I really like this place. Their smoothies and bowls are delicious and super fresh tasting. So refreshing and I feel good while I slurp down the goodness and it energizes me when I am done as well. The service has been excellent each time I have visited. The environment is bright and always well-kept. I like the check out process with the enhanced "register." Why isn't this a 5 star? It's a catch22. The prices are a bit high, but do they have a choice? For super fresh items that have an attached cost for quality, I would say, as a small business, they have to have some profit. I really enjoyed my first visit to Raw Organic Juice Bar! First of all, they are tucked away in a Novi Plaza, right next to Bonefish Grill. When I entered, there were two associates making smoothies and juices and a third associate assisting the one other customer who was inside. This gave me time to look at the very thorough menu, which featured smoothies, elixirs, juices, and acai bowls! I ordered a 16 oz Early Riser (the drinks come in two sizes, 16oz or 20oz). The Early Riser contains greens, cucumber, apple, orange, banana, and ginger. I am not really a big fan of ginger, but I know about all of the health benefits so I went ahead and gave it a try. The smoothie was $7.75 which I do feel is a bit high, however, once I tried it any apprehension went out of the window! My smoothie tasted very fresh, the ginger was subtle and the celery gave it bit of a kick! It was the perfect drink to start my day! I look forward to going back to try another smoothie such as Morning Glory (greens, celery, pear, pineapple, and cilantro), or one of their juices (juices are $8.50). They also have happy hour from 3:00 - 5:00 which is great for those of you who are budget conscious like me! As someone who follows a strict diet due to health issues, I really appreciate the quality and freshness of their ingredients. I will always recommend Raw Organic Juice Bar as somewhere to go if you are in search of pure, healthy ingredients and good customer service. They offer wheatgrass shots which if you haven't tried them before, taste like grass, BUT kick your immune system into overdrive and are incredibly helpful if you feel under the weather. Now for the delicious smoothies, I always get the Blueberry Bliss which has some coconut meat and water, almond butter, and banana and maca. Raw also offers delicious homemade granola bars, a few vegan desert options, and a couple of disappointing salad options. Seems like the salads are an afterthought that don't have the same level of attention as the rest of the menu. My Lotus smoothie was tasty and had a good consistency. It wasn't too sweet since everything here is healthy but it still had a treat-like quality. I also bought a kale salad. I completely mistook the expiration date "3 25", which was in huge font where the price *usually* is, for the price. I couldn't even find the price without bending my head because It was like upside down on the cooler, rather than on the actual carton. This salad (tasty, I'll admit) is SOOOO tiny that I didn't think twice about the price before buying it. It was nowhere near worth the $6 that I actually paid. For a regular sized smoothie and teeny (seriously, like...4 forkfuls) to be $14 ($16/17 with tip) is ridiculous. I might come back since they use whole, organic ingredients but I feel like for $7+ I'm better off making my own smoothies. read more

It is very pricey, and some of the stuff is frozen. When they pulled out the bag of frozen pineapple in the summer, I was like ehhhhhhh. $30 for 2 drinks and it's a frozen bag I can buy at Kroger's? They do have small salads, acai bowls, and protein bites, but I wish they had healthy sandwiches and salads as well. I decided to let her select for me, so I got the "Gladiator" protein pack'd smoothie ( Coconut water, coconut meat, banana, almond butter,cacao,hemp protein, maca, agava) which was rich and delicious like a chocolate banana so yummy. She convinced me to try the walnut wrap I would never have gotten, but boy was I supprised it was like a ground beef lettuce wrap with a delicious salsa on top , so glad I tried it. I also got a shot she said was what's popular among the staff so I tried it it would called a "HOLLA-PAIN-YO" it had jalapeno lime parsley and it is a metabolism booster, mineral & vitamin rich super HOT shot but tasty along with my lettuce wraps. I also got a chance to sit and share with the owner, he is so cool he introduce me to other items on the menu he gave me a few sample treats a Honey nut grain free granola packed with all kinds of nuts almonds pumpkin seeds,raisins cranberry and more yummy healthy goodness. I liked it so much he gave me a pack, plus he let me taste a couple of the other raw juices & smoothies Cool Cucumber w coconut oil which I will get next time.
