But these last few visits have been awful. I took my youngest to get her 4 year shots and was informed the office had "run out" of vaccines and wouldn't know when they would receive more. This unfortunately delayed her starting school. I also took my older daughter for her final dose of the hpv shot in July and was told they didn't have that vaccine either. The office then called me last Thursday saying they had it and scheduled her for today - Monday. I show up and they inform me they ran out of the shot again ! I was irritated that I wasn't even given a courtesy call or email so i didn't waste my time and gas driving over there for nothing AGAIN. Why are the offices running out of vaccines so often ?? Why are they scheduling more appointments than available vaccines ? I feel so disrespected for the lack of urgency or communication from this office.

Then when he sends the Armour Thyroid he sends it as some weird name its not even called then was rude to my pharmacy telling them other pharmacies can get it....well so can mine when the actual medication is named proper. Then he sends 2 different strengths which is NEVER heard of. My Endocrinologist that I saw in Palm Springs for yrs when I lived out that way was the one who showed me that Levothyroxzine is actually a synthetic man made medication and I think he would actually know this since its his line of work. I now have an appointment with an Endocrinologist to get me the correct dosage. When I called this office I told them about the 2 different strengths called in and they even told me....no way....not done that way.....one pill. Not 2 separate. I won't be going back to see him ANYTIME at all.

I ignored it stupidly on that particular day I felt the pain was worse than ever and I better go to the ER here to our wonderful hospital. Mountain Community Hospital in Lake Arrowhead. I went there feeling pretty cocky and thinking this will be nothing well once again. I was there approximately 7:45 in the morning and I was just complaining about chest pain and the incredible doctor and nurses took the bull by the horn and recognized the signs and started taking x-rays and what not and I'm saying it's nothing. It's nothing. I'm feeling pain here is there but immediately they saw and recognized issues and me being the stupid person that I am I'm saying no, I have to go to Spain in three days and they were fantastic. I cannot say oh my God how wonderful they were. They took the ball by the horn like I said and they immediately took some test and they said you're going to have to go down the hill to Riverside Community and I just thought that was crazy well fast-forward that was on 12 May a week later I ended up having open-heart surgery yes and I must say they literally saved my life that was told to me several times by the doctors and the cardiologist at Riverside Community. I would've had several heart attacks in Spain or the airplane had I not been at Riverside Community and had my open heart surgery and had a ER at Mountain community done what they did they literally saved my life that entire staff between the doctors and the entire staff between the nurses the radiologist. They are five star all the way we up here on the mountain are so blessed with the entire staff and the doctors they are our angels truly are angels. We need to stop complaining about the stupid stuff and realize how blessed we are to have the staff at Mountain community. They are really the best stop complaining about the stupid little stuff because they saved my life and I bless them every day. I wake up, I was told by my neurologist at Cedar Sinai that 82% of people don't even make it to the surgery table 82% and that would've been me had it not been the staff at the ER at Mountain community. But instead of jumping straight to suggesting formula, he encouraged me to take care of myself first and to pump to see what my output was. To my surprise, I was producing plenty of milk. That encouragement lit a fire in me--and by that Friday, our baby girl was already back to her birth weight. I am endlessly grateful for Dr. Phan. He was encouraging, compassionate, and honest throughout the process. Most importantly, he reassured me that he wasn't concerned about our baby's health, which gave me an incredible sense of peace. Ms. Shayla has been a true gift in building trust and warmth around medical care for our little one. The front office and nursing staff are incredible as well. They are helpful, kind, patient, and consistently accommodating--especially when something urgent comes up. We always feel supported, never dismissed or rushed. Dr. Cobanov herself is thorough and for families with routine pediatric needs, this office may be fine. Unfortunately, our experience with the office staff and overall responsiveness was extremely frustrating. On multiple occasions, we contacted the office regarding urgent concerns and paperwork involving our son through phone calls, portal messages and even the texting feature, often without timely responses. As parents of medically complex children know waiting days, or oftentimes in our experience, weeks for communication is simply not acceptable. Too often, we had to physically go into the office just to receive a response. The final straw came when we respectfully requested a basic medical summary letter for our son's school records outlining his diagnoses and care needs. Previous pediatricians and top medical specialists had always supported these requests and advocated for our son, but Dr. Cobanov declined. For families managing complex medical needs, strong communication and provider support are essential. We have since transitioned to a different local Redlands pediatrician whose office has been far more responsive, supportive and engaged in our son's overall wellbeing.
