We decided to share a Philly cheesesteak from Dr. Philly cheesesteaks. I've had quite a few Philly cheesesteaks in my life and I'm pretty particular about them. First and foremost, the bread or the roll that the cheesesteak is served on is critical. The one at Dr. Philly Cheese Steak was average. As for the filling, the meat itself was good and I did enjoy the sautéed mushrooms and onions, that's how I like my cheesesteaks. I did find the overall taste to be a little too salty and there was a unique seasoning blend that I couldn't put my finger on. I went based on the recent KOIN "Cart of the Week" video. It was one of those 3.5 Star experiences. The Philly portion was ample, the bread soft and chewy. I opted for Provolone, three slices were a perfect gooey throughout. Unfortunately, they add some sort of spice that's overpowering (not hot), so I didn't finish the sandwich. Average fries were also topped with what seems to be the same spice. I will request to leave it off next time. I couldn't decide between Provolone or Whiz, so he gave me a side of the latter. The bread was nice and soft and the sandwich overall was flavorful. The fries weren't bad either, kinda average but they were cooked well. I think for $11 total this was a great price for the portion you get. Highly recommend enjoying it fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Food hit the spot, with generous amounts of fries and meat, both of the individual items probably being enough food that two people could easily split them. My wife just got a sandwich from this cart. Pretty inedible. She got about 1/2 way through before we tossed it. The meat seems to be seasoned with 'taco seasoning', or that's what it tastes like. If you're looking for an authentic cheesesteak this is NOT the place for you! There's better places around this food park. Go for a different one. read more

Nothing against him for that but they need someone who can at least speak decent English to take orders. The guy running the joint was very nice and helpful when it came to me ordering . Allowed me to slightly modify things to my girlfriends order to fit her liking . She loved her cheesesteak so much. Me on the other hand , SLIGHTLY disappointed , I ordered the double chicken sandwich .
