My dad bought his fj 8500 from another dealer and I went here. This is their flagship original store. A lot of stores and sites carry this brand but the manager here was able to give amazing deals compared to dealers that sell the same chair. Especially if you buy from them on the holidays they offer amazing deals. We used to love the chair until it broke down after less than 1.5 yr and the warranty expired When we purchased the expensive chair and was told the warranty is good for 3yrs so they are proving false advertisement. The chair constantly broke. Overall i dont recommend to anyone. Here is the detail. The cloth underneath ripped after we bought it for less than a year. The technician acknowledged that there was a bad batch of cloth, which was hanging lose and it got tangled and broke the metal part inside. it was supposed to be covered under the warranty but still demand to pay for the inspection and home service charge. We tried to pay with credit card, and they dont take credit card! Which company doesn't take credit card? They said either cash or zelle, which IMO very improfessional. Less than a year, the cloth broke again! and they dont take responisbility. Technician said they will let upper management know! WTF! another charge 600!!! at this point, this massage chair is a money pit if we use it or if we dont use it, it becomes expensive POS which is taking up space. read more

We bought a Fuji Massage chair in early June and loved it very much. However it developed some noises and malfunctions on the airbags by the thighs. We contacted the seller and Wendy who delivered and installed our chair contacted us via FaceTime to diagnose the problems. Un-Certified Technicians working on service calls. They do not know how to properly troubleshoot issues. Corp company over charges for service to compensate for travel without telling consumers. This company charges $380 for service calls while a certified tech from the actual company only $215. Upper management is unprofessional and has zero follow up with consumers. Employees at the company do not speak proper English to communicate clearly. We had a massage chair that was in need of repair. The tech from this ACIGI/Fujiiryoki company came to our house and inspected the chair. Said it was perfectly fine to fix and he was able to repair, no problem. Guaranteed fixing and repair. Parts ordered and the chair was taken to their warehouse in Fremont for additional disgnostic. Our chair sat in the warehouse for over 2 months. We had placed several calls for status checks and updates. No one ever called back. The chair was finally delivered back to us. Worked for 10 minutes and stopped again. We complained, the tech came back out and said the chair is useless and for us to buy a new one. We decided to call a certified tech for the massage chair and he said it was an easy fix. Now our chair is in working order, no issues. These employees, managers and techs alike are only out for the money. They do not know what they are doing and are incompetent. Receptionists do not know anything and can only take a message which never gets to its proper place. Because I have never gotten a call back. Techs are useless and do not actually know what they are doing. Managers cannot give straight answers to questions. We would give this company a zero star if possible. read more

I came to this showroom. It is pretty impressive. There a all types of chairs and price range. The best part of it, is that you get to try them for free. That's where it all end. Once their sales talk you into getting one, you are screwed. They tell you the chair comes with a free one year warranty and free delivery. The delivery of the chair is free but the one year warranty is charged to you even though they tell you it's free. Than they sent you your invoice about a month later, after you paid off your credit card bill. On top of that they place all your personal information on the envelope that your invoice comes in. If you have any complains about the chair or the invoice good luck trying to find their phone number from the invoice. Once you get them on the phone the sales person that handle your purchase always seems to be unavailable to speak with you. Oh, don't bother to leave messages, your calls will never be return. As for trying to call for a warranty service, the best of luck to you when you do. The heat on my chair doesn't work, meaning no heat comes from the chair when I turn the heat on. When I called they told me I didn't do it right. I read the instruction provide, oh, the instruction booklet provided is for a different model of chair. Thus, I put my tech hat on and got to work, found out that the cable to the heating coil was disconnected. I reconnected it and there was heat, but the heat was only lukewarm. I called them back left several messages with no call back. So, I gave up on trying to recontact them. Left that job to my wife, she's still trying to get in touch with them in regard to the one year warranty charges. It's been 2 months, she's still at it. read more

I bought this chair at a health Expo - at 1st they were asking around $6000. I think I paid about 2200. I just saw one on eBay exactly the same for $659. It wouldn't be so bad if they are horrible with customer service and you only get a 90 day in-house warrantee. The short story - the leather like coating over the chair starts falling apart in 2 years; the foot massager stopped working about 2 years; The touchscreen LED lights started going out after 2 years; the massage is getting less potent after about 4 years. I must say, it does give a very good massage! I still use it for my back, but I must put a sheet over it otherwise the black flakes from whatever is coating the chair get all over me. Now, they just drop on the floor or stay on the sheet. I would definitely stay away from this unless you can buy it for $650 with at least a three-year warranty! Otherwise, there are so many sources for the same chair! It looks like Michael who gave the review did get a freebie - but, I can understand him saying that it gave a great massage. However, just don't buy it from Dr. Fuji. read more
