When I started having pain spread to my upper back/scapula/shoulder it was strongly suggested to go see Dr. Lee. I am so glad I did- best decision I've made for my health. I went in hoping to find a good injection doc for chronic back and neck pain and left in tears after 4 visits. During the last visit, he burst into the exam room and said " so you didn't finish your meds, huh?" I told him I had to stop steroids on day 5 because I had a bad reaction. I continued to ask him questions and explain how my pain had predictably come back. He then spent the rest of the visit yelling at me and interrupting every sentence. I barely got to finish any sentence I began. He said he had already explained that I didn't have pinched nerves ( which conflicted with my MRI report) I broke down in tears, but that didn't stop the yelling. He just started talking directly to my husband. My husband was shocked at his behavior. He did give me injection options and sent us home with literature - but honestly I never want to be in the same room as this man again My husband and I have no clue what I did to set him off. All I can say is - If you're in pain and feeling vulnerable - stay away!

After being placed on hold for quite awhile, they found my referral and said that I needed to be assigned to a provider and will be called back in 24 hours to schedule appointment. No call back, so I called to follow up today 9/11 and was told they couldn't find my referral again. Gave my info then the receptionist rudely asked if I had seen pain management before, which I replied, yes for my back. She said I need to submit my records for any pain management because the doctor needs to review and approve me before I can get an appointment. I said they need this even though it's for another part of my body? She said it doesn't matter, they need to see everything. At this point, I was so frustrated because she never confirmed she found my approval and added a new hoop to jump through to see if I will even be "approved" to get an appointment for a consultation. This is absolutely ridiculous and I just said thank you and hung up. Good luck getting past the front office to even get a consultation!

I've tried various PTs through my insurance, but this is the first time I invested in PT out of…read morepocket, and it was absolutely worth it. I felt like my body was twisted and unbalanced, but the PTs covered by my insurance weren't able to help me until the issue I had been expressing eventually led to a severe injury where I couldn't walk for about five days. The PTs would give me exercises that I could have easily found through ChatGPT or a simple Google search, and then send me to an aide. When I had questions, the aides often didn't know the answers. They gave me A LOT of at home exercises, almost a quantity over quality, hoping one works. Then I found Dr. Gary! He is very different from a typical PT. He listens carefully to all of my issues (pain and discomfort seemingly everywhere. I'm sure I sound like a hypochondriac ), and then gives me some really odd exercises that I would never have found on my own. Somehow, I always feel better afterward. He goes all the way down to the basics, even teaching me how to breathe to properly engage my core, when to breathe during an exercise, and exactly where I should be feeling each movement. It's not just "here are some exercises, go do them." He makes sure I understand why I'm doing them and what I should be feeling. He also consistently remembers to send me my homework, often with videos. With the other PTs I tried, I had to repeatedly hunt them down to get my exercises, so I ended up having to rely on memory. Dr. Gary also responds to my questions between sessions if I'm unsure about an exercise, which has been incredibly helpful in making sure I'm doing things correctly. What I appreciate most is how much he genuinely cares about learning and thinking critically. I can tell he is constantly processing what he's seeing and what I'm telling him during our sessions and trying to figure out the root cause of what's going on. He tests and retests his hypotheses until my body gives him feedback that he's on the right track. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Gary and the care he puts into his work. If you're dealing with something that feels "off" in your body, I truly believe your health is worth the investment. Don't wait until the problem becomes a serious injury like I did because of the limitations of the insurance system. Take the chance! you may be surprised by how much the right PT can help. I came to LPI because I needed a place that could actually help me continue my recovery from my ACL…read moresurgery and my medial and lateral meniscus repairs. I had been going to another PT clinic where I wasn't progressing at all I was always in pain, never getting stronger, and honestly felt stuck, and defeated. That's when I met Dr. Gary. I was stressed, sad, and didn't know where to go next. I felt so far behind in my recovery, but he made sure I knew I wasn't behind and that recovery doesn't have a set timeline. His focus was helping me feel confident again after surgery and learning to trust the process. I had knee pain every time I lunged, and my previous PT basically told me that pain was "normal". However when I told Dr. Gary about it, he actually listened, ran tests, and figured out it was scar tissue buildup. He gave me exercises to help with the pain and slowly rebuild my strength. Every session I have with Dr. Gary he genuinely cares about fixing the problem instead of ignoring it. What I really appreciate is how intentional he is. Any question I had about movements, exercises, or even basic anatomy he explained everything clearly and never made me feel dumb. He made sure I understood why we were doing certain exercises and how they would help me long‑term as I worked to regain my strength. Dr. Gary is extremely intentional with his clients. He makes sure we're seen and heard, and he creates a welcoming environment where I'm not afraid to ask questions. He genuinely wants his clients to gain confidence, and he's helped me so much as I return to sport after my second ACL and meniscus repair. That doctor refused to even try trigger point injections and immediately pushed me toward an epidural. I didn't really want one, but I was desperate for relief at the time, so I went through with it. The very first thing Dr. Nini said when he examined me was that he wanted to try trigger point injections first before considering any epidural treatment. That instantly told me he was actually listening to my concerns instead of rushing me into procedures. I received the trigger point injections today and already feel hopeful again. Awesome pain management doctor, excellent staff, and still someone who genuinely tries to help his patients instead of taking the "one size fits all" approach. Highly recommended.
