When we asked the server she showed us the section for "rice bowls" saying the up-charge was shown there and insisted it was a $2 upcharge.. which was kind of deceiving. Despite its unassuming size, Dragon Den delivers a delightful dining experience. We ordered a variety of lunch combos, including Kung Pao Chicken, Garlic Chicken, and Sesame Chicken, accompanied by Hot and Sour Soup and spring rolls. This restaurant recently expanded and since then they've added sushi to the menu. The price was very reasonable ($6.99 for 2 rolls and $9.00 for special rolls). The sushi was very fresh and it was amazingly delicious!!!!!! The sushi chef Rudy was very friendly, he was patient and took the time to explain to me what each roll was. I told him what my friends and I liked and he even customized our own special rolls for us. Went well with their standard sweet dipping sauce. California roll tasted fresh, cucumbers were bright and flavorful along with the avocado. Steak was cooked properly and shrimp was plump and juicy. Vegetables in the hibachi were typical broccoli, zucchini, carrots and mushrooms packed separately from the fried rice. It came with a sauce similar to yum yum sauce for dipping the steak and shrimp into. The fried rice wasn't anything of note and barely had any egg but considering the price point for everything that's not a big deal.
