The most ridiculous establishment ever. They always over charge you and when you bring it up to their attention, they ask you to go pick up the tag and show them. Are you serious? Do I work for you? Gabrielle at the front desk is amazing! I've only visited Restaurant Depot twice, but both times she's been incredibly cheerful, courteous, and helpful. Her positive attitude really makes a difference and made me feel welcome right away. I just filled out my application and will definitely be back. On a small downside, I purchased a 3-bone beef rib pack that smelled a bit off when I opened it at home--almost like a sewer odor. I rinsed it and the smell improved, so I froze them for now and hope they're okay. It was nearly $80, so fingers crossed it was just packaging. I'm giving the review 4 stars only because of the beef ribs otherwise I would have made it 5 stars. Still, Gabrielle's outstanding service keeps this review solid. Be extra careful with where you line up They close without blue close sign on eventhough the customers were behind the line And they make you to re line up way back, then your wait time gets reset Ask the staff to make sure your line is active otherwise your wait time will get reset too read more

I come here for the meat an the meat only...there's a man named Lorenzo I believe he's the meat manager! One thing I can say that it is very very clean and looks a whole different since that man has been the meat manager in a good way! Where do I start? I made three trips here to buy food trays based on their posted restock dates, and all three times there STILL were no trays. It's so hard to find ANYTHING. The products are trashed (chafing dish boxes that look like they've been through a shredder--and you'll find chafers cheaper at Costco!). Items aren't in the right place. Missing prices on 60% of shelf items so you have to take the product to the front desk just to get a price. Continuously out of stock, no idea when they'll get it again or posted restock dates that mean nothing. Everything is expensive. Lousy selection. Two cashiers open when they should have four or five. Long, long, slow moving checkout lines that block access to the isles. It's dirty, dirty, dirty! Store is dirty. Parking lot is dirty. Carts left all over the place, including in parking spaces. No one rounds them up. A bag of flour or sugar or something spills in the isle--no one cares to clean it up, they just leave it. Items that require refrigeration just left on shelves near the cashiers because customers didn't want them but were too lazy to take them back to the refrigerators. It's just a miserable place to go. Only go there if you absolutely have to. Costco business center has better prices on most items--stock is in better condition, and all the prices are posted. read more

Seriously the worst! I don't even want to step in here unless I have to! I choose to pay more at Costco business than to come here. Takes me 5-10min to grab what I need but to wait and pay is a nightmare every time! The workers take their sweet time unlike Costco! Management need to do something because their rep come to my shop to ask me why I haven't shop there and my respond was your lines are wait time too long! This is an establishment that requires membership. So you pay for the privilege to shop there. More often than not they have what you're looking for, even if you have to locate it high up on a warehouse rack and flag down a guy with a forklift to get it. Their biggest downside has always been their checkout process. For a long time it was a single line down a single isle, and they would direct you one by one to available check-stands. Seemed slow and sometimes the line wrapped around the store. But it was orderly. The other problem related to checking out is the management and inventory system. They seem to have a poor control of their POS/Inventory system and never know for sure if an item is discounted like the boxes say. So they are forever calling for non available management overrides on their old POS systems. This dramatically holds things up. After that, check out clerks have to call a manager to finalize each transaction. So again, you're waiting for a manager to come over a count items. It's insane. They provide No empowerment to their employees. And waste every customers time. Lately they have abandoned the single line for a free for all at the front of the store. This could make sense. However, the employees still need multiple checks from management to complete transactions. And many of the employees have zero customer service skills. They are stressed out, trying to get to their break times, and end up yelling at the customers or being extremely sarcastic with them. This palace doesn't respect you as a customer. At all. Not your time, or your experience with them. I would strong recommend seeing if somewhere like US Chefs store, smart and final, or Costco can meet your needs before coming here. It will take much longer than you'd expect, and will be largely a bad experience. read more

Been shopping here for close to 8 years and it could get really frustrating to find help at times that I've not come back. I got the pleasure of working with Gabrielle in reception / customer service. I usually buy in bulks and she would go above and beyond to make my shopping experience as seamless as possible. Stay away if possible...Everything seems to be labeled incorrectly. I have been to this place about five times and every time I go I'm never satisfied I always have an issue when checking out. The roommate does a Restaurant Depot run every Wednesday and Saturday. Since we had something to do in the morning, I went with him last Saturday, July 7th around 11:15am. This was the first time I'd ever been to a Restaurant Depot, so I just roamed around while he shopped. Saw giant cans of cheese sauces and spam classic. Two things I adore. I didn't hit up the giant walk in fridge section (I was in a dress and would have froze), but the actual warehouse had a good amount of things: food, take out containers, beverages, etc. I think we were here for about an hour, so the roommate managed to fill up two carts with his restaurant purchases. Price wise, the roomie says it's cheaper to come to restaurant depot versus buying through a vendor, so he's goes twice a week, every week to get chicken, lettuce, onions, etc. Fun exploring this giant warehouse. I only wish I could eat over 6 lbs of nacho cheese. I really wanted one of those cans. Gimme that ooey gooey deliciousness! read more

This location has a really rude cashier, her name was Candance. She helped this couple before us with their purchased. At the end of their purchased, the man didn't know where to pay so instead Candace was saying, "I'm not paying for you stuff, I'm not paying" to the customer which I thought was a little ignorant for her to say when clearly, the couple had a language barrier while also trying to figure out where to pay. Then, it was my turn, she scanned all of my items and towards the end, one of the item I purchase after she "tried" to put it on the counter it almost fell on the ground, luckily my boyfriend caught it before it actually fell one the floor. She turned her body towards the next customer very quickly. She goes, "hello, hello, HELLLLLO, you're next" to the gentlemen after us. He was trying to get something out of his wallet and he was obviously confused and he goes, "geez" to Candance. So then when I heard that while I was trying to pay, I instantly told how rude she was and she did not like it. She tried to explain to me why and find reasons why she was like that and all I wanted to do is get my receipt and leave. She told me, "thanks, like I needed that" in a sarcastic way and with a look in her face. For me, no matter how bad of a day you're having, you need to leave that behind the door before you actually enter your workplace, because now you are passing that bad energy to others around you (especially to your customers). Anyone would hate to come to a place and get treated like that by someone. Candance was extremely rude and because of that I don't think I would drive 20 miles again just to have another bad experience. They close at 6pm daily and limit certain items such as hand sanitizer etc. I only come here for certain things like eggs, cheese, limes, flour and other everyday household things.
