Prior to her leaving, all I was doing was asking for her to explain the paper she handed me. I finally got her to explain and in order for me continue as her patient I had to be willing to cut my dosage of pills and pain patch in 2 months in a quarter. To me this isn't ethical - drugs that strong you can't cut that fast in such a short period of time. How my old Dr felt she was going to continue my care without change - is still a mistery. DO NOT USE!!! What she really wanted was Medicinal Marijuana patients since it is a cash business.

I was in excruciating back pain (l5-s1 disc herniation) and admittedly in a very very dark place physically, mentally, & emotionally. I've suffered with back pain for more than a decade so I'm all too familiar with back pain but thisss time i was unable to sit, walk, stand, let alone roll over in bed. The very thought of having to use the restroom was a monumental feat. Enter Dr. Bonte and his incredible staff. I called one day unsure whether or not I would even be able to get any sort of relief soon, and they reassured me I could be seen the very next day. His incredible staff, as well as Dr Bonte's attentive and empathetic bedside manner truly was what I needed in order to see a light at the end of the tunnel. And sure enough, he immediately started me on a plan and worked things out for me so that I could start feeling better little by little. I was apprehensive about getting a cortisone injection in my lower back but I felt taken care of and knew that Dr. Bonte would be the one to do it best. And that he did. First of all DEWEY IS A TOP NOTCH ACUPUNCTURIST! YOU WILL NOT GET BETTER CARE, bedside manner, and just an overall caring experience. He literally is the best! Here is what really upset me and made me sour towards this business; since I didn't agree to get a nerve blocking procedure/elective surgery, they are refusing to provide me any additional care. (No more acupuncture) They claim to be a "wellness and pain" facility but it seems to me you need to play by their rules in order to get treatment. I was instructed that I needed to follow their protocols, surgery or PT before I can continue treatment (acupuncture). That is in other words telling me what to do with my body and not what I know is good for my body. This left a real bad taste in my mouth. I would have never thought that a "wellness and pain" place would tell me how to manage my pain and what I'm comfortable with especially that I have been progressing slowly in the positive direction. The PA was only doing her job but who is she and Dr. Molina too, to tell me what is working for me??? In conclusion, I recommend DEWEY, but if their dictation or suggestions are not taken, they cut services off to you. Completely unacceptable especially when you're there to feel well and painless!
