"What goes around comes around" refers to the fundamental principle that the actions we take in life are inextricably connected to what we get out of it. Rachel stressed during our massage session that if we are decent in life, good will come. Be unkind and in the long run, life will probably be that way, too. Afterwards, I was motivated to read where Gandhi declared: "Be the change you want to see." Thank you, Rachel, for your example and for the encouragement to practice kindness, compassion, and responsibility. By these actions I am more aware that the practice of these steps will not only bring good karma, but these actions may also benefit others around me.

I especially like the Luk Pra Kob (Thai herbal compresses) during the massages -- the heat helps loosen the muscles and the extra pressure really works out any tightness and knots. This treatment was extremely helpful when I was experiencing knee issues from running, and I would definitely recommend adding this to your massage if you have specific problem areas. Eventually, I checked out her site and reached out to her via email. Although some of my issue was not in her realm of expertise she was willing to try to help. I had no idea what that entailed, but she mentioned "to remove the caca," so I was completely SOLD!!! Whether I was clearing my own old, repressed negativity or cleansing fear, anxiety and trauma projected from others, I was excited to remove it all and start fresh. Incredibly welcoming, deep soulful embrace not some superficial hug. Everyone in attendance was respectful, and ready to do the work in order to reap the benefits. The gentleman that assisted was doing reiki on us was incredibly gifted as well!!! While Dr. Marina guided us through our meditative journey, he went to each and every person. I have no idea how other people responded, I was shocked at how HOT his hands were!!! Seriously, I have had a hot stone massage and because my eyes were closed thought for a moment that was what it was, it was his HANDS!!! I have since gone to see Dr. Marina for hypnosis and a BIG TIME reiki cleansing. She felt something around my heart and around my neck which I was aware of but was happy someone else saw and felt. My chakras were stagnate, my heart chakra was so still one would think I was dead-lol!!! We cleared and cleansed everything and by the time I left all my Chakras were spinning wildly!!! Dr. Marina is beautiful inside and out, very kind and compassionate. Even if you think its outside of her expertise simply ask! This is exactly what I did via email because was not sure what I needed. She will be the first to tell you if she can help with your specific needs. I found Dr. Marina to be warm, extremely candid and FUNNY! Definitely not driven by ego or motivated by the almighty $$$. I have finally found a massage therapist who is good and asks me what I need/want and continuously asks and adapts my massage each visit. I hope she never moves. My husband started going to her last year. He is a marathon runner, and began going to her because she did good sports massage. Then he bought me a massage as a gift. She does great relaxation and targeted massage, as well. And I have been going every 6-8 weeks. I have a sciatic nerve condition and other muscle/nerve conditions, and she is very good about working with me. Not to mention, she is really cool and fun to talk to about health stuff, music and pretty much anything. It is located in a building off of Ravenswood. There is free parking around the building and street parking nearby. I work in a Salon/Spa and I feel that Lee Ann is very reasonably priced.
