Coolest Dr ever. Honestly he's so cool. I came in to find out what my allergies are (more than I assumed) but also to find the root of my constant sinus pressure / headaches and Dr. Hadjiev really gets to the point and knows what your going to say before saying it. Like he's actually so good. I've had issues for as far back as I can remember and I finally decided to figure out what the deal is and he's helping me out with it all the way. You're not waiting there long and he'll get to the point of the matter. His office is nice and roomy. There's chargers everywhere lol and you can chill and watch tv while you wait. His assistants are great and very efficient. They'll schedule all your appointments for you even if there's outside appointments that need to be made (like outside the office) and they'll get back you promptly. Awesome awesome! read more

I left New York to Alabama for 5 years, I flew back to see him every years even I have a brother in law dr. In the house. Dr.H is born to be a doctor that want to cure, care and want to see you better. He will make sure you get the right treatment and understand all the medicines, how to use it before you leave his office! A few years ago, one middle of the night I got asthma could not sleep, seem like all the gadgets that I have could not help, I sent him an email want to come in, in the early morning I got phone call from Claire said "are you ok? I've had very bad seasonal and other allergies most of my life and have been to many doctors and these guys did a great job. I moved to NY from Los Angeles and my allergies went nuts with the new plants, trees, climate, and environment. Went in, had a bunch of tests done, got a shot, got a prescription for a few meds and within a week I was much much better. After the initial few weeks of treatment, I was able to stop taking the meds all together. My insurance bill was bad with all the testing they did, but I was in the office for over an hour, they were very detailed with the testing, and explained all of my options. Spring is just around the corner and if my allergies make their triumphant return like they usually do, I will be coming back to these guys for help and assistance. Best allergist... scratch that. Best doctor I've ever been to. Dr H actually cares about you and the issues you are experiencing due to allergies. He goes above and beyond. He spends time with you, an appointment never feels rushed. The rest of his staff is incredibly friendly as well. Always accommodating when it comes to rescheduling etc. I started allergy shots this year so I'm in the office every week for the last few months. Dr. Hadjiev is a kind, curious, whip-smart and creative doctor that won't stop until you're feeling better. I am always impressed by his willingness to spend so much time with me answering all of my questions. I've never felt rushed or that my concerns and symptoms weren't thoughtfully considered before a diagnosis and treatment plan were recommended. If you are an active participant in your own healthcare you will be happy with Dr. Hadjiev's ability to consider your point of view and lifestyle in your treatment plan. He listens and won't make you feel bad for speaking up. If you think you are allergic to bad music, he'll find a nice way to tell you that's really not a thing. He also has a great sense of humor and bedside manner. If you like your doctor to be nice, he's a very nice guy. Last I'll mention billing. I noticed I'd been charged a larger amount than I'd expected for a previous appointment so I brought the bill with me to my next. I asked the front desk about this and they suggested I step into the hallway and call their billing department, before my appointment, so I could have peace of mind about the charges I'd be responsible for. I called and the billing manager was great. My questions were answered on the call and the issue was resolved right in there in the hallway while my appointment waited on me. She told me no problem, it's what Dr. Hadjeiv would want. Dr. H: You're allergic to dogs and cats and...(I'll spare you the rest) Me: What? But I really want a dog (crestfallen). Dr. H: Ok! If you are looking for a physician who is Karen, actually listens, and doesn't just send you out the door with the instructions then this is the place you want to be. I have a unique perspective on this office as a patient as well as A work perspective. When you visit dozens of physicians offices a week for 18 years you see how some positions just give you some information and walk to the next patient's room, but not here. Doc not only gives you instructions and options, he walks you to the front and make sure you have all the information you need from phone numbers, samples, or any other pertinent information. Super friendly and you feel as if you're getting real attention to your needs at the time you're there as opposed to a doctor just running to the next patient. As a patient I'm always treated so nicely by the girls in the front and a great bedside manner from doc. It feels like a personal interest is taken as opposed to just being another patient and another number. read more

I have been dealing with seasonal allergies since childhood. For the longest time I've been able to manage through the spring and summer months with OTC meds, but last allergy season was really bad for me, and I needed some professional help. I found Dr. Hadjiev (aka Dr. Sneeze) on Yelp, of course, and he gave me some prescriptions that helped provide instant relief. He also placed me on immunization therapy which should make future allergy seasons a lot more tolerable for me. Dr. Hadjiev is definitely the best allergist I've been to. Not only is he knowledgeable, he is very thorough and does not "rush" the visit. He's also very friendly (along with his staff), and even speaks German, to include the Bavarian dialect, which can lead to some funny conversations. read more

Best doctors office experience I've ever had. Dr. Hadijev is friendly, attentive, and funny (!), and his staff is wonderful. My appointments always begin on time, which is rare, yet he somehow manages to spend time with each of his patients. Went in because I wasn't feeling well and walked out in a great mood, thanks doc! I absolutely love Dr Hadjiev. He is the best doctor I've ever seen. I've previously seen an ENT and he could not diagnose my breathing/sinus problems but Dr Hadjiev figured it out for me and now I can finally breathe! Dr Hadjiev is patient and respectful. Dr. Hadjiev has spent almost 30 minutes *with* me (not making me wait, but attending to me in his examining room) the two times I have visited this office. Older, busier and lazier doctors don't give patients this kind of service. Dr. Hadjiev, however, looks young (I think he's 35ish) and seems to be building up a new, part time private practice by being an extremely thorough physician. And it seems to me he is well on his way to being successful because his waiting room is full, and here I am writing about him. Background: I went to Dr. Hadjiev for asthma, which I have only recently developed, and he treated me successfully. He, however, also wanted me to come back for an allergy checkup to see if there were any other triggers for my asthma besides the ones I have noticed (cold + exercise). I've never thought much of allergies - isn't one constantly congested in New York? - but came back anyway. So on my 2nd visit, Dr. Hadjiev did an involved allergy test and the results pointed to multiple seasonal allergens. I now have a prescription that will supposedly help me with a problem I thought I simply must put up with during the spring. In this day of modern medicine, I'm not sure why I felt that way. Perhaps it's the stoic New Yorker in me ... anyway ... While Dr. H is a little quirky (can't put my finger on what it is about him but there's something kind of atypical about his manner for a doctor; maybe it's just that he seems more laid-back than typical MDs), he's a really friendly, intelligent guy who obviously knows what he's doing. He clearly likes helping make people better. And while his office could use an update on magazine supplies and overall decor, his receptionist is super cheery and helpful, and visiting this office is all in all a positive experience. To sum it up: I've already recommended Dr. Hadjiev to friends, and if you're like me, wondering where to go for allergies or asthma, in the spirit of well-intentioned anonymous internet reviews, I obviously highly recommend him to you, dear readers, as well. read more

This man has completely changed my quality of life. Before seeing him, I felt miserably sick all of the time. I thought I was becoming a sickly weak person with no immune system... but it turns out I have allergies... and bad ones (cats, grass, pollen). He put me on a simple daily regimen and now has me on shots, which I anticipate improving my situation rather substantially (it's already taken off the edge). Dr. Hadjiev is as good as advertised. He is caring , has a great bedside manner, and is creative. He really tries to help , asks questions and listens to your issues. I am a difficult case , so far I haven't gotten better , but Dr. H has really been very diligent in his efforts to resolve a nasty bacterial infection . My whole family has been to him, he likes and is very good with scared young children. I recommend him with the highest regards. Dr. Hadjiev is such a rare find for a doctor. From the moment I stepped into his office, I felt well taken care of and listened to. He took the time to think investigate deeply and for once in my life, I didn't feel rushed out of an appointment. While we weren't able to find out why I had an allergic reaction completely (even though we looked far and wide for all possibilities), Dr. Hadjiev did prepare me on how to handle the reaction next time. Dr. Hadjiev is a great doctor. I agree with the other reviews that speak to his patience and knowledge; he also has way more personality than most doctors I know. I went to him twice last year with some nasal/respiratory problems. He tested me for a number of different things and then gave me a daily regimen to relieve the allergies that were causing problems. I was left without an Allergist when my doctor suddenly died. I was very concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a new doctor who understood my individual needs and would drastically change the course of treatment that had been working for me. I found Dr. Hadjiev by accident on the Internet and when I saw his address was in the same building as my "old" doctor I took this as a good thing! Upon meeting him, I immediately realized I made the right choice. He listened to my concerns, reviewed my medical history, we spoke about "what was working" for me and he had no reservations about continuing the course of treatment. He was kind and made me feel very comfortable. He listened!!! He brought me up to date on my shots (based on my medical records which I provided) since it had been awhile since I had them, and will "re-test" me on my next visit just to make sure I'm up to date on my meds. While I do miss my doctor of over 10 years I do feel I made the right choice with Dr. Hadjiev. read more

Dr. Hadijev is one of the best Ear, Nose and Throat specialists that I have ever been to, and with my allergies, I have been to a lot.  He is very professional, has a great rapport with all patients, he explains everything is attentive and friendly and creates a great atmosphere.  His whole staff is professional and just top notch amazing.   They put patient's need primary to the point that they have charging outlets in all of the exam rooms and in the waiting room so you can charge your phone while you are waiting.  They also work very hard to keep all appointments on schedule so that no one is waiting an exorbitant amount of time which is a huge thing for a physician office of any kind.    His staff takes care of my insurance claim forms each and every time so I never ever have a problem with my insurance - the team is just professional and flawless. Dr. Hadjiev is easily the most brilliant allergist I've ever seen (and I've been treated/had my cases consulted on by entire departments in the past). He's extremely knowledgable about the mechanisms at play and doesn't just send prescriptions off without having a thorough discussion about the medication's uses, risks, side effects, and how it works. We've discussed everything from allergy medications, genetically modified cats, history, luxury watches, tea, skincare and business. He treats some particularly difficult cases of allergies (including my own) with creative genius. His office is clean and easily accessible in Manhattan, and his staff are professional and courteous. He's given me more than just medication: lifestyle changes, home remedies, suggestions for modifications to my home (e.g. replacing carpet with hardwood) and electronic devices I can purchase to help mitigate my symptoms and they've all contributed to me feeling better. I went here based on the positive yelp reviews, and boy am I glad that I did. I have horrid allergies, nothing seems to help. I tried the drops but they didnt work. So I finally decided to take the plunge and get shots (mind you I am terrified of needles). If you are wary of getting shots every week you shouldn't be if you come here. Dr.Hadjiev makes you feel so at ease along with everyone in the office. Most doctors make me feel like a moron for being afraid of needles and seem to have no patience, but that was the complete opposite here. Now I've been getting shots every week for a few months and I am totally not afraid. There is never a long wait to see the doctor and its easy in and out, no stress. I love this place. read more

I went around looking for an Allergist that could help me see if I'm allergic to a medicine before taking it. I came across this Yelp post and saw the great reviews and had to check it out for myself. I called and Dr. Hadjiev was really nice and said he'll see me right away. I went in and there was no rush service at all, he took his time asking questions and seeing what could and is affecting my health. He gave me a few prescriptions which worked immediately to my surprise. I thought it would at least take a few days to take effect. As for the follow up appointments, Wednesday are his late night which is great for folks that work and don't get out until about 5:00-6:00pm. It seems that most folks go in there for a quick allergy shot and then move on their way. The others who are there for a follow-up will wait perhaps 20-30 minutes or more if it's super busy. I really recommend him to anybody who is having some sort of problem when it's breathing related, whether it be allergies, asthma, and such. read more
