Several services we paid for were either not provided as agreed or were handled in an unacceptable manner. Bar Service: Our quote stated 4 hours of bar service and did not say that setup, cleanup, or takedown would be deducted from those hours. We were also told the bar was closing because all guests had returned to the house, which was not true. Several guests were still outside and wanted to continue socializing and having drinks. Vodka: I specifically requested a particular vodka because it is what I personally drink. We were told one liquor store did not carry it, but no alternative store or option was explored, and we were never contacted to discuss a replacement. This was my wedding, and I expected a specific request we paid for to be honored. Alcohol: We were given/charged a $500 alcohol allowance but received only one bottle of each liquor. We still have not received a clear explanation of how the $500 was allocated or why the full value was not reflected in what was provided. Speaker Rental: We paid for a speaker rental but did not receive a working speaker. My husband was told they already knew they did not have a working speaker and therefore did not bring one or the necessary cords. We were told a refund was due, but approximately three weeks later, we still had not received it. S'mores: If a burn ban prevented the s'mores setup, we should have been informed beforehand. We were told the supplies we paid for would be left for us, but they were taken back by the company. We believe we should receive a refund for this package since the service and supplies were not provided as agreed. Signage: The requested signage was not displayed, and we were never informed beforehand that it would not be provided. Communication: The lack of communication was one of the most frustrating parts of the experience. I had to contact two email addresses, two phone numbers, and Facebook Messenger before finally receiving a response. This was after we had already paid more than $6,000. Even after receiving a response, the company has been unwilling to provide refunds or otherwise make things right for services and items we paid for but did not receive. We understand that unexpected circumstances can happen at an event. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication, conflicting explanations, and refusal to take responsibility when paid services are not delivered. A wedding should be a time for the couple to enjoy their day, not a time to worry about whether contracted services will actually be provided or spend weeks trying to get answers afterward. Unfortunately, we were left extremely frustrated and disappointed. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company for an important event.
