I came to this place twice and I love how they handle customer service and support. The first time I came to this store I was hoping that they can fix the camera on my phone and this was the second store of the day and the first store was more focused on a down payment than taking the time to figure out what was going on with my phone. I came across Geek Shop and decided to give them a try. Stan was really nice and patient with me since I was annoyed with personal reasons. He told me before a down payment he would like to open the phone and see if the issue is fixable before anything so give him 15 to 20 mins. I was taken back because most places ask for a down payment before even knowing if the issue is fixable. Unfortunately my camera couldn't be fixed which understandably is fine. He also gave me some phone advice since I had my phone for 4 years now love it. The second visit I met Tim at the store and he was really nice as well and knew what he was doing. My phone fell and the screen was black and I wanted to know how much it would be the repair of a phone screen and before thing he told me the two prices by quality of screen but before anything he believes probably the fall disconnected a wire from the screen and to give him 5 to15 mins. I stepped out and came back in 25 mins and it was back to normal as he detected a wire was detached, and he fixed it with no problem. I love this place and will definitely come back to this place because they are very trustworthy with customer's tech valuable.

They blamed ME for having the smudge me. Please check other places first and see their options/process. Also please read negative reviews first as well. SO furious and scam artists. "Bring car in to change the oil and now gotta get a new engine". The manager, dirt bag DGAF. Don't get fooled. 100% scam. Same owners, two stores. Came in around noon on Thursday to repair a 1st Generation iPad mini and was told the repair wouldn't be done in an hour but until the next day. I accepted. The next day(Friday) I never got a call about it being ready. I went back Saturday around noon to be told it still wasn't repaired. When I asked for it back to go elsewhere, my iPad mini wasn't in the store to get it back. SOL. The red haired girl told me to come back later the evening when Jesse gets in.She then called me later that evening to let me know it was ready. Once I got there I explained nicely to the other worker Jesse how I was inconvenienced by two days for an hour repair. Jesse said he can only compensate me with an apology and that he was swamped with devices. He also stated that I should've stressed to the red haired girl why I needed the iPad ready by the following day. By then, I told him I am not paying him $80 for his issues but I'll pay him $60. He got upset picked up my money that I placed on the counter along with a phone and attempted to throw it at me. I asked him to please let me out of the store which he was hesitant about. For the terrible service and attempt to lock me in the store, I still paid them $70. Don't even come here if you're desperate. Spend your money elsewhere.

I get a call from the guy here who said the ipad was charged up and the crack actually caused a black spot on the screen. If I wanted this fixed it's an extra $75. I told him no, dont fix it and I'll see what he's talking about when I pick it up. Went the next day to pick up and saw the round black spot. I told him this was not there when it fell. Again, he said nothing. I told him how did the black spot appear and he said from the drop. Um, no thats not the case and I told him this wasn't there. Again, he said nothing. Once I got home my husband was very upset and called the location. He spoke to the guy and told him this was a crappy job he did and asked how the spot appeared. He actually told my husband the spot got worse after he opened the ipad to fix it. Clearly the spot appeared after you attempted to fix the glass. Why should we pay to fix your mistake????!!!! He never offered to fix his mess. What kind of customer service do you provide? None apparently. We actually thought bringing my device here was a mistake and we shouldve went to kings plaza mall and had the kiosk people fix it or even my neighborhood guy who does good work with apple products. I went to two repair shops before contacting SBW and they both did not want to do the repair for me on a 2018 LG android phone. It needed a new port for the charging cable and that new port needs to be soldered into the phone given the make, model and year of the phone. I contacted Sheepshead Bay Wireless through their yelp listing and there was an option to complete a questionnaire and describe the work you are looking for and they will get back to you with a price quote. I did this form at 3:00 am on Labor Day, Sept 1st. Given it was a holiday, I was surprised that within a few hours they sent me back a price quote and it sounded very fair and reasonable. This was for the labor, the part and a 'fresh battery'. From the on line quote, I decided to take my phone to Sheepshead Bay Wireless, and this was on Labor Day. Walked into the shop where Robert addressed me. He said the repair would take 3 days, normally 2 days, but with Labor Day essentially a non-working day, the repair would be completed on Thursday. I was not thrilled with this as I thought this was going to be a one day turnaround. And I said this to him and I also stated that 'well, maybe I will just buy/order a new phone from Verizon, instead of doing the repair. To this he replied rather tactfully, that getting a new phone will take at least 3 days to accomplish and that I had told him in the on line request for a repair quote, that I wanted to keep this phone (at least for the time being). He was right about both things. Starting up a new phone could be several days, could actually be more for me, as I had no clue as to where to begin the 'looking for a phone' project and yes, I did say that I wanted to keep this, my current phone. And YES, I decided at that moment to give him the phone and to say YES repair the phone. He said he would contact me when the phone was ready for pick up. Thought this time , I have purchased several sell phones, got my computers serviced, paid my bills, purchased a Russian TV service, and simply received a free and valuable advises on electronics. When I took it to apple, they said the entire back of the phone had to be replaced for ($299), which was well out of my price range. However, when I took it to iPhone Repair NYC (they should try to change their name to something that makes them more unique!), they matched the price of $45 that I had found elsewhere and was able to show them. Normally they said it was around $80 I believe, which I likely still would have paid if someone had recommended this spot because either way it was cheaper than Apple. In my case, I was just looking for as cheap as I could find with good reviews, and with the price match they met both of those criteria. I definitely appreciated it. One thing I didn't like was that they have a texting number/hotline, which is where we went over the price match. When I got there, they acted like they had no idea and I had to pull it up. I think this was just due to one person being on the phone and it not necessarily being the same person in the office, but this actually happened both times I went, and it's never fun to be startled after traveling to get to a location and think you've already wasted your time. However, in the end, they followed through and I'm glad I had it in writing. I got the glass of the lens replaced and it appeared to have been done well. Unfortunately, less than 4 months later it broke again, but when I reached out expressing my disappointment, they offered to fix it and only charge me for the part, not labor. Again, this was truly appreciated. The office itself is a TINY room, that was extremely dirty (there was food everywhere). However, since there was a waiting room, I didn't spend long in there. They have two locations not far from each other, one on the east side and one on the west. Both have wifi in the waiting room, which is helpful because you can bring a laptop and just hang out while they fix it. Their turnaround times are much faster than they've advertised in my experience, which is a pleasant surprise and I'm sure is sometimes more accurate, so I understand them giving people a longer estimate. Overall it was not a bad experience despite the few setbacks along the way!
