wanted to get any sleep I had to go through the whole day in pain so I could save the one pain pill to take before I could even try to sleep in this kind of pain . I was hit by a car and have been in severe pain since then but since I am not allowed to see the real doctor there the P.A. treats me rudely and acts as if I am a drug addict . All I have ever wanted is to find out what is causing this bad of pain and to correct whatever it is until then I would have liked to have a t least 4 pain pills a day so I can function better and not be left in this severe pain all day and night long . Also when I call to make a appointment most of the time as soon as they here my name they say they have no openings even a month later . I have slipped in a few times becasue they didnt ask my name first or the person answering the phone there did not know my name so that is the only way I have been able to just see this P.A. there and she then is so rude she asks me how I got a appointment . Last time I was there she refused to refill my one pain pill a day and she did not care that I am in pain at all . I wonder if there really is a doctor there at all or if this P.A. is running a business under a Doctors name . It is very fishy to me and this place is where my insurance says I have to go to . I made a complaint to them about this and since then I recieved a letter saying the Doctor who I have never seen wants me to go to a pain management Doctor but the phone number to call and make a appointment for them does not work . I believe with all my heart that there is something very fishy going on at this place and will be making a complaint to the medical board and hope someone there will investigate this invisible Doctor and the mean , rude uncaring nasty P.A. read more
