So, this was my experience: I arrived at the office approx. 10 min. early. So, I approached the counter, and just as I was getting my paperwork together, the secretary said: 'NAME!' A few seconds later she yelled it out again, and I told her: "I HEARD YOU!! GIMME A CHANCE TO ANSWER HON, RELAX." (because sheh wasn't being patient with me. Give people a chance to respond, before ya keep repeating yaself.) So, after I handed her my new patient forms, she pulleduup on her computer, my insurance info, and she said: 'It looks like we do not accept your insurance. You said you have Health Wellness...?' So, I said: "Yep! And Health Partners Medicare." Her response was: 'Unfortunately, it looks like we do not accept your insurance here, unless you wanna just be seen as (pay as you go(?) I can't remember the terminology, but she was alluding to my being treated, if I wanted to be seen there as a new patient, without coverage.) So, I told her: 'Nah, nah-no. I have another Dr.'s appt. anyway, I'll just go to that one. It's fine." Now... I was plenty polite, and I left. So... I remembered after I left, that they had never called me in the month prior to my appt., that they didn't accept my insurance. So, I said to her after I returned to the window: " Ya know, nobody ever called me to tell me that my insurance wasn't accepted. And I was under the impression that it was accepted, when I made my appt., here." She said: 'It looks like somebody may have tried to reach you, but it was too little too late...' Now... here's what the whole snod damn problem is: I despise having my time wasted bg some clown Dr's. office, and getting sent on some wild goose chase, without any common courtesy or forethought to informing me that my insurance isn't accepted. And the other reason why I'm pissed off with clowns like this, is because they need to get their sh** together, as a professional outfit, and cut the bullsh. People don't all day taking houses out of their merry way to make needless doktors trips, for no reason. What sloppy customer service--and it's a show of real arrogance to March a patient with health problems l the way out of his/her merry way, FOR NO REASON!! MORONS!!!! Wake uo, and get ya sh** t'getha. Seriously. I don't appreciate being made a fool out of, just because yer too haughty to make a courtesy call, to let me know as a VALUED PATIENT, that my insurance isn't accepted--which yiz should have informed me of, WHEN I CALLED OVER A MONTH AGO!! Very bitterly disappointed, AND insulted. No good.

And had both lenses replaced by Dr. Rommel 2 years ago. The nurse assistants and Dr. Rommel are not only very good at their jobs but are very personable and appear to take an actual interest in the patient's well-being throughout each visit. The advice and suggestions for my better eye health and general health (at my age of 81) that they offer are both intelligent and helpful. I cannot imagine any better eye care anywhere than I get at Manning & Rommel Associates. Note: The "review mafia" must have put this place on their "hit-list" for some reason. None of the "no stars" reviews are valid, in my opinion. Seems like some of them were meant for another practice and submitted here in error. Only one of the bad reviews names a Dr. in this practice, so that one's probably in the intended place.

I said ok that's fine, I'll be back when I want to get Lasik in a few years. Well a few years have passed and I call back for a Lasik appointment and now they don't even offer that service. The place seems in a complete upheaval due to the retirement of a doctor, seems like they're trying to find their footing and figure out what services they do want to provide. Seems like a mess.

They hurt my ears because they were too tight and their adjustments did not help. When I ordered them they never called me to tell me they came in and also when they sent them out to have the lens corrected they didn't call either. They charged me for frames that were to be covered by my insurance. So I ended up shelling out over six hundred dollars for glasses that are worthless to me. I can actually see better out of my old glasses that I bought at My Eye Doctor. I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone. Don't waste your time and money.

Honestly shocked how bad my experience was. My sister, who can't stand bad service, recommended…read morethis place to me so I expected quality. As a new patient, I arrive slightly early, then after 15 minutes I'm called to the exam room. First thing I noticed was how unsanitary it was. There weren't any disposable paper pads for your chin or forehead on the equipment. Dr. Liang used a tissue to "clean" the chin and forehead pad. I slid my mask down and used that as protection. He then asked me to remove the contacts I had in. I was given an open contact container (which looking back, who knows if it was clean or not) and a half bottle of eye solution that I'm sure was used by the previous customer. Luckily I had my own materials I could use. Also, I was poorly informed of if/where I could wash my hands before touching my eyes. My biggest concern was that I was NOT told my eyes would be dilated. Before he put the drops in, I pulled back and asked "what's that?" He said "it's to dilate your eyes". I told him its been a while since I've had that done and I cant remember the last time they were dilated. So not knowing the outcome, I let him proceed. He never asked if I had a ride home. The one thing he did ask AFTER they were dilated, is if I had sunglasses cause it would be bright. Then we were talking about brands of contacts. I told him I've been using a 'Day & Night' brand (specifically made for sleeping) for about 10 years, they work great, and I love them. He immediately said I should not be wearing them, and they're bad for my eyes. He completely disregarded the fact they work for ME. They're the only brand of contacts that have worked for me. He strongly recommended daily contacts, I politely declined. After informing him again I would really like the brand I've been using, he ordered a trial pair with a downgraded prescription; down by a quarter in one eye and a half in the other. As I'm signing out, I can't see anything two feet in front of me. I asked the woman at the front desk if this was normal. She said yes. I couldn't even see the receipt to sign my name. I then sat in my car for 20 minutes contemplating how to drive home. Before my next appointment to get my trial pair, I called to clarify what the apportionment was about and informed the receptionist that I will not be returning and do not need to order contacts due to my unpleasant fist visit. I did not, however, express what I didn't like about it. So keep in mind, they are aware I was not happy of the first outcome. I walk in to receive the trial pair with the downgraded script. I put them in, go to the exam room, and have to squint to see the letters. Granted, I got them correct, but I told him my right eye was slightly blurry. He said "you have 20/20 vision even with the lower prescription" to which I again said "it's still slightly blurry". He did nothing about it. We got to talking about my first appointment. I told him I was never informed my eyes would be dilated to which his response was "all new patients get their eyes dilated". I said "I'm sure they do, but that's information you should tell someone. I haven't been to the eye doctors in at least 2 years, I didn't remember how long the blurry vision lasted". He had no comment and was rushing the exam knowing I was not returning, yet had no desire to know why. The pattern I noticed here is that Dr. Liang disregarded my concerns. Both times I left like they wanted me in and out for a quick buck. I do not recommend this company. I will gladly make the 50 minute drive to my old eye doctor in Oxford.

I had to take back the glasses I had just received a couple of days before as the vision was double and unwearable. The young woman at the reception desk did not even look up when I arrived nor did she greet me in any way. This set the tone for a most unpleasant experience. I was hoping to have the prescription rectified if indeed that was what was needed and was business-like and courteous when I spoke to this person. Noticing the uncalled-for attitude I mentioned the problem with the glasses and after some rudely asked questions she called the optometrist who, in an apparent phony "solidarity" with the initial attendant, was curt and unpleasant, saying she had told me I had cataracts and had discussed it with me when I came for the eye exam: she did so very much in passing and never made it clear to me that due to the cataracts a change in prescription would make little or no difference. Had she done that, I would not have continued with the purchase; but she certainly gave the impression that new lenses could help (they were worse than the old ones I have been wearing for a long time). The unpleasant, nasty session ended when this optometrist said in unprofessional and curt tones: "We are done here," basically kicking me out. This is how employees of Warby Parker at this store treat an elderly, disabled customer who treated them with respect and whose only fault was objecting to their rudeness and lack of professionalism. There are many optical stores in this area---I suggest you choose them.

One stick - didn't feel a thing & set to go. Kim was so attentive & sweet from beginning to end. Dr. Jones (Anesthetic) was fabulous. I never had so much fun & relax feeling as these 2 entire surgeries. Dr. Tien was calm & reassuring doing surgery & if you go anyplace else - you'll regret it. They are TOP NOTCH - CARING & know what the meaning is of "BEDSIDE MANNER" which is lacking in our hospital systems today. I also want to acknowledge: Heather,Laura,Ellen & Jess. They are a GROUP of Fantastic Human Beings in the Medical Field.

As I myself followed up on my glasses I received a few different reasons it took so long. In the end for whatever reason it took the time it did it still should have been handled differently. It kept getting blamed on the lab and yes it was the labs fault apparently. BUT your only as good as your behind the scene workers. If it was a restaurant and your food was wrong - you send it back. Now if you have to wait for another two hours for the correct food to appear - we'll I can guarantee you would not be happy or possibly leave. Once again a restaurant is only as good as it's behind the scene kitchen workers. I'm happy I got my glasses as I have two months of banking I was unable to do which now I'm catching up on. Will I use Dr Dombrowski's practice in the future (?) I'm not sure. I always believe in second chances. Time will tell. I truly hope other people do not go through the same craziness.
