Informative and caring. Great bedside manner. A lot of chiropractors just do adjustments without doing muscle treatments. Dr. Yu does more than adjustments. He will treat your muscle injuries and pain along with the adjustments. He does some serious trigger point relief. He has RF and ultrasound to reduce the inflammation in the injured muscles. He made sure to explain what he was doing and how it will help with my condition. An honest review really matters, it was the reviews that led us to choosing Dr. Yu over the others. So here is my review, hope it brings clarity and helps others when selecting a chiropractor. This review is written after two treatments, so after two weeks time when we first visited Dr. Yu. My wife was initially suffering from a neck pain which propagated to her left shoulder down to the left arm. The pain was severe and she would rate it at 10-10 at times. For a month's time, the pain cause her to lose sleep at night; during this period, we was only sleeping around 3-4 hours a night and the pain would last through out the day. She was not getting any break from it. This is when we finally said we have to do something about because it was simply not getting better. I went online and saw that there were more chiropractors selections than there are flavors of ice-cream. This is where the reviews helped. At the first visit, Dr. Yu spent a lot of the time discovering my wife's situation. At the end of it, he had a good grasp of the source of the pain and immediately went into treatment. Treatment were a combination of ultrasonic pulse to relax the tensed muscles followed by physical adjustments. After the first visit, he had IMMIATELY relieved more than half of my wife's pain. He sent us home with breathing and stretching exercises, along with a few recommendations on purchases to help relief the pain if it should worsen. The second visit, which was a week after the first, Dr. Yu was able to pin point the source of the pain. He made focused adjustment on that area. My wife went home with ZERO pain. She slept through the night! And it has been this way for 5 days now. As the time of writing this review, she will be going to the third visit, and she will be going in with no pain. Dr. Yu is incredible, I wrote in hopes helping others in making a solid decision. Whether if you are on the fence on chiropractor treatment or you going through a long list of chiropractors. Came here on Father's Day since basically everywhere else was closed and boy am I glad I found this gem of a place. Dr Yu spent an hour for my consultation and got very in depth with the ins and outs of my past injury, current injuries, and overall habits to carefully diagnose what the problem was I thought I just had sciatica and was flaring up again turns out my right hip was higher than my left and he was fast to adjust my hip so it could go back to being balanced, I left that day with a few helpful tips and tricks to help on the road of recovery. Today I went again and I was feeling a lot better he gave me a few minor tweaks to help alleviate some of the pain I still have and I will continue to go back. Another reason why I like him is because he is trying to help me recover so that I won't have to continue to come back once every couple days he wants to see the patient in a better and happier lifestyle not just here to adjust and see you in a couple days like other chiropractors.
