Came here because I live pretty close by and Ive neglected going to the dentist. I first met Luisa in reception who had been so friendly and helpful the entire time I was there. My Dr was Dr. P. He was great - informative, and comforting. Id found out I needed all of my wisdom teeth pulled amongst other things he needed to help me with. As we all probably understand, having someone poke around your mouth isnt fun, and its super nerve-wracking, but through the entire process he assured me he was going to make me comfortable and stop when I asked him to. Now, I just came into my six month check up with no worries, and I was able to ask questions without feeling embarrassed. Because of how comfortable I was with him, my six year old daughter is now his patient, and my boyfriend will be seeing him in two weeks! Thanks Dr. P! read more

After switching to this office from their other one up the street on meridian street for bad service I am now looking for a new dentist because these office wasn't any better, There's lack of communication, long waits even after arriving early, staff was kinda rude and again had the feeling that they only care about what procedures they can tag on the insurance even if they're not necessary. My kid doesn't need fillings on teeth that will fall out on their own soon and the permanent ones are right behind. read more

Front desk lady is very rude, tried changing dentist because I didn't liked the way the dentist did its job, he was too rough when I even told him to stop, so I called to reschedule my appointment and change dentist and she was rude saying she couldn't do it and I need it another exam when I just got it done. So frustrating when scheduling and bad treatment as well. read more

The reason why I'm giving this place one start is because I drove all the way from Lynn to the clinic on a Friday afternoon to be on time to my appointment just to know they cancel it saying I didn't confirm, which I did over text message no voicemail left to let me know about this. I was very happy coming all the way from Lynn to maverick because I always like the service I received but this time it change my mind completely and I'm gonna change clinic because, if I made an appointment I make sure it's the right time for me to go so don't miss it because I understand time is valuable for everyone. If I were you I would get a second opinion for anything recommended by the dentist we have had now multiple examples of the dentist recommending a procedure and then getting told by a specialist that the procedure that was recommended was not necessary both procedures that were recommended to our family regarded removal of molars even though in this instance my son has an orthodontist that has never recommended removing the molars as there was no benefit to doing so in my case I'm in my forties and have no dental problems or history of dental problems but this dentist recommended to have all four of my molars removed even though they were perfectly aligned with no crowding and no cavities I unfortunately allowed him to remove two of my molars because he said that there was significant decay when the teeth were removed from my head there was no evidence of decay the teeth looked beautiful on the tray I was dumbfounded and asked if I could keep the teeth and was told I could not because they were Biohazard I do not believe they are on the up-and-up however recommending that my 18 year old son who just had his braces removed last year and is still seen by the orthodontist have his molars removed seems like it was purely out of greed and not necessity. Highly displeased to the point this may require further looking into. read more

Went in today for a 1:00pm appointment to get a filling done. Got there at 12:45pm and waited there until I finally got called in to one of the rooms. The dentist finally came over to see me a few minutes before 2:00pm. The doctor push me to get a crown and I just wanted a filling. After negotiating the doctor finally agreed to do the filling. Next thing I know the manager came over to tell me if they could reschedule me for another day, the reason she said is because it was 2pm and the next client was there and it was not fair to have them wait. I said no I wanted to be serviced because I had been waiting since 12:45p and they said they couldn't do it today and I would have to reschedule. I said that was not fair to me and I had to leave without getting serviced. This dentist office is not very professional and the dentist there takes a long time to do the work needed. I have been there 2 times this year and both times I had to wait a long time. I don't recommend this office. read more

At some points in time my hygienist hurt me when they were giving me a cleaning, but they had mentioned that they were newer and still learning, so just be aware of that. The young man was nice, but also would keep asking me questions and talking to me when I had devices in my teeth.... Bit above all, and why I would discourage anyone from visiting this Dr. Dental unless you have to, is the WAIT TIMES. I've been to this location for years now and have been there at least ten different times, and the shortest I have ever had to wait despite trying different times of arrival (half an hour early, 15 early, at the exact time of the appointment) is 45 minutes. Every single time I've been there I've waited nearly an hour or two past my appointment time. It would be different if this was a one off event, but every single time indicates to me poor schedule and patient appointment management. Stick with the appointment they give you too, because calling them and hoping to they'll pick up is nearly impossible. Summary: Wait times for 1-2 hours past appointment times, scheduling is an absolute night mare. Really indicative to me that the practice is poorly run, which is a shame because some of the people there are so nice. read more

I'm only rating this place a 3 because the front desk staff are amazing. I've been going to this office for years. This year I got a dentist (female) I don't remember her name but she basically told me I couldn't go back to that office because of my cancellation wasn't "legitimate" one things for sure if you're canceling an appointment it is definitely for a reason who are they to tell you it isn't? Also that same dentist rushed through every exam and doesn't listen to any concerns. She also couldn't tell the difference between a broken tooth or a tooth that needs a root canal. Her answer to everything is "root canal" or "crown" not once did she check properly to see if any of my teeth had cavities. She's not very good with interacting with people. She needs to work on her customer service skills. If the rest of the staff was as polite and courteous as the front desk staff this place would be phenomenal but the dentist are far from polite or courteous. Most likely I'm probably the only one who have experienced this with her, I'm sure there's definitely a biases going on here but this is only proof that I need to stick to dental offices where a lot of Black Americans attend. At least I'll be sure to be respected there. So any Black Americans please stay clear of this place. read more

I am giving this dentist a 1 star rating- they are overbooked, rush and cannot be the least bit flexible in terms of even 10 minutes late... had to reschedule 4 times... obviously they packed as many people in as possible- lucrative business for sure- wouldn't put my mouth near them as all they care about is money and they will drill all your teeth out when they don't need it. Any of the accurate reviews on here the owner responds to "haven't found you in our system" to make it look like bunk review... 10/10 would NOT recommend read more

Worst dentist ever! Got a filling and my tooth hurts like hell after two weeks. I went back for a cleaning and she claims that I don't floss enough this is why my tooth hurts and that I need a crown. Okay so if I needed a crown why did you give me a filling instead then? Money hungry dentist and insensitive. They don't have to worry about me ever coming back because I won't. If you need some dental work keep your money in your pocket and save up for a real dentist that will cater to your needs as a real dentist should. read more

highly recommend getting a second opinion if you go to to Dr. dental. went in for a cleaning and was told i needed 4 fillings the total was 1400 for four feelings. went to a different dentist with the treatment plan given to me at Dr. dental they told me the total with them would be $700 for those 4 fillings. scheduled an appt in which they took new xrays and was told i didn't need anything as i did not have any cavities. if i would have gone here i would have lost 1400 and my teeth would have been drilled and filled unnecessarily. Also i've worked in the dental field before and i know that prices depend on location i went to the Maverick office but the address on the treatment plan is an office from Quincy. wonder why. i originally went to get my cleaning because i want to get braces and was going to get the treatment done in the Chelsea office but now i will be taking my business elsewhere because trust has been broken and now i can't trust anything they say. please get a second opinion it can save you some money or perhaps some teeth! read more

In the past week I have been here more than I ever wanted honestly. Long, uncomfortable processes but they needed to be done. Each time, the Dr. is always running 30 minutes late, like clockwork it never fails. Ensure to come here with more enough time to spare and if you don't have the time then ask the girl at the front desk because they won't update you on the delay. Dr. P is nice, and very gentle, I like him. The rooms though are starting to look a little worn out, although everything it's always in its place and clean. The parking might be a headache because the street parking is always taken by the residents but its right across the street from the MBTA which is super convenient. read more

I came here a few months ago for a routine cleaning. The dental assistant and the dentist were both very nice and professional. I didn't have to wait long and the appointment didn't take long at all. They found one cavity and I was able to get another appointment quickly to have it filled. That appointment also went smoothly and the dentist did a great job with the novocaine injections, not too painful at all. I'll definitely be returning here for my next cleaning this fall, hopefully with zero cavities this time ;) read more

Dr. Dan is the best. A very funny guy that will not only perform amazing dental feats in mere seconds with as little pain to his patients as he can manage. Had a great experience. I walked-in without an appointment and a screaming wisdom tooth. As to be expected I had to wait awhile but that was to but the doctor was apologetic and kept me updated as to how long I would have to wait. Once in the chair he was very nice and made a referral to an oral surgeon. The receptionist was also very nice and courteous and explained what my insurance covered and how much I might have to pay out pocket. I think I've found a new regular dentist. read more

My Son had a wisdom tooth pulled and he got no meds after two days later I had him in the ER at the health center there was a infection. they gave him meds . called the dentist office like they said I had to wait until the dentist that pull the tooth came there fours days later he looked in my son mouth and said ok there is a infection take meds the health gave you see you in two weeks for a cleaning REALLY ???? One of the most incredible, scratch that The Most Incredible dentist office I have ever been to. I have been coming to this dental office for years and the staff and the service just keeps getting better! When I walked into the door Leslie in reception automatically welcomes me by name. This time I went in for a cleaning and there was a bit of a wait. We all expect to have a wait whenever we go to the doctor so I didn't mind. When some time had gone by Leslie popped her head over the desk to apologize to me for the wait and I made a little joke with her and the doctor who was sitting at the front at the time. The staff at this location are so kind and get along so well it makes me as a customer feel more like visiting friends than the (scary) dentist that we all fear. When it was my turn the staff working on my teeth were friendly and put me to ease for my huge cleaning procedure :). There was a new guy there I can't remember his name but he polished my teeth and was really kind and gentle. Thank you to Doctor D for your patience, professionalism, kindness and willingness to answer all my questions. Evelyn was fantastic! Totally helpful... the dental assistant was awesome- she made me laugh and feel totally comfortable, but was also very clearly skilled at what she was doing. The doctor was very knowledgeable and did a great job with my teeth, I don't speak Spanish but I think everyone in the office did, which is always a plus.
