I asked for an aura photo session for my birthday from my husband who has no experience in this realm, meanwhile, I follow a ton of places that offer this service and the photos look like works of art and the entire experience appears like a peaceful sanctuary where you can learn about how your aura and energy and build a growth mindset from there. My experience was nothing like this at all. My photo was done with a laptop on a couch while a woman was changing her clothes in the same space, chatting with the Dr. while she tried to get her software to work. My photo looked like a mugshot. Not clear and not even printed, it emailed me some autogenerated report based on the color and that was interesting, but super generic. She rushed me in and out because she was able to squeeze me in between appointments, but I would have rather waited and had a valuable experience. My husband was with me and couldn't believe this is what I wanted for my present. We both laughed. It was almost comical how bad it was and I guess it was $50 and maybe the nicer looking ones are more expensive but you get an actual commemorative photo. My poor husband was like she has great reviews and her front door says award winning...I guess that doesn't always translate to every area of her business and I'm guessing the aura photos is not a big component since it all felt like an afterthought. Dr. Marina Kostina... whoa! This was my first time here with her, I have gotten other reiki sessions before but never with Dr Marina. To me it is very important where you go for energy and spiritual work. So I had to do research, but what called my attention with her is that one I had just texted her to ask on Reiki and availability-- it was my birthday week and I wanted to do something nice I really enjoyed for myself. She had no openings left for the week and her next availability was not going to work for me, well Dr Marina went above and beyond to squeeze me in and see me the next day from my bday! She cleared her schedule where she doesn't take clients to accommodate me. There are not many people who do that! And two her own personal story is what made me want to come in. I have gone through some stuff in life!! And I can only related to those who have an actual story behind them. Dr Marina Kostina, really has a gift, after my session I felt anchored to her bed-- soooo relaxed and tired, but in a good way! That high tired that you know some serious sh** was lifted off you. One of the best sessions I have had. She truly unblocked and moved energy around for me. From everything that goes on mentally, physically and emotionally your body feels it and mine was definitely going through it. I had been struggling all week for my menstrual cycle to come in, I saw and felt signs but nothing. Well after my session Dr Marina mentioned all of what I may feel after the session, one of them being crampy and a possible period. As soon as I got out and sat in my car a definite cramping started and a for sure flow came in finally!! It felt different, healthier and even good for my body. My cramps were usually very achy and in my lower back, Dr Marina shifted even that for me! My cramps were in my lower abdomen and felt healthier, how? I don't know but your body just can tell. I went for Bio-Well Scan & Reiki session for my birthday. Marina has a great energy and very intuitive. She does a great job of making sure you are comfortable and wants you to walk away lighter than when you walked in. A sense of peace and letting go. I 100% believe in energy healing, but was not sure about the Bio-Well Scan. It was RIGHT ON. Things that came up that only I would know on this scan and it was very eye opening. Also during the energy session she was able to pinpoint areas of trauma I never spoke on. She has a great talent and now I have areas to focus on for the year. I found Marina on a Groupon. I have done what I thought was Reiki once before and it was relaxing but I didn't notice anything much different after. I have some health things going on so I felt that It couldn't hurt...why not and it's affordable. I booked my initial session pretty easily. Marina is very charismatic and likable. She gave me confidence that the doctors were wrong and I can overcome my diagnosis. I felt optimistic. A few weeks after I got a text from a Marina and it seemed strangely to line up with what the universe was saying I should go. So I went to the session in which she uses a machine to read your aura. I was told I had holes in places of my chakras and she gave me advice to work on some things. One was to let out my anger since I bottle up my emotions. She told me to beat a pillow with music blasting when no one was home and yell at it. Well I took that a step further and booked an appointment at a rage room (I wrote a yelp review for it). Needless to say it was fantastic and I felt euphoric after destroying things. Since the appointment I've taken to heart expressing my feelings and processing them and then letting them go. I'm also learning to follow my intuition and meditating before bed. Has all of this made my health issue which is what brought me in better...unfortunately no. However, I think I am more happy in my own skin and my two sessions have given me a third party opinion on aspects of my life I wouldn't have considered. Marina is pretty busy (she just released a book), she teaches yoga, does retreats, and I'm sure has a life outside of all this so she only does morning and afternoon appointments. If you are like me and have a similar work schedule m-f it might be hard to get into see her. read more

My Energy & Aura Analysis/ reiki and chakra balancing session with Marina was long overdue. I wish I had done it sooner because I felt the changes almost immediately. I went into the session feeling insecure and scared about life but open to change and open to learning new techniques for self love and growth. I learned about the different auras that surround my chakras and the vibration in which they resonate. Let's just say they were resonating very low and I was very closed off and guarded. I did not go into the session thinking I would have a break through but that is exactly what happened. She asked me a question that made me realize I had been lying to myself and that very act of lying to myself was preventing me from living an authentic life and allowing my light to shine. The aura balancing was next. Marina gave me some delicious smelling lavender oil and I rubbed it on my hands and face. I laid back and closed my eyes and Marina cleared the negative energy and opened up each chakra point. When I got off the table, I felt a lot lighter, my brain wasn't running a mile-a-minute, and I was feeling hopeful. I have to add that Marina talks to you like an old friend. She doesn't use complicated terminology or talk down to you in any way. She uses real life analogies and real language. I felt very warm and comforted in her presence. I had seen a presentation by Dr. Marina Kostina on aural readings and aural photos. I found it very informative and fascinating. It interested me enough to have her do an aural photo for me. I simply placed my hands on her special machine for several minutes. I relaxed and waited. She then showed me the results on her laptop. I am a 70 year old woman who is very happy and content in my life. My aura photo showed this to me as well. I have a blue aura which means I am a giver and have to be careful not to let people take advantage of me and I told Dr. Marina that at the age of 70, that doesn't happen much any more. It took years but I have learned to set my boundaries and learned to say NO when necessary. I was also told I did not "holes" in my chakras around my aura, showing that my chakras are open and my life is well balanced. It was all in all a very pleasant experience. If I had has issues, or holes, I know and trust Marina enough to know she could help me get through it all. ***GREAT FOR ANTI MASKERS*** I went in for a 3:45pm service with Dr. Marina Kostina. I was there for a 90 minute Reiki session- Dr. Kostina was 15 minutes late but I still waited. Dr. Kostina's client exited the back room without a mask on and walked less than 6ft from me. There were no windows or doors open. Then Dr. Kostina walked out to greet me without a masks as well. I felt my health was in danger. She called me to come on in. I (the only mask wearing person in the room) replied, "is nobody wearing masks though" ? Dr. Kostina said, "yes they are" (although she herself had no mask on). I said "Okay I just see that your client, is not wearing a mask"? Dr. Kostina then replied "This is my friend, we speak Russian together". I told her that doesn't stop an airborne virus. Then Dr. Kostina explained, "I am always in a mask, right now, I got out (of her mask) to say hi to you so you can see me." she went on to say that her client was disoriented from 2 hours of having hypnotherapy and forgot to put her mask back on (implying that her client was not wearing her mask the last 2 hours within the space). I asked to go to the bathroom and when I exited her client left and Dr. Kostina now had a mask on, she told me - "Actually, I am certified with the city of Chicago, for ahh, Covid regulations". I said "Good, good, good, you realized that that was not regulated right?", Dr. Kostina said "How many times can I say I'm sorry? I am sorry ". Dr. Kostina then proceeded to tell me "I don't feel comfortable, you asked me, I answered, you asked me, I answered, you keep telling me I need to feel bad about this" - (mind you, I never told her to feel bad but I think that's logical feeling one would feel if they're risking the lives of other peoples health without their consent)! I told her I was recording (as I was) . Dr. Kostina then said, "Something is wrong with your energy, you just keep attacking me". As a black women I instantly felt triggered by a white woman telling me I am attacking HER, for trying to protect MY health! (but that's a whole other review). On my way out, I told her I was going to file a complaint and I left. Though I have done so. I feel it is common decency to let others know when they're walking into Dangerous situations. Dr. Kostina's office did not do that for me, so I hope I can do that for even one person reading this. The lack of care and reckless for her clients to me doesn't represent consideration and healing for anyone. read more
