I brought my elderly mother here (late 80s) to get checked out on a Sunday afternoon for a cough and low-grade fever. We were seen pretty quickly even without an appointment. The front-end staff was friendly. The intake technician didn't take my mother's blood pressure in the proper way, so the reading was inaccurate. But since that wasn't connected to the reason we were there, I let it go. My mother was seen by a NP named Shanté. She was pretty standoffish toward my mother, but I figured it was due to being concerned about germs. When we said that we didn't want to get my mother's nose swabbed, Shanté completely shut down productive conversation about treatment and options. She had a real attitude about it and started talking in technical jargon that was way over my mother's head. If I hadn't been there, my mother would have been completely overwhelmed. I tried to ask some follow up questions, but she didn't really offer much helpful information. In the end, she just told us to go to the ER if symptoms changed, but she didn't tell us which symptoms we should be looking out for. Shanté needs to be written up by her supervisor and have some training about how to interact with the public, especially the elderly. In the meantime, she needs to be monitored while seeing patients. read more

After enduring painful tonsillitis symptoms for a week I decided to try urgent care. Their diagnosis was right side Peritonsillar abscess. They advise me they were not capable of resolving this condition but I might try Foothill Presbyterian just down the street. At 10:30 am I wondered into Foothill Pres's emergency entrance with a copy of Urgent Care's diagnosis. I was seen quick enough, an IV port was installed, several test were initiated and the Doctor ordered a CT Scan. They advise me it was prudent to avoid an invasive procedure to drain the abscess until the CT scan revealed the presence of one. A couple of more test and hours later the CT scan results were read. Conclusion, no abscess, nothing remarkable to report. I finally left the hospital at 5:00 pm with a prescription for amoxicillin with the diagnosis they were treating the symptoms "as if" I had an infection. Five and one half hours in an emergency room based on an completely erroneous diagnosis by Urgent Care. Be cautious folks. read more

This is my go-to urgent care. You can reserve ahead of time, and the wait times are accurate. It's clean, and most of the staff is friendly. I come here often, but Eladio Tizón is probably my least favorite provider. He can be dry and doesn't seem interested in hearing concerns, often saying to follow up with a primary doctor since they're "just urgent care." The male nurse assistant is kind, but the female staff member has been rude and short. During one visit, I could hear her talking about me through the door when I asked for a swab, which felt unprofessional. That said, everyone else has been amazing and very helpful. read more

Probably the nicest/cleanest urgent care I've ever visited. Everyone working was friendly. Got my ear canals irrigated and they managed to not even get any water on my work uniform haha. My wife and I came to this urgent care a few time. It was close and in network. First time for me was fine, Dr saw me and gave me a perception that helped. My wife had an awful experience with a Dr that didn't even tell her anything and just sent labs for everything and prescribed her meds that the pharmacist had to explain were for breathing problems when my wife never mentioned anything about having problems breathing. Definitely a hit or miss on Dr care and professionalism. My real problem comes down to the billing. They are in network for us and we pay our co pay. But every time they send as many bills as possible for the insurance claims, over billing like crazy. When the insurance ace catches on, they send us the bill even after insurance paid the original amount. Seems to be running some scheme to steal money by over billing and trying to swindle the insurance. I get it might be common to do that with insurance but sending bills to patience after insurance with adjusted prices is wild. Definitely looking for a better urgent care. read more

I'm a medicare patient with PPO supplement. Because of an unusually shaped ear canal, I am unable to clean the earwax from my ears by myself. Two other urgent cares quoted me $25 per ear and $40 per ear. Integrative accepted my two insurances as payment in full. There was a long wait, but the front desk staff and both caregivers were kind and thorough and did not talk down to me, which I very much appreciated. Too often, my small stature and white hair seem to indicate to OTHER caregivers that I must be senile and need to be spoken to as one would speak to a young child, which feels disrespectful to me. Because of that common experience, I am especially pleased when caregivers and their staff members speak to me in the same manner that they would speak to other competent adults. read more

I shared w the doctor I had previously had a cold, finished the meds and got sick again in which I was visiting the urgent care. He didn't run any Covid or flu test. He said I had a bad sinus infection, gave me stuff for that. Since I trusted it was a sinus infection I went to visit family after 3 days of medication and my whole family got sick! My mom is diabetic and on dialysis so I feel horrible. I'm currently on the right meds as I was seen by another urgent care doctor. I had a virus not allergies. I feel like I deserve a refund for my $30 copay ;( but they have poor customer service. read more

It's nice that they can accommodate you within a reasonable time AND have an xray machine, which is why I came here. But it's not helpful if they can't actually give you the images! They can only do CDs, can't send images anywhere. Seems odd, but ok. But the CD did not work. I took the CD to the orthopedic doctor and the CD did not work. read more

I went in because my insurance card said its within the network, but they did not take my insurance, so it was really confusing how they would not take Aetna HMO... but they take ppo, and if you're in contract with complementing offices, then they will take Hmo? Unfortunately, the first front desk nurse was nice and let me know what I needed to do and that I can fill the paperwork out in office then the second front dest nurse seemed burdened by my asking for paperwork to fill out, and with any question I had. Mind you, I worked in the medical field and understand that dealing with sick people daily can add weight, but when you interact with one set of patients, chipper then you turn to me irritated and bothered that's very well as my mom who was a nurse for 30+ years unprofessional. I'm kinda glad you can't take my insurance now because maybe I'll find an office that does not mind helping patients. The nurse and doctor here is very knowledgeable and kind. I have a blue cross EPO plan offered by my employer and most of the time people are confuse about this in network plan and told me it is not being accepted. I have a bad bladder pain due to UTI and I am glad that I found this urgent care. They are very knowledgeable about my plan and also the wait time is very reasonable (about 15-20 mins including registration). The doctor even called me to follow up with me (that not even happens to my family doctor who is always fully booked and I can't really see him until another month!) I will recommend this to people who need help urgently. (Of course make sure your plan covered ) There is a CVS next to the clinic for the convenience too! Which is a plus. read more

So disappointed. My family has been coming to this urgent care clinic for years and have nothing but good things to say. Dr Brown and all the other doctors we have seen here are amazing. UNTIL today. Went in with my son and right from the moment we walked in the front door the receptionist was very short and slightly rude not only to us but other patients coming in. Once in the back when the doctor came in forgive me she did not give her name so I can't say which doctors she was she is tall African American woman with a very bad attitude and poor poor bedside manner. She he. Leaving my son went to check out and receptionist didn't even want to look up at us. My son was trying to ask if he owed any money. She while looking down said very fast and rude we bill insurance. We received no paper work of our visit this time. Very bad experience here today. We will not be going here anymore and it's sad because this place used to be the best now it's a joke read more

Poor Business Practice Took my 5yr old daughter in for what I figured was an ear infection (aka quick check, in and out). We've been to this urgent care in the past and drive in from a couple cities over because wait times are usually not very long. Their website said they closed at 8pm. We walked thru the doors at 7:15 and was turned away rather rudely by the front desk girl. I said I thought the website said they were open until 8pm and that's what the door said. She proceed to tell me that the doctor was actually discharging the last patient and wasn't seeing anyone else. Meanwhile my little one was standing there holding her ear sobbing. I find it rather off putting that they would turn away a patient when their website and door said they were open for another 45 minutes. If you're going to close whenever you want, you should state so on your website. We will never go there again and will tell all our friends and family of this horrible experience. read more

I first came here for my kids sports physical on a Sunday! The doctor is great with kids! Second and MOST importantly, I had run out of options. Primary care, Urgent care, emergency room all on 6 days and I had gotten NO WHERE. This office and its ENTIRE staff was exceptional. Bonuses that I noticed: kid-friendly with kid movies. Came here because my ear felt full, blocked and a lot of pressure. I walked in and I was seen fairly fast by I am not sure if he was a dr or nurse practitioner (Asian male in his 50s). I told him my symptoms, he examined both of my ears and my throat (less than 30 secs). He immediately said I have sinus infection which was a little weird to me because I didn't feel congested at all other than a plugged ear. My face was not hurting. He prescribed me antibiotics and nasal spray and sent me home. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he is a medical professional and I took the meds as instructed. 5 days later I finished my antibiotics, my ear condition has not improved at all. It was still blocked, ringing and I was experiencing vertigo. I tried to get an appointment with an ENT specialist but it would be a month later so I decided to see a general practitioner. The Dr examined my ear and saw a huge piece of ear wax very deep in my canal ear. The Dr immediately flushed it out and the pressure and blockage immediately went away. The Dr or NP at this urgent care was negligent in the examination process. I completely understand if my condition was complicated, but it was just a big piece of ear wax stuck in my ear canal. This should've been EASILY discovered when he examined my ear. Unfortunately, he was careless and I suffered another unnecessary week of ear blockage. Do not come here! If you do, make sure you see someone else and not this guy. read more

DANGEROUS. *NOTE: I did not see Dr. Brown, there was another clinician on staff who saw me instead.* I did see the Male practitioner that was referred to in Su J's post and the guy is an absolute QUACK. He also told me that I had a sinus infection - of which I have had countless in my life. This is NOT a sinus infection - no sinus pain, I told him I had fever, chills, body aches, cough - classic presentation of a viral infection. Perhaps Covid, potentially the flu. I reiterated the list of medications which I take on a regular basis and was prescribed multiple CONTRAINDICATED medications which could have serious ramifications, including serotonin syndrome. Additionally, I do not see any other staff physicians listed on the site, my script came from Dr. Brown who I did not once interact with - the individual who saw me did not introduce himself as a nurse, nurse practitioner, or a doctor and his analysis of my sickness made absolutely no sense. If he was a nurse practitioner, his name should have been listed as the prescriber on my medication, which is altogether quite alarming and indicates to me that this individual has no business seeing patients, diagnosing them, or prescribing medications to them. GROSS NEGLIGENCE. Nothing bad happened to me, but only because I as a patient cross-referenced my own medications - the clinician I saw should be striped of his license, IF he even has any. read more

When this place first opened it was my preferred urgent care. Dr Brown was always very thorough and listened to concerns. Over the years I noticed we see him less and less. I went in recently and saw Eladio Tizón and that guy has no bedside manner. He comes in and rushes through examinations. I tried to tell him multiple times what was wrong and he kept cutting me off and listened to none of it. He was more concerned with prescribing me a bunch of meds I didn't need. I definitely don't recommend this place for serious issues beyond a cold. On my way out I asked him how to manage my pain and he literally shrugged and said I don't know, stay away from stress ‍...unacceptable! read more

I made a mistake of going to this urgent care. Being covid positive and I feel need a follow up checkup due to increase tightness with my breathing. They imply that I should have gone to ER and since I was not diagnose there I should go to another urgent care. They even lied that they don't have any imaging. My wife called and imaging was confirmed. I don't get why they have to push to go Optum instead. Another thing is that the nurse will not wear his mask even when I told him I'm covid positive. read more

I certainly will never go back to Integrative Urgent Care as long as that NP who saw us is there. I've never met anybody in his position that behaved the way he did to us. I took my 81 y/o mother, who is visiting from Japan on her vacation, to this place because she complained of dizziness and nausea. They took a urine sample and the NP came in a few minutes later and told us it is "Urine Infection" and that she needs to go on antibiotics. He didn't do much examination on her, just a quick listen with his stethoscope and tapping on her kidney area("Any pain in this area?" "No"). He didn't even call it UTI, he just said "urinary infection". How am I supposed to know they're the same thing? It seemed to me like the diagnosis came without much examination because she's not showing any symptoms of UTI. But what do I know. I asked him if she will be okay to travel in a week to see her friend in Atlanta and the NP started off by asking me if I know what 'dizziness' means. I was taken aback by this question but answered him earnestly thinking it must be a language thing(the NP speaks with an accent). Then he asks me, in a more condescending way, if I know why dizziness can be dangerous. Really? At this point, I'm getting offended because I realized his tone and speech were intentional, not a 'language thing', and totally out of the blue and uncalled for. It is just too much to bear because he knows we're there seeking help. I had to explain to him that this might be my mom's last visit to the U.S. and I want her to do as much as she wants while here and he responded in the same patronizing mannerism. He never gave me a straight answer as to why it would be dangerous for her to travel. Just the "dizziness can be dangerous" BS answer. What a quack. $165 for him to write up the prescription and out the door we went. read more

I went there today for my back pain after reading the review here. I usually very careful on reading yelpers' review since I knew some might not be true. But, in this case, I can confirm that the Filipino doctor with the Kaiser scub (thank you for you who point this out) is everything that you'll read here in the other reviews. I didn't even remember which urgent care review at the time I saw that doctor, and checked it on yelp again after I was home. Yup.. the same urgent care and same doctor with same attitude. I was worried that a heart related issue could be the cause to my left back pain, and his answer was very rude and not helping at all. He told me to see my main doctor (if I can on Saturday without appointment, I would have done it) or go to ER (I didn't want to have to wait too long to be seen by doctor for non life threatening issue). So go here with caution. the place itself is clean and nice. too bad.. they should have hired someone who love what they're doing and not someone who seems like hates everything about his job, including his patients. read more

If I can give less than one star but the system won't let me. So today I schedule an appointment on line and I filled out an application and they accepted and confirmed my appointment. I went on time and the receptionist asked my for my insurance card and when she see it, she said oh we don't accept your insurance, so I told her how come the system accepted, she said I am sorry there is anther urgent care about a mile away will accept your insurance.
