It's taken me quite a while to finish writing this review because I have so many good things to say about Dr. Vasquez and the entire staff here at Optima Health. I've been struggling to find words good enough to describe the amazing people here. I recommend them at every opportunity! I just had no idea what it meant to receive high quality care from a physician until I started coming here last year. What a refreshing change from the status quo From the first visit when I met Dr. Vasquez, I knew right away I hit the lottery of healthcare. He spoke to me in a way that made me feel heard and cared for PERSONALLY by him. It's hard to explain, but this man makes everyone feel special; it's not just me who feels this way. The staff also speaks very highly of him, and they knew exactly what I was talking about when I shared my experience with them. Speaking of staff; a special shoutout to Samantha, Kaylee, and Julia. Not to say that everyone else here isn't amazing as well, but these 3 individuals shine extra bright. Whether it's by phone, or when I come to the office for an appointment, my experience with them has always left me wanting to tell more people about this office. Well worth the drive, even if you don't live near Crestline (I drive 50 minutes to get here). It's so beautiful in Crestline and there's much to do if you can spare some extra time to go exploring before or after your appointment! read more

Administrative staff at the Crestline dump are unprofessional and rude. I liked the doctor I was seeing but her availability was nearly nonexistent. They obviously lack compassion and respect for their patients because when I wrote an email expressing my concerns about unprofessional conduct, they dismissed me and left me in a position waiting for open enrollment at Kaiser. They know this because it was stated in my email. So, they are unethical as well as unprofessional. Administrative staff eventually call to discuss test results. They obviously have no clue what they're talking about and you are left to google your own results. The whole place feels antiquated and yucky. I should be thankful for their push out the door. I just feel an obligation to warn others before they even get to the door. read more

I am pleased with Optima Health Crestline. The office staff are always extremely nice and caring. They always address my concerns and instantly handle my requests. Prescription refills are quick and easy. They do their own blood draws so I don't have to drive a long distance. I appreciate being treated so well. They haven't told me once to lose weight, lol. That's the icing on the cake. We all know when we need to lose weight. The wait in the waiting room is not long and the patients waiting are very friendly. read more

We were very sad to hear of our family doctor retiring. However, we made appointments to meet the new staff to determine if we would continue to come here for our medical needs. My husband and I made appointments with two different doctors on staff here to get to know each one. They were both kind, listened to our concerns, shared in our preferences of being on as little medication as possible, encouraged us in healthy lifestyle choices. Dr.Tadros was great with our 12 y/o daughter as well. We will continue to come here for our health and wellness needs. I am so grateful for Dr. Andro Sharobiem. My mother started seeing him as her Primary Physician in February 2023. My mother is 81 years old and has been a very active lady up until her husband (my father) past in September of 2021. We both were his caregiver for the last 6 years of his life. My mom put here medical issues on the back burner (so to say) and all of the doctors that she was seeing at that time kept loading her up with different medications for this and that. She has been having back issues since dad past and come to find out she has: 1) multilevel degeneration 2) chronic compression of T11 3) mild degree of slipping of vertebral bodies Dr. Sharobiem started immediately working on getting her off some of the medications that were not necessary, got blood work, X-rays and a MRI completed. On May 16th we had a appointment to see Dr. Sharobiem and he went over mom's MRI report, he took his time to listen to her, what she had to say and how she was feeling. He gave mom a referral to a Spine Specialist, Dr. John Steinmann, and mom has her first visit on May 23. AMAZING response! What I personally like about Dr. Sharobiem is that you can tell he is truly sincere, he cares for the patient at hand. He listens, he has a very gentle spirit and is honest. The Staff is AMAZING and extremely helpful. Personally if they took my insurance I would change physicians in a heart beat. My 2 sisters, and I, are very blessed that we have him taking care of our mama! read more

I took my two kids here to get the physicals their daycare required. I always dread taking them to see the doctor, especially both at the same time. But both the staff and Dr. Tadros were amazing with them! The staff gave them paper and pens so they could draw while we waited, but we didn't even have to wait long at all for the doctor. They also gave them some little planes they could put together and my son is obsessed with it lol. read more

Without a doubt a refreshing experience. I was sad but very happy for my previous doctor on his retirement. When my thoughts moved to looking for a new doctor I was concerned with how to go about that. When Optima Heath Care was suggested I called and chose one of the doctors who is an Internist. The knowledge and attention to details is wonderful! The office staff is very personable and helpful as they attend to accurate charting and related tasks. There is a patient and doctor portal available as well, which is awesome. I'm blessed with their care. In fact I have scheduled an appointment for another doctor there who is a skin specialist. read more

Office staff actually put me on hold & then they left for the day. -with my call still on hold. My wife rang them while I was still on hold & found that out. Calling their office either ends in: An answering machine, *during business hours, - How professional. -being placed on hold & then being hung up on. There is absolutely no reason (other than extreme apathy/laziness) for that to happen in any place of business, let alone one that involves the Hippocratic oath. So I drove down there, to see how "busy" they actually were. Imagine my surprise to see; -One solitary patient in the reception room,& three "employees" behind the counter. 2 on the phone, one is literally just sitting there. Perhaps they are just overworked, but after a year of having to beg for prescription refills (sometimes taking more than 2 weeks) I can no longer afford what it is costing my body. No wonder that the one capable person there has resigned. It's pretty obvious that the good Doctor has no clue that His staff seems to be running the show. -poorly. Oh, if the obvious employee tries to slander me with a hurtful/slanderous comment in the reviews, (see the comment/review above mine) Be prepared for some jailtime, -as we will hire a private investigator to expose Your lack of intelligence/moral compass. TLDR: I'd recommend finding a Doctor with a staff that can/will do the job. read more

Doctor Walter Bramson is a wonderful man of God that has been practicing on the mountain for a very long time ( since my childhood ). He and his staff take the time to develop a friendly yet professional relationship with their patients. They are extremely knowledgable and helpful to make patients better when they are sick. His wife Leslie is active in the practice and she is a real sweetheart. I read some of the negative reviews. Yes the office is small and sometimes doctor visits are not present. But that is expected from time to time. If you live in Crestline, this is a great doctor to check out for family care. read more

I cant believe we didnt switch doctors sooner! We just moved up here and switched because he was close. I talked to him about some things my daughter was having difficulties with and he really took the time to address my concerns. He talked me as a person and not a paycheck which is hard to get from a doctor. Last doctor was 2 hour waits never knew my name, barley acknowledged anything i asked questions about. Everyone in the office instantly made us feel comfortable, gave my daughter special attention. Got us in and out in a timely manner. He referred us to his wife for some further questions, and she talked to me on the phone for a long while about everything i had to ask. Dr. Bramson is a very good, caring doctor. 5 Stars. I'm also happy with his front office staff - they are usually friendly and helpful. However, I had to take a star away due to their lack of communication with patients. This office is constantly changing their hours without notice, closing during the week, and taking off for weeks without any prior notice to patients. I can't tell you how frustrating this is. They make no effort to update new hours and closed days, as well as vacation or personal days, on the internet. I have to drive a good distance to get there after work. It would have been very nice to know that they close an hour earlier. I have to turn around and drive all the way home. A notice to patients in the mail with new hours, closed days, and planned vacations would be helpful and polite. We have lives, too. Our time is valuable. read more

STAY AWAY!! This office was ok, Doctor wasn't very nice to my 1 1/2 year old daughter. The real story is with their billing. I told them I have a $20 coepay that I will need to pay and would like to pay it now. The lady refused to take my payment and said I owe nothing. Two months go by and I get a statement in the mail for the $20 for me to pay, which I figured would happen. There was no way for me to pay the paper bill so I would have to pay over the phone! It took me a total of 3 weeks calling this office to finally get ahold of their billing lady. And let me tell you, this lady thought she was the most important person in the world! I started off extremely nice. And right away she started to yell at me over the phone telling me this is not how things work and they would never refuse "money". I would never, and I repeat NEVER! Darken their doors with myself let alone exposing my daughter to the likes of these people. read more

He's typically late in seeing patients -- except if you're one of his favorites, in which case he will bump you to the head of the line ahead of others who have been waiting longer. This has happened not only to me, but to a couple members of my family. My son was in the office 3 hours, and he had an appointment. I went in for a check-up, but never got a follow up ... so I don't know what the 'diagnosis' was. And unless you like that sort of thing, watch out for his pushing the bible at you. read more

I have been coming to see Dr. Bramson for over 15 years. He is a thoughtful, careful physician, provides extremely thorough physical exams and (hopefully) has a good sense of when to refer to specialist vs. watchful waiting. He works with specialists down around St. Bernardine - I have had good luck with all my referrals over the years. That said, the office staff tends to run very slowly. For example, most recent visit. On time for 830am appt, no one in office. Waited til 9AM to be seen for lab work. They have lost track of my referrals recently as well, and I have had to hop in and help manage that process. Definitely set a reminder on your phone when calling - seems like they are closed for lunch a couple hours a day so your window for getting them is a bit limited. It's a running joke with myself and my mountain friends about going to see Dr. Bramson. No one knows how long they will be there - few minutes or a few hours. I've had both. I continue to go because although it is frustrating, I feel he is worth the wait. I figure that he is just backed up giving solid care to other patients. Just plan accordingly when you go. read more

Dr Bramson was our family dr for about 5 years until we moved out of state. I was very sad to have to find a new dr. I felt very comfortable with him as my dr for myself and my kids. He is very good with kids. One time my whole family had a horrible flu that turned into pneumonia for some of us, and he was able to see us and treat us as a family--priceless! I was very happy with his practice and still recommend him to friends who still live back in Crestline. read more

Plain and simple, the best doctor on the mountain. The staff is great and accommodating. The best part? He'll squeeze you in when you need to see a doctor. The wait times can be longer than you may like, but once you get into his office, you'll see why. He takes the time YOU need to explain what's going on and what options are available to you.
