I can't believe I have yet to write a review about Dr. Hurtado and his team. This might sound weird, as the dentist shouldn't be an excitement, but I love coming into the office! Dr. Hurtado and his staff always introduce me with a smile and they are so kind, not to mention extremely professional. Julio, the treatment coordinator, is simply awesome. He has impeccable patience, off the charts customer service, and just creates a positive and welcoming environment. Which, believe me, I NEED in a dental office. And then there's Myra, the office coordinator. Myra is another gem at Dr. Hurtado's office. Any questions regarding insurance or financial coordination - speak to Myra! She helped (over three years ago) develop a payment plan for a new Invisalign treatment that worked with my finances. I couldn't believe how transparent and upfront she was - after 6 months of financing and payoff, I know there was not any "fine text" or "disclaimers" from Myra. She has a heart of gold and is an absolute angel! Both dental assistants (Aracelli and Lindel) are extremely experienced, knowledgable and never less than professional. And last but not least, Dr. Hurtado, although I am not even sure where to begin. Dr. Hurtado spent so much time with me perfecting my Invisalign & complex dental treatment; I was really blown away by his attention to detail. He has created an absolutely exceptional practice in every capacity. The entire office staff are genuinely kind, incredibly friendly, and make a point of explaining procedures they need to perform with every little detail you could think of. Julio is the best part of this office. He "owns" the customer experience and is a total pro. He clearly enjoys interacting with customers and will even do what he can with insurance companies to help the customer. I cannot recommend Dr. Hurtado enough!! He is an absolutely wonderful dentist - the best I have ever had. When I lived in Los Angeles, I would drive all the way to Santa Barbara for his services. I recently moved across the country and I STILL schedule my dental visits whenever I am back in town. Dr. Hurtado is meticulous, has great bedside manner, and is incredibly friendly. I love the swing music that's always on in the office. Admittedly, I genuinely enjoy going to the dentist. But even my husband who has some dental anxiety does well with Dr. Hurtado. He is a professional perfectionist, and takes the time to clean and work on your teeth with gentle precision. And the rest of the office staff is awesome as well. Julio is THE BEST. I love this place best dental experience I have had!!! I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a great dentist, great dental assistance and amazing front office staff. Every time I went in I was greeted immediately by Mayra who is very sweet and by Julio who writes people's names on a board to greet them. Dr. Hurtado was great I was scared to go to the dentist from past experiences but he really made me feel comfortable and talked me through everything he was doing. Lindel was his assistant and was very nice as well and helped make me feel comfortable through the entire procedure, even letting me hold the water sucking thing cause I want to be in control of at least one thing during the time I was there. When getting my x rays as well she was very nice and helpful and explained step by step everything I would be doing during my visit. If you need a dentist look no further this is the best and it's right in the middle of downtown! read more

The name of this business is actually Hurtado Dentistry. DO NOT GO HERE! The dentists are good but the office staff is AWFUL! They don't do their job when they say they do. I have been waiting for over 6 months for my daughters cavity claim to be approved only to find out they had never submitted it although I would call them every 3 weeks and would get one excuse after another. My husband went to pick up my daughter's file as we finally are over their office and found a much better office and there was NOTHING in it!!!!! What kind of business are they running???? save your teeth and headaches and go somewhere else. Dr. Hurtado - you really need to look into your staff. They suck. read more

Go here. It's that simple. I saw the same dentist the first 26 years of my life in Redwood City and thought that was the norm... and they were amazing, but this office is somehow better. I chose it for the outstanding reviews online thinking, "there's no way this place can be that good." It really is. I walked into a very modern and welcoming lobby with a staff that made me feel so welcome before the door even closed behind me. My x-ray​ tech was really sweet (also the tech during the cleaning), and Dr. White was completely professional and pleasant. No sketchy upsells, extremely friendly and competent staff, great facility, quick visit for everything involved (x-rays, exam, cleaning, fillings etc in under 2 hours). If you've had a bad experience or two with dentists, give this place a shot. Also, I asked for a quote regarding pricing without insurance (because I put off a dental visit forever because I was uninsured and am losing my insurance in a few weeks), and the price quoted without insurance was under $200. I went to Western Dental in January because I thought they would have cheap and efficient work on their own insurance policy. I never went back after the initial consultation because they tried to get $2,300 out of me, and then after I talked them down to just a simple cleaning, they still wanted $500. Dr. White was honest in what I needed and didn't need, and it came nowhere near that price. Again... to anyone like me who has been putting off a dentist visit because of whatever reason... go here. Going three years without a proper cleaning was really stressing me out, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wish I had gone earlier. read more

Best dental experience I've had in a long time. (This was for my initial assessment appt.) Arrived at my appt. time, was getting xrays probably 3-4 minutes after signing my paperwork. Then moved right to my chair where I sat for 3-4 minutes before the exam began. Exam showed that I needed a cleaning and 4 small cavities filled; they were able to do them right then... No coming back in a week! Awesome! Pain free, super nice dentist and staff from the minute you walk in the door till you walk back out.
