My experience here has been extremely painful and traumatizing, still going through it. Sharing in hopes to help others not fall for all these reviews they pressure you to do. I'm a pretty reasonable person and understand doctors are not perfect, they make mistakes too. But it's owning your mistake & making the effort to correct it is what makes a great doctor, but Dr. Horiyat failed me miserably. I went in to have an onlay tooth checked out & a root canal tooth removed. They lied about viewing my 2 recent CBCT. You can't go in blindly & extract teeth without seeing the dept of the infection without a CBCT. She said she viewed my recent CBCT so there was no need for a 3rd CBCT. Dr. Orest also said before surgery he viewed it but never did. This is critical because day of surgery they failed to clean the deep infection area of my tooth extraction causing an infection. Worst part was the bone graft I requested NOT to be placed after tooth extraction because I knew my body would reject it due to health issues. I asked Dr. Horiyat at least 3-4 times during our visits I did NOT want to risk a failed bone graft & she agreed. I also mentioned it to Dr. Orest when I first met him and he said it was fine he would use double PRF rather than bone graft. I personally called Dr. Orest before surgery again to ask about surgery dates and to confirm NO bone graft, my husband was a witness. Day of surgery Steve handed me paperwork to sign & realized they had put me down for a bone graft after I told them many times no bone graft. Again, I asked Steve to correct it and that I did not want a bone graft. After speaking to Dr. Orest they corrected to no bone graft. Once in the surgery room Dr. Horiyat not once checked in to talk to Dr. Orest or verify everything was going as planned. Once tooth was extracted my mouth still open Dr. Orest said I should get a bone graft so I don't get a dry socket. I said, "Dr. we spoke about this many times and u said it was fine without bone graft. I have health issue & I really don't need or want a bone graft I just want to be out of pain with this root canal." I was in a vulnerable place, in pain & in surgery when he says, "Don't come crying to me if you get a dry socket." He continued telling me he thinks I should get one (I think he was more worried about having enough bone graft for an implant I wasn't interested in). I told him I was scared and that I really did not want one but would have to let him since he was scaring me and I was already in surgery. After a week pain and inflammation began to get worst than before extracting tooth. I made several appt telling them something wasn't right and that I had pain but Dr. Horiyat was always rushed at every appt and said that I have to give it time to heal. She also says "I don't even think Dr. Orest put a bone graft in you." What??!!!! How irresponsible to say such a lie and not know what your surgeon did!!! Its negligence!! Many times I was telling her my body started getting low grade fevers & told her I thought it could be infected & she once again said, "if you had an infection u would be on the floor with pain and fever." Umm, yes! That's exactly what was happening!! She also said it was all in my head to heal and that if I thought negatively I would prevent my body from healing." I'm myself into holistic & healing but OMG common I'm in pain & with fever!! I went to other holistic dentist and periodontist for more opinions & they all confirmed the bone graft not only failed and was necrotizing surrounding tissue and that they didn't fully clean the socket sight causing more inflammation. I brought them the x rays from other dentist but nothing was done. Per my request I even tried coming in for ozone injections to reduce pain but I had to pay for it even though it was due to their surgery.I now have a swollen gland on the right side, around their procedure that hurts all the time. I have given them the chance to do the right thing asking them to correct or to refund my money because now I need another surgery to correct which is costing way more due to the damage. Yes, she knows some holistic approaches & that they didn't mean to add this pain to me but it saddens me that they lack in empathy. They left me in horrible pain & infection not wanting to correct it, knowing I told them NO bone graft. If things go wrong, don't expect them to admit or help u. EVERY SINGLE DAY I'm in so much pain but I also have so much trauma I don't trust dentist anymore. I'm scared to get any surgery now. Dr. Horiyat and Dr. Orest, I hope you and your loved ones NEVER go through the pain and gaslighting you put me through.

Red: Resin edges are chipping, lifted above the tooth, with an irregular border. Green: Tooth anatomy/contour is incorrect and appears concave. Purple: The corner of my natural tooth chipped and is sensitive. This area appears overprocessed during the procedure. I am now seeking evaluation from a 30+ year experienced dentist specializing in biomimetic dentistry to assess the work and determine the appropriate correction. To me, this looks and feels like a rushed, botched job. I was told the sensitivity was "normal," but this was never explained beforehand. Sadly, I now have to have my five teeth reevaluated and fixed by another specialist in New York. Beware. If you have healthy natural teeth, think twice before altering them. I am sharing my genuine, real-life experience as a patient. The issue is not Invisalign--I never received Invisalign. The issue is what happened to my tooth during the ICON resin treatment and the fact that I no longer trust your team to provide additional treatment, incomplete services not rendered. My review is based on my experience, and I have every right to share it. My tooth was damaged during the ICON resin treatment, and teeth do not grow back. This is a permanent change that I have to live with. You advertise conservative treatment, yet this was my experience. Based on what happened, I feel that the way this service was represented to me was misleading. Don't just take my word for it. Read the other one-star reviews and make your own informed decision. After reading the experiences of other patients, I noticed similarities between their concerns and my own experience. I honestly wish I had taken the time to read and learn from real-life patient experiences before choosing this practice. If I had seen these reviews beforehand, I would have thought twice before becoming a patient here.
