I went here with family for a birthday, and had a great time! Servers were so friendly, and the choice of beer on tap was great. I ordered a pizza and it turned out pretty great for a bar pizza! Lots of arcade games to enjoy like air hockey, big buck, skee ball, and golden tee. Two pool tables for those who play (I do not), and lots of televisions spread around for those who want to watch the game. I asked to change the channel on the tv I was closest too and the bartender just handed me the remote. Only downside was the amount of cig smoke that billows into the building from the front street even with the doors closed. It's an old building though. My family and I stopped in here for lunch one day because we were in town and my teenage niece doesn't eat anything but burgers. She's quite physically small for her age (14), but is clearly post-puberty, so she was a little offended when the waitress automatically threw a child's menu and crayons in front of her. The general consensus was that the food was completely non-stellar but not horrible. I ordered a salad that turned out to be little more than a platter full of iceberg lettuce and a few sad cherry tomatoes. Others stated that their food was fairly bland and sort of haphazardly assembled. There was also this faintly unpleasant smell in the restaurant, like a backed-up sink or old dishwater. This looked like it might be a great place to drink, but I can't really recommend it for lunch. read more

What can I say? The service goes from great to horrible with the change of the weather. The pizza is bomb though. Apart from a select few the front staff is abhorrent. This place only gets service because downtown Mount Vernon is dead. I wish there was a normal bar where the staff is friendly and helpful. Draft Pics is not the place. read more

This is the kind of place that screams sports bar. There are big screen tvs that are always turned to the big game and sports memorabilia covers every wall in the place. There is a full bar and they offer an average selection of beer on tap. The place gets hopping late at night when the other bars downtown close. The food is not bad and they offer decent lunch specials during the week. Draft Pic's is definitely the place to go in Mount Vernon for a few drinks after 10 any night of the week. read more

The bartender was absolutely awful. Wouldn't take an out of state ID for some reason( considering it's a tourist town). Also had a hard time with my girlfriends purse, apparently too big to be a purse? We just wanted to play a game of pool, but this bartender was not happy with us being there. Im embarrassed for this place to be so terrible, and you can't change horrible service. The bar was disgustingly sticky. The bartender was mind boggling rude. Ill never come to this garbage establishment ever again and will spread the word of a no go zone with this establishment. Absolute trash. My favorite hangout spot and I love everyone there. If you're a regular or even new to town, this is the place to be.

I love this place. The people are friendly, the bartenders are amazing and they treat you like family. This is such a fun environment with lots of stuff to do if you don't like sports, there is pool, foos ball, arcade games, etc. I've only been here 3 times for the games and the bartenders remember my drink & my name. The food is good, I like it. Even for breakfast, probably the best breakfast we have gotten since we moved to WA. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to watch any sport or just trying to hang out and meet some people. read more

I've been to this bar a few times over the years and recently met some friends there for Taco Tues...they've done some nice changes. New booths and seating. Service was quick and friendly. I wish these guys would do live music on the weekends...very few places in Skagit Valley to watch live music. read more

To start, if I want to get drunk I'll take down a fifth of whiskey. So now that you understand my tolerance you will see why not to go here. I bought 2 drinks for myself early on and played pool with the friends that I was with. when last call came about, I tried to buy one last drink (clearly not inebriated having spaced out 2 drinks over a few hours). The manager said I was cut off. I'm not sure how 2 drinks and a couple hours of pool gets you cut off but it gets worse. My friend goes to buy me a drink and some other random person that overheard the issue also buys me a drink. Shortly after the manager makes some sort of inspection round and rips my glass out of my hand and takes their drinks as well. When I asked what the problem was, he said, "there isn't a problem now." Well there actually was a problem because I would like my money back if he's just going to walk by my table and snatch my drink out of my hand. So much for a couple drinks and some pool with friends. Sahara Pizza on Riverside will offer the same environment with better hospitality and more food options with the same entertainment (it's more of a bar than it is a pizza place but they still deliver pizza and it's not half bad). Also try the Sports Keg on Burlington Blvd across the street from Costco. It's the same thing but different food options. You'll get better everything from those places. read more

What happens to the pizza?? My husband and I used to look forward to your pizza every time we took the ferry back from The San Juan Islands, but tonight it tasted and looked like frozen pizza. No. Actually frozen pizza is better. I realize we're not local and have no right to demand the delicious pizza you were making six months ago, but it's so depressing. Seattle pizza has always sucked but at least we had your pizza. Now we have nothing. We'll likely divorce from this travesty. read more

Husband and I went to this dive for the fourth time this year last night. First time great service and food. Each time returning service went down hill and last night was the worst. We ordered a chicken salad. The chicken was so rubbery we couldn't eat it. The pizza we had was over done, crust hard to eat. We each had a drink from the bar and were never asked if we wanted another. Our server never came around. We were the only ones in bar on the north side except a lady sitting in a corner booth who brought a half gallon of Vodca and was filling her water bottle with it. She also brought her own food, all which she was hiding under her coat. The server never went over there to ask if she wanted anything. Her beer glass was empty. We will never return. read more

I actually went out of my way to download Yelp just to review this place because the customer service was so bad. The bartenders had a weird agenda for locals so I would not recommend if you're traveling and not from here. I was holding a drink for my girl friend who was using the restroom and I had a bartender walk up to me and rip it out of my hands saying "hell no you're cut off". I have never been more confused in my life. Not only was I not drinking the drink, but that was already paid for by my friend. MAYBE that could be okay if we were doing something stupid but I was just standing there? Very confusing. The environment was very clique-y so good luck getting a drink unless you know someone else there. Also they refused to sell us food as well without stating a reason? All in all I had a terrible time at this place. If you're looking to get severely bullied then definitely come here. read more

Awesome find in downtown Mount Vernon. Was craving a beer and some good pub food and came across this local sports bar. The prime rib dip and burger we tried both were excellent, and they had a great beer selection too. Sports on the TVs - both a bar and restaurant area. Service was friendly + excellent. Drove 30min from bow hill to get food to go from this location and they wouldn't sell me it too go. Apparently they don't want my business. Over the last few years the customer service at this place sucks! I will continue to go elsewhere once again read more

My husband and I stopped in on our way back home from a weekend getaway. There was a Seahawks game on that we wanted to catch. It was fairly busy when we walked in but there was absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff that we were even there. I found a table and my husband still at the bar waiting to order drinks after about 5 to 7 minutes not one single waitress or the bartender taking his order he came to the table and said maybe this is a locals only bar and I said that's ridiculous there's no such thing as a locals only bar so we waited at the table for probably another 7 to 10 minutes before a very rude waitress came over. The waitress was like so do you want drinks or a menu or what we said we would like to order drinks and we would like a menu she acted as if this was just out of the realm of possibilities. She brought our drinks and after a little bit of food was brought by a different server who noticed that our drinks were empty and they had been for quite a while and so she asked if we would like another drink he said yes she was quite friendly and brought us another drink and that was the only service that we received the entire time that we were there my husband attempted to go to the bar and get the third round of drinks which we never got because the bartender was too busy laughing it up with the locals to wait on other paying customers. The burgers that we ordered or actually quite good but the service is absolutely lousy unless you're a local. I did make a review on their Facebook page however apparently unfavorable reviews are quickly removed by whoever manages their Facebook page and they have not attempted to contact me to find out any more to the story so I can only assume that they are absolutely a locals only bar. We definitely would not go back just based on how rude , unfriendly, and unattentive their staff is. read more

At first I never thought this place suited me , I was new in town and didn't know anyone at all . Now as I have spent a little time here in M.V. I can say that this place surprised me . Not like other establishments where you still in this era run into racist people(servers,customers)........ but not this one I quite enjoy being able to sit and enjoy adult time where I am comfy and the prices are not scary either. otherwise, a very good venue.. reasonable to good foods/drinks and prices.. with about 17 centralized TVs (good seats are very limited and "reserved" for Regulars even if they never show).. and specials/prizes when Hawks do ANYTHING well during the game.. like doing their job.. ha!! Scoring is the exception and far more exuberantly proclaimed in unison..for me.. too damn loud about any Team doing something that is expected of them.. especially the Take Away opportunities.. all of which is rejoiced so loudly that the neighborhood is aware! So, too bad.. such a small but, great bar/restaurant caters predominantly to one type of crowd...very LOUD and PROUD.. strange is Hawk Management dismantles the only Championship Team? Another failed business model or correcting mistakes? Great little bar.. not recommended for the meek, other Team fans, or sensitive hearing in a casual bar/restaurant environment. Bad language is a must.. and regardless of other exciting games - nfl.. the Main Screen and Audio only for the Hawks! How was that Rams game? haha! If Hawk Faith is so great.. shouldn't the specials/prizes be based on what the other team(s) can not during play against the Hawks? Go 12th man Cups and T-shirts.. blah blah blah.. wk10..the Jets and Steelers was far more interesting this week.. also, Cheifs and Bills, Dolphins and Lions, 9ers and Saints..but, oh no.. got to switch over to Hawks channel to see the warmups and pre-game crap! geez!
