I was able to make an appointment for the same day after work. They're open late. The receptionist was very polite and kind. They start you off with an X-ray then do the massage into the alignment, and ended with the tens unit and heat pad. It does take a while but I was in great hands. Just be aware of how people are driving in this area. Yes, there are a bunch of chiropractic clinics who rush around and that do the minimum or straight up make things worse. But not this spot. The chiropractors are kind, respectful & know their stuff. The massage therapists are strong and will unknot any stiffness but if you're sensitive you can ask them do be more light on the pressure. My experience at Body Detox is what I have been looking for in a chiropractor. The initial consultation I received was in depth that helped pinpoint what was causing my pain. I had a complete checkup which included X-rays. After that I received heat therapy along with an adjustment and neck message. My visit ended with some relaxation in one of their big comfy chairs with some electro therapy. A plus was that my insurance was accepted and I only had to pay a small co-pay. As soon as you enter into the building you were greeted right away with smiles and greetings. All the receptionists are really friendly and sweet and genuinely care about all the clients that come in and make sure that you are comfortable. So I had pain in my neck for the past couple of months and I have learned to just kind of live around it. It was just kind of annoying because whenever I drive I can't look over my shoulder without a really sharp pain. So one day I decided to go get adjusted by Tsu. I kid you not When he adjusted my neck it was literally instant relief. The next morning when I woke up I had no more pain and I had full function and rotation of my neck again. Hi everyone!! I recently went in for an alignment for my first visit and returned a second time not even a couple weeks later for a massage with cupping, and it was exceptional! First off, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the chiropractor was amazing. Dr. Benji made me feel welcome and comfortable right from the start. He knew exactly what he was talking about and explained everything in a way where I understood and things just made sense. My second visit, I was scheduled a massage with cupping. Holy cow, it was amazing! The cups felt like little suction cups on my skin, but in a good way. They were kinda weird at first, but they felt really good once I got used to them. And the massage? It was like all the stress and tension just melted away. I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards, it was like I was floating on air. I was referred to Dr. Lam by a friend who recommended me to see him. I was having issues on my neck and back due to wrong sleeping position and knot build up from exercising throughout the years. Dr. Lam was very kind to squeeze me in his busy schedule. It was my first appointment with Dr. Lam and when I first met him, he was very professional and easy going to talk to. He is very knowledgeable in his professional field. When you meet him, you already have the impression that he genuinely and truly cares about his patients and their health. The first thing we did was he evaluated and assessed me before proceeding to any treatments or adjustments. Once I was properly evaluated and assessed, we started the shockwave therapy, which was my first time experience. Then we proceeded to a certain type of muscle therapy where he was massaging and loosening my knots and my other tight muscles. I was highly surprised and impressed with his techniques! There were knots and tight muscles that I never knew I had until the treatment! After the muscle therapy, Dr. Lam began the adjustments. Boy, let me tell you, his adjustments are out of this world! The lack of range and tightness around it was noticeable when checked out by Dr. Lam. He performed a shockwave therapy, along with a intense massage to help with the injury. Vanessa, the massage therapist, gives great tailored massages, but you didn't read that since I don't want you taking her appointments. I am writing a one star review not because this place is bad. But because of the front desk receptionist named Britney. Today was like any other day, check up at the office to get treatment. I walk in and I sit down in the lobby, over hearing Britney say. " oh I bet you omid is gonna miss today he always misses hes the type of patient that misses his appointments." I've missed one and that was because I was in an accident. Yet she still had the audacity to get mad at me for not telling them?!?! Yeah next time I'll let you know when I get in a car accident. Anyways, she proceeds to call me as I'm in the office already. Then says oh you're here! Like a big shocker. I responded yes, you would know if you saw me walked in doing your job! She proceeded to yell and harass me then that's when another patient not even worker started yelling at me. The cherry on top is Britney and that patient then start gossiping about me. Which violates health laws. I am working on a way to upload the video I recorded. But either way they sent that female dog home named Britney because of how unprofessional she was working. Be aware, she makes her patients feel bad, she gossips about patients and has no problem yelling for whatever reason. Im more worried for other patients. But this is first step I will take before going to the department of health and asking HIPAA to intervene and conduct an active investigation. read more

My dad went looking for a chiropractor for my mom since she fell on Mother's Day. She's been experiencing some pain and stiffness on her leg so we thought it was time to see somebody. We found Dr. Lam on Yelp and proceeding to make an appointment. The lady that picked up the call was so nice and when we got to the office they treated my mom so sweet, as if she was their mom too. Dr. Lam assessed her pain situation and go to work. They allowed me to sit next to my mom while she was undergoing her session so I can translate. Dr. Lam took his time to work out the kinks and made sure my mom was comfortable every step of the way. I came here from a referral of a friend. Once I entered, the lady was super nice and helped me check in. I was an hour early, but they had a movie playing which helped keep me occupied while waiting for my appointment. When it was my turn, the chiropractor was super nice. He asked what parts of my body hurt, my physical activity, and any other questions that may help him determine the proper way to help me. I was really nervous since I have never been to a chiropractor. The chiropractor talked with me about my work and other topics to help me stay calm. He noticed I was wearing a Demon Slayer shirt, so he asked me about the show and how I liked it so far. he is very personable and easy to talk to. After my appointment, I was led into a room and laid on a table that helped massage me . I noticed that they used a gaming PC to do all their work and when I spoke to the receptionist, shew was joking that its way too powerful for the work they do. In preparation for running a marathon, I came to see Dr. Lam to get some work done. After my visit here, I feel that I surpassed a certain threshold of physical standards that were crucial to my completion of the marathon and additionally lifelong health. With fitness, it's best to know your body, and Dr. Lam has an amazing way of knowing where tension lies, what ailments you have just checking with his hands (not even an Xray or whatever), and how you can go forward with your physical fitness to be the best you. He also advised my lifestyle habits which i believe were crucial in getting that heart rate down. The massages are a combination of the doctor rolling out tight spots to relieve tension, cracking different parts of your body, electronic pulses sent out with little sticky pads to further relax your muscles, and i also did this leg inflation thing that removes tension in your legs (great for runners).
