I walked in and was immediately greeted by 2 delightful young women. The store is clean and comfortable with ample seating and a nice big sunny window. I ordered the Island Surge Energy Smoothie which boasts up to 140 mg of natural caffeine, B vitamins, and coconut cream. I was encouraged to sign up for their reward program which included a free smoothie on my next visit. My smoothie was deliciously creamy and not overly sweet. The portion size is generous for the $8.00 price tag and very filling. Looking forward to trying something new on my next visit.

After about 12 minutes, I approached the cashier and mentioned that I had received a text saying my order was ready. Someone checked, and it was found already sitting in a cooler. What stood out was not the wait itself but the absence of basic customer service throughout. No greeting when I walked in, no one checking on me while I waited, no apology once the situation was sorted, and no thank you when I received my order. I reached out about this experience on June 8th and have yet to hear anything back, not even a simple apology. That silence is just as disappointing as the visit itself. I share this hoping it can serve as a coaching opportunity. Greetings, attentiveness, and simple acknowledgments go a long way, and small interactions can make a significant difference in how a guest feels walking out the door.
