I've primarily been working with Cristian with my physical therapy, but everyone I've encountered has been very nice. I'm honestly always impressed that the team assigned to you all checks in with you throughout the appointment. Cristian has me on a regime to strengthen my hips and add mobility to my movements and so far I've been feeling better. My insurance recommended me to PT and I ultimately got to choose this location that was a shorter commute for me and I'm glad I got came here. I have been going here a while now. Dr Koshi is fantastic. His staff is fantastic with one exception. The woman who handles schedules (Tina) is the most smug, rude woman that I'm amazed still has a job. Apparently, the doctors don't have any say in her employment as it's the group manager that has this power. Not sure if I'll be going back. CRPM, Especially Elizabeth Keliiholokai, P.A. has taken care of my Chronic Pain issues with various treatments since 2016, when Kaiser decided to reduce patient's meds so rapidly, many people became gravely I'll, and with the VA, cessation was so abrupt, was an uptick in vet's suicides. I have been going to CRPM for a number of years now and they have been a Great help to dealing with my 24-7 pain. I have a number of chronic health issues that are a part of my life, and with out the care of the team at CRPM I would not be able to have a normal life. the office staff are very kind and helpful, and Elizabeth and Dr.Koshi who I see most, I can't say enough good things about. they really do have compassion for there patience thank you all. and if you are on the fence about going to them, get off and go you won't regret it. I was injured from a car accident and was referred to Dr. Lai by my chiropractor. This was a scary process and I knew I had to do it, but was anxious on getting expensive treatment done for it to not work in the end. I was rear-ended on the freeway and the accident totaled my car. Getting into a car accident is very expensive, even if you have insurance, so I had to be careful on what treatments to get and when.  I felt very well taken care of by Dr. Lai and Rosalie, they answered all of my questions and I was reassured to hear their suggestions and explanations for the pain I was in and how the treatment could help me. The pain was so bad that I couldn't work, I lost my job, and even about 2 months after my accident, I couldn't focus and work continuously without taking breaks. If I over did it, I would have to lie down and rest for at least an hour to get my body to relax from the bad tension. No boss would allow you to lie down for an hour at work! Without going into the details, when I did get my treatment it took about 4 weeks to feel a real improvement. It was still another 8 weeks to really get into working full time again, but I had to make lifestyle changes and I avoided certain types of work that would aggravate my injury. Dr. Lai also gave me great suggestions on self-treating my injury and it does help. My injury is common but difficult to treat (bc of lifestyle) and I still experience mild pain if I overdo it, but it's not nearly as bad as before. read more

I suffered for over 6 years until I met Dr A.Lai and Rosalie. I had a quick introduction to being a 90yr old (in my 30s with multiple areas of injuries). Walking, standing, and sitting long brought more pain. I saw over 5 orthos, 8 chiros, 2 acupuncturist, 6 PTs, 9 primary doctors and 3 epidurals. Some injury required surgery, but many were too minor to perform surgery until I got older or too difficult to diagnose except for clinical assessment. I lived with 24/7 pain @a level 7-9 for 2.5 yrs. The constant nerve pain felt like someone pressing on a toothache and never letting go. This pain didn't go down and stayed at a 7-8 level for over 6 yrs with PT, chiro, acupuncture, epidurals, muscle relaxers, and pain meds. When I got the first PRP injection, I felt strength within 2 days. The pain suddenly subsided that I wasn't sure it was real at first. I was afraid to hurt myself again for fear of the 24/7 pain returning. Where I didn't get a shot, I felt the pain calling for my attention that I needed shots for those areas. During my 2nd round of shots, I confirmed that the PRP injections helped me where epidurals/pain meds with PT/chiro failed. I wish I knew about this option during the 1st year of my injury. With less pain, my spirits lifted and brought back my freedom of movement. I'm forever grateful to this clinic and the staff. This is the new medicine with massage/chiro. If you are NOT a drug seeker and want to feel less pain, this is the place to seek help. Instead of surgery, I would attempt the repair before cutting away any material in your body. It may give the strength needed to help the surrounding muscles move again. The doctor, staff and nurses have been wonderful. Like epidurals, the PRP injections are precisely done under xray in a controlled environment. Nurses watch and care for you before and after the procedure. My shots are mainly at Journey Surgery. MRIs and Xrays provides a data point (that my body already tells me) but these data points doesn't take the pain away. PRP injections allows the body to repair itself without the side effects of drugs (epidurals/pain medicine). Also,injuries like SI joint pain won't show on MRIs/Xrays and are only confirmed when that needle hits the spot. The pain ONLY subsides after the PRP shot (ACTION/Resolution). Whereas, pain doesn't go away w/ a consultation from an ortho or MRI. They are just a information/data point w/ NO action. If you have pain, do you really need another data point (with COST) to tell you what you already feel for years? read more

I have been seeing Roxanne the entire time and her expertise and kindness have changed my life. She has been a great support to me not only in pain relief but in my emotional health as well. I would definitely recommend this clinic. I really am so happy and satisfied with my visit. Everyone there is so professional, it was very professional to find me a quick appointment when I explained how bad my back hurt and I needed an appointment ASAP. The clinic was much better two years ago.... over the last two years the staff has changed, the scheduling has gotten lax and one of the best Dr is going to be leaving... I have been a patient at CRPM for almost a year now. After 3 bouts with leukemia, 2 transplants, full body radiation treatment, 3 years of chemotherapy and a several week coma due to contracting meningitis, I was seeking relief for my foot neuropathy and nagging pain throughout my body. Thankfully, I had a chance meeting with someone who referred me to CRPM. After completing 2 rounds of neuropathy treatment, my feet are feeling much better. The discomfort is noticeably less and I am not constantly annoyed by the cramped feeling in the toe area of my feet. Ahmed, Roxanne and Suzanne were incredible to work with during my neuropathy sessions. A couple of months ago, I started a stem cell & PRP program in order to regain movement in my right elbow. It has been very stiff and painful due to an avascular necrosis diagnosis. Dr. Lai has been exceptional to work with. He is very knowledgeable about the diagnosis and the procedures to treat it. He is very concerned with the patient's well-being and truly cares about the end result. I am so appreciative of his efforts in non-surgical treatment of my mobility issues. In addition, Dr. Lai has also provided me with some alternative treatment that has enabled me to get off opiates (fentanyl & Percocet) that I was using for pain management prior to my treatment at CRPM. I would also like to thank Geoff who made all of this possible for me at CRPM. Without his caring personality, none of this would have been possible for me. As per the recommendation of my spine doctor, I went to CRPM for a cervical epidural steroid injection a couple months ago, the whole procedure took less than 15 minutes. I received a worksheet, noting that my co-payment was $75, which I paid on the spot. Now two months later, I've received a bill for $20,200 for "xray services" and another bill for $4,200 for "surgical technician fees". Also, there is a third bill for "doctor's fees" $2,000. I'm not sure what kindof scam is going on here.... I'm told these services are covered by my insurance and then receive $26K in bills for a 15 minute procedure. I'd suggest steering clear of this place! read more

I am so impressed with Dr. Lee! He was so professional and personable and friendly. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, showed me what was going on with the abnormalities in my back using the fluoroscope (which no one has ever done!), and made the entire experience as positive as it could possibly be! Dr Lee and his staff earn my highest praise and the atmosphere in their office was comfortable and professional. He even came out and talked with my husband afterwards! He is a superb doctor in my eyes, and I loved the classical music playing during my procedure. Nice touch! I saw Dr Lee a few days ago after throwing out my back very badly I could barely even walk. Wow, that was the most painful car ride I've ever experienced. But i knew that I'd be out of commission for several days or even weeks, so I sucked it up. well kind of.. I must admit that I was screaming and nearly crying in pain. My wife even felt sorry for me! Haha. I actually went to Dr Lee due to an extremely glowing recommendation from a colleague. I'm really glad that I did. Dr Lee was so deft in his technique. I only wish that Dr Lee placed an epidural for my wife rather than that clumsy and rude anesthesiologist. Further still, his bedside manner was impeccable. He explained everything so well; before during and after the procedure. I think bedside manner is important in all fields of medicine. But for a pain specialist, I consider it imperative. I'm sure all pain doctors see many of the same things over and over, so I can almost understand when so many become calloused. But I could really feel genuine care when I was complaining like a 41 year old baby. So, I'm really glad to have received my care from Dr David Lee. He is a true physician and healer. After 2 PRP injections in my left AC joint, I can do a painfree push up and lift my arm above my head. I was always afraid of injections thinking it was a huge procedure but it was nearly pain-free with a local shot to numb and then procedure was done with efficiency in the surgery center under fluoroscopy. I felt instant relief both times and the second shot continued to help for the next few weeks to now where I feel 95% fixed. Dr. Lee is a true testament to good medicine and fantastic patient care practices. I needed nerve reaction testing done to rule out carpal tunnel in my wrist, and Dr. Lee ran the electrode and needle testing with such professionalism and grace that I was shocked by his exceedingly kind bedside manner. He walked me through the entire process, explaining what he was doing and why, and he gave me ample warning before the shocks. His thorough description throughout the testing made it much less intimidating and a lot easier to understand, since I haven't found a proper diagnosis for my wrist pain and knowing what's going on is key for me. He conclusively told me that, even without extensive study of the results, my nerves are healthy and firing quickly, which eliminated carpal tunnel on the spot and helped to continue guiding me toward an eventual diagnosis (it now appears to be tendonitis, which he also happily talked to me about despite being a nerve expert--that extra step was wonderful). I was so impressed with how sociable and contentious he was, having never experienced that kind of doctor before now (sadly). Overall, I don't foresee a need to come here again unless I'm injured, so I'll say that I don't hope to be back!! But my visit was expedient and relaxed, so if you're looking for a pain specialist who is clear, friendly, and informative, Dr. Lee's office is the place to go for your pain needs. read more

I'm an RN so that comes with repetitive lifting, pulling, cleaning patients. This takes a toll on the body even with proper body mechanics. I went to Dr. Lee for an assessment and evaluation for my severe neck and back pain. He planned out a treatment process fitting to my needs; I do not like taking pain meds and really don't want to start any type of dependency on them. Pain is real and it is subjective but man oh man, in my line of work, you see the people who KNOW how to work the system or try to go from different hospital to clinic to get more pain meds. My recent visit to see Dr. Lee I actually overhead someone tell staff "If you don't give me meds, I'll leave a bad review!" It's disgusting. These are the same type of people who come to overcrowd the ER with their need to get a Methadone refill and scream and yell at staff for pain meds while your loved one is actually having a true emergency (stroke, cardiac arrest, etc). Anyways, with Dr. Lee's help, I was able to get back on track, no longer on modified duty at work and continue with my bootcamp workouts. Dr. Lee and his staff were very helpful and answered all my questions. I will definitely be returning if I have any other pain issues. This office, in Placentia, and as far as I know, the other FIVE offices, are practically inaccessible by phone. The receptionist even tried to call the number herself as I watched and she was unable to get anything other than a recording. She said she'd let the administrators know. As far as I can tell nothing has changed. The contrast between the attentive care given by the doctors and P.A.s I've seen at this location, and the impersonal, profit driven, profile of the administration is shocking. As much as I appreciate the quality of care I receive during my monthly appointments, I would NEVER recommend this medical group to anyone. After rereading this review, I think it's too harsh. The doctors are so kind and wonderful "they "don't deserve to be associated with this review. It's all about the management and not the doctors, PAs, and front office. read more

Recently was helped by Dr. Lee. My mother had slipped and fell- was limping on left leg and was in extreme pain. Dr. Lee was very patient as he listen to her, asked questions regarding each area of her body and pain level. Past pain doc had systematically asked questions, gave injection and left but Dr. Lee was caring, warm, and was sympathetic to my mother who is old and not very pain tolerant! We are so so grateful that we got to find Dr. Lee! My mother was in a lot of pain- but after speaking with Dr. Lee about how to better care for her hip and leg pain, followed by an injection (which he was super patient and kind about with my mother who is not good with shots), she has recovered extremely well. Never heard a complain about hip/leg pain ever since. For any pain management, highly recommend seeing Dr. Lee! read more

When I first saw the docs i thought they looked too young to take my low back pain seriously. I saw Dr. Lai then Dr. Daniels. They examined me more than the ortho spine guy did and spent more time listening to my concerns than i realized. They never made me feel like this was the end of the road. The options I was given were many and rather cutting-edge (I researched online). And when you're in chronic pain the least you can ask for is hope. And if there is no hope then your next fear is abandonment. They promised to see me through this tough period of my life rather than 'judge me.' The PA's are also excellent and have the same philosophy as i about treating my pain and guiding me to be a 'patient' patient:) You won't be disappointed. The owner Dr. lai runs all of these facilities. I attended the one in Placentia and then transferred to the Orange office hoping to find a more efficient/pleasant office with a shorter waiting time than one hour. I was hoping for new doctors that might have new ideas to help me. I had been with this medical provider 12 years and still hadn't achieved relief. Well changing offices did zero good. Dr. lai, The owner,became my new Doctor after Dr. Ahmed quit on the spot and walked out. He'd had it with CRMP. They had Me on every concoction of drugs you can think of. I detoxed myself when I thought I was way overmedicated. Everyone better be careful about trusting your pain to these offices. It wasn't until I found out I actually can see a different pain doctor, "elite pain", that I found CRMP HAD NOT been treating me properly at all. Elite pain is on first Street, have a course of action that is helping me achieve less pain. In three months I have received more help in the past 12 years. As a consumer I like to continually to review the places I have the need to frequent to get the prospective of others. When I read a bad or poor review by someone I view their other reviews they have posted to gauge if they have given good and poor reviews or do they only Yelp when they are unhappy. Dr. Lee is also my doctor. I have always been treated with respect and dignity at his office by him and his staff. There are rules that you have to follow as a patient being seen by every medical office. I too had to sign a contract agreeing that I would not get any pain medications from other doctors. I really hate it when people blame others for their problems when in fact they are the cause of them. That Scott B. had a bad experience at the MRI facility and another office's doctor "misdiagnosed" his shoulder problem is not the fault of Dr. Lee or his staff. That this person was late for his appointment was not the staffs fault. Looks to me like when he was ask about the medication he received from another doctor he tried to cover it up to Dr. Lee's staff about that too. If you look at this persons other reviews they are all negative and no one can make him happy! Bottom line CRPM is a great office and I will continue to refer my friends and family to them. read more

The doctors and nurses here are fantastic. I am always greeted with a friendly smile. The only negative is that if you need a refill it can take 3-4 days. And even then you have to call several times or they just don't do it. Very frustrating.
