I brought the phone into the store on Labor Day, was greeted by Robert who confirmed the on line price quote to be valid. He said the phone would require 3 days for the repair as 1) it needed to have the charging port soldered and since it was labor day, and the technician who does that part of the repair was not available, work would not begin until next business day. Robert did say he would try. To my complete surprise the phone was ready in two days. Robert emailed me and also left a message for me on my land line. When discussing the phone repair on this phone and chatting about some other repairs I need done on other equipment, what I especially liked about Robert is that he said 'if I can't fix it, I will tell you'. I liked everything about doing business with Sheepshead Bay Wireless and oh... I did not mention... The price was very reasonable and before coming to SHBW I had been to two other shops where they told me they would not do the repair needed. They said the phone was to old to change the charging port and tried to move me in the direction of purchasing a new phone. Robert did not even lean toward that route. He said he could fix it and he did.

But the fun doesn't stop there. I've gone into this place a number of times looking for specific items - headphones, a game, electronics of some kind, whatever - and not only was I not greeted when I walked in (even when I was the only customer in the store), but I was ignored even when I asked for assistance. Sorry guys, but that kind of behavior toward your patrons does NOT promote future business. Avoid when possible, unless you don't mind jumping up and down and yelling for attention while the guys behind the counter are busy texting on their cellphones.

The first time I walked in I was greeted by Vlad, a very intelligent young man who showed me how I was getting over charged by Sprint. They transferred me over to Tmobile and I'm paying $50 dollars less than what I was paying with Sprint. While Vlad was helping me the owner came by, gave me a free case and even got me a bottle of water while I was waiting. I was having a problem with my bluetooth headset and the tech took a look and fixed it free of charge. Saved me $100 dollars because I was about to purchase a new pair at the store. These guys are great! Everytime I pass by when I walk to the train they always greet me with a smile and shake my hand. There isn't really anything like that anymore. You guys are awesome! I love this store, its on the corner of brighton 7th, the q and brain trains go there it is so…read moreconvenient when you walk in there are lounge seats for the waiting area if there is a long line, there is at least 5 sales reps available so the line moves quick I decided to switch to t mobile from sprint because tmobile has great service, no interest on the installment plan from month to month, no contract either, and data stash when you trade in your phone, you can get credit towards your new phone, yuriy was able to get me 65 dollars for my iphone which made a difference I didnt come with all the information I needed from my sprint contract, so he was nice enough to call the account holder to get me all the info I needed, yuriy is patient and does all the dirty work for you, even if it means yelling at your ex lol he was able to answer my five million questions, he explained how the plan works, what I owe upfront and what I owe in the future for the next few months, within 4-5 months I can have my phone paid off he also gave me some tips, such as using insurance to upgrade to a newer model for a decent fee he also gave me great advice on what accessories to buy, especially since im clumsy and tend to break stuff quick, he was able to find me a case that was tough and had a screen protector come with it, and being a perfectionist like me he applied the cover and case for me with no problems, who wants air bubbles anyway? he explained how I can get reimbursed for the termination fee with sprint you can just bring in the bill and they will mail you a debit card with $$ to use for whatever you want I also like how he wasn't in a rush to help me, he spent over an hour with me showing me how to get any questions answered in the future with tmobile whether its by dialing 611 or going on the website the look of the store was great too, its huge with sections for accessories, iphones, Samsung phones, very well organized I cant wait to refer the rest of family here, the prices are great, the service is great, and the customer service is fantastic, I had 0 problems thus far.
