Incredibly impressive!! I've had dental work done for almost all of my 50 years and unfortunately experienced my first cavity at five years old and an incredibly traumatic extraction shortly thereafter. I've been through braces and fillings and root canals, etc. I literally have fallen asleep in the adult chair because I have absolutely no fear as I've already experienced the worst they could possibly happen in a dentist's office. I have never in all of my life, experienced a dental practice and a dentist that is as invested and meticulous about my teeth as I am about my health in general. I have had major health issues - very nearly died of lupus - that made me even more acutely aware that, as this amazing dentist said, the mouth is the gateway to health or illness. I have done my homework in saving my own life and literally have doing the "impossible" as a patient at Stanford in putting my autoimmune disease in remission for over three years now. I'm so happy to find a dental practice and a dentist who will enhance my health through this critical gateway -dental wellness- and will help me through the next steps in well care. You can tell he doesn't overbook patience even though he could. He definitely runs his practice with a quality or quantity mentality. Before I moved to Newport Coast my highly respected and loved Uncle in Santa Monica was my dentist and I can honestly say Dr. Allameh has easily shown me the same level of care that my own uncle did which I can assure you says a lot. If you're looking for a new dentist or considering cosmetic work please do yourself a favor and at least meet Dr. Allameh before making a decision. Dr. Allameh and team, are very experienced with how to manage a patient with TMD jaw issues. If you have that condition, you know how difficult any dentistry procedure can be. Even a simple cleaning, uses techniques that are much more efficient. The office is equipped with 'state of the art' instrumentation, equipment and techniques. It makes other dental practices seem outdated, and not able to practice the current state of dentistry. I am so grateful for their digital imaging instruments and ability to visualize a very small crack/leak, in an old restoration. The digital imaging, is quite amazing. The office is very pleasant place to be. Such a switch from my recollections of the dentist office, as a young adult. UPDATE. Just concluded my cosmetic work! Dr Allameh is an ARTIST! I am so grateful to him for creating my beautiful SMILE! It was an extremely difficult assignment. My orthodonture in my teens had given way to movement over the years, and I was left with crooked and slightly discolored teeth. Dr Allameh recommended a 2 arch treatment with 10 veneers on the top teeth and 8 veneers on the bottom. The difficulty had to do with shaping the existing teeth as to accept the veneers into perfect arches. More artistry is needed in creating natural color for each tooth recognizing that natural teeth are not all one color of white. I wanted a smile that said REAL...not FAKE! And that is exactly what happened. Dr Allameh's skills have developed over 20 years of vigilante study and application. This is very necessary because cosmetic dentistry is very complicated and delicate and only continual dedication can create the ARTIST. Please be very careful in choosing a cosmetic dentist ..the stars aligned for me..when I consulted and chose Dr Allameh ... Going to the dentist has been something I have dreaded my entire life. That completely changed when I became a patient of Doctor Allameh who owns Ocean Hills Dentistry. The entire office is so welcoming and efficient. Sherry provided detailed plans and documents for my procedures and worked with me to find appointment times that fit into my schedule. Reminders and confirmation texts were sent each time to ensure my appointments ran smoothly. The office has state of the art equipment and safety prevention's that are second to none. Doctor Allameh took a great deal of time explaining the condition of my entire mouth. He has a wonderful bedside manner and amazing skill and experience that drastically reduces the stress and discomfort of procedures. This is the absolute worst attempt in seeing a dentist I have ever had in my entire life which is 70 years. Sherri is obnoxious, incoherent and not able to run a front desk. I gave up a workday to make my appointment at 10 o'clock which was scheduled eight weeks ago. I'm really skeptical of dentists and dentistry in this country. It's hard to find a dentist you can trust, and as a result, I've bounced around from one place to the next, experiencing anything from inconsistent recommendations to overly-quick and detached consultations to patient-blaming and patient-shaming. And then I found Ocean Hills Dentistry. They take UCI's student health insurance. And though they likely serve a wealthier community, I'm just a poor kid from the hood and I felt like they treated me as they would someone else. They're extremely kind, thorough, communicative, and so forth. Dr. Allameh forefronts comfort and skill above all else, and it makes what is otherwise a nerve-wracking experience one that's tolerable and, dare I say, enjoyable. It isn't just Dr. Allameh. It's the whole team. Sometimes, what breaks or makes a good dentistry is the staff, because that's where the bulk of the patient-blaming and patient-shaming occurs. That isn't Ocean Hills.
