No designated dog area, but they did have grass areas around the hotel for dogs to do their business. If you come to Idaho on a Sunday- ALOT of things are CLOSED, so plan accordingly.

If you're here for more than a night or two just know that the breakfast does not change a bit. It's literally the same exact foods every single day & there's not a ton of variety. For the meat choice you'll have round sausage or link sausage. No ham, no bacon, no other meat option, just sausage. Day one is not so bad but if you have to eat it for a week or more it gets old real fast. Also, they don't clean the rooms every day. Some hotel chains have returned to good service, & some are still using Covid as an excuse to not provide excellent guest service. This is one of those hotels that leans on the past pandemic as an excuse to not have to pay employees to run a full service hotel. This hotel costs as much if not more than others that do provide the basic daily services, so it's not about being more affordable because it's not more affordable. The beds are on the firmer side, not very cushy & the pillows are all really soft & not supportive. I do like that they have a separate room for showering & getting ready, while the toilet & another sink are in a separate room. Our room also has a fairly large closet so you don't have to move around the suitcases. The swimming pool & hot tub could be a bit cleaner. Literal clusters of hair getting stuck on you as you move in the pool. Other than that it's kind of just a standard place to stay. I do like that they still provide scriptures in each room like most all hotels used to. I also like that they have hot chocolate available in the lobby. Would be a lot better if they also provided some kind of creamer but not all hotels offer hot chocolate all day so I'll call that a win. Would be a step up if they also had cookies in the evenings like other places do. Staying at as many hotels as we do it's kind of a disappointment when you're at one that doesn't offer the fresh baked cookies in the evenings. Those little extras make a big difference.

FatCats is pretty much the only option for new release movies in Rexburg (unless you want to hit…read morethe drive-in theater during the summer). They also offer a bunch of other things to do like bowling, VR, and an arcade. It's pretty much always been busy when I've been there. The movie experience is OK. It's good enough that you're probably not going to bother with driving down to Idaho Falls. Sometimes the movies go fine, other times you have various incidents. The last movie I saw only had sound coming out the front speakers, even though there were clearly speakers all around the walls. Not having even basic Dolby Digital in 2018 is a little weird. It also seems like people being in their correct seats is a regular problem. The seating is assigned, which is great, but annoying when you have to play the game of asking people to move. During the last movie we had the FatCats guy going up and down our aisle trying to verify tickets AFTER the movie had started! There is also a Yelp checkin offer that you should checkout if it's still available. A large popcorn when buying two tickets! Hopefully I'll get to try some of the other activities soon.

It was borderline claustrophobic, but they did a nice job with the room they had, so it felt ok as long as I stayed in my seat. We were able to put our reservation on hold and I was able to reschedule the bounce house for a different date a few days later. They had a great response time, were compassionate and were so willing to work with me on rescheduling. When the crew came to set up, they were quick, clean and respectful of our property and explained things very well. When they came to pick it up they left our yard in great condition and it was great to see how much time and effort they put into cleaning the bounce house after we were done.
