My husband and I have had the food over a dozen times now and after tonight's take out order, I just had to write a review. Will never spend our money here again. I ordered fan tail shrimp and large wonton soup. The shrimp still had the digestive tracts intact - all of them. GROSS. This is the 3rd time either my husband or I've ordered a shrimp dish and the "poop shoot" wasn't cleaned out. That's just laziness, lack of cleanliness and caring on the staff's part, plain and simple. At any rate it's just disgusting. The wonton soup...each "wonton" measured about 2" in diameter. However, when eating them I realized I tasted almost no filling. When pulling apart each wonton, I discovered every single one had filling the size of a pencil eraser! How cheap!!! Why even call it "wonton"'soup? My husband usually orders the General Tso's chicken. Occasionally it's well prepared with big chunks of white meat chicken. Most of the time, though, it's very heavily breaded, greasy, with inconsistent quality chicken. The 1 star is for the staff's friendliness. Everyone there, especially the delivery guys, are super nice. Not sure if there are better options in Delaware city limits for Chinese food as I'm new to the area. I am absolutely certain, however, that it's better to make the drive toward Polaris to get better quality, cleaner food from restauranteurs who actually care about what comes out of their kitchens. read more

Dragon House - Bug in my order of crab rangoon.. - Chinese Near Me - Delaware, Ohio

Dragon House is located in a strip mall on Route 23, and boasted a "Top 100 Chinese Restaurants" sign outside, which I assume is like being in the "Who's Who Among American High School Students". We arrived late on Sunday and while it was an hour before posted closing time, there was some hesitancy for them to seat us. Once we worked that out and ordered, we heard pronounced phlegm-coughing coming from the kitchen which was obviously not very appetizing. We were the only people there so maybe the staff was not too worried about ambiance. The food was decent enough but the overall experience was not very enjoyable. Maybe take-out next time. read more

This place has the best chinese food we have ever had. The restaurant has consistently delivered fast, fresh, and delicious chinese each time we have visited (at least every other week ;) We usually get egg rolls, crab rangoon, garlic chicken, and pork lo mein. My wife likes General Zsos and I like the Sesame Chicken, but I highly recommend! read more

I've actually had good service here. Many times the kids wait the tables and are always extremely polite. Just because the older ones may not speak good English doesn't make the rude. The food isn't bad. I've had better, but I've had far worse. And it is always fresh and tasty. I usually get fried rice and have plenty left for lunch the next day. read more

My Chinese restaurant of choice! LOVE their Crab Rangoon... they don't skimp on the filling, and always taste fresh. Their Lo Mein is tasty and if you have not tried their Chinese fried donuts- do so! I have never waited longer than 30 minutes for their delivery service and feel they are friendly people. They do have a dining area, but feel 90% of people do carry out and delivery. read more

I ordered sesame chicken and an order of Crab Rangoon for delivery. They arrived earlier than their quote time of 45mins. Everything was hot and yummy! Whatever sauce they put on the chicken is killer and they have my the best crab Rangoon's around! I'm not sure what they do to egg rolls , but they are sure a step above the rest I've tried in town. The rice was forgettable .. Pretty basic stuff that you'd get at a buffet or something. Also, their shrimp Lo mein is an old favorite of mine.. I used to order it every time went. Great and consistent Chinese food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good hot and sour soup.

Take out here is very good. I always get takeout for Chinese from here when I am craving it and I think they do a good jo of making the food and pricing is great as well. The food is common Chinese entrees but i fee like it tastes a whole lot more homemade instead of reheated and just a part of a large batch. The people who work here are nice as well and will make each entree according to what you would specifically like. read more

As far as Chinese goes, it was acceptable. The General Tso's was very mild despite asking for it to be extra spicy. I'm thinking it was a miscommunication and believe they thought I requested it to be mild. The fried rice with the meal was rather dry and I've definitely had better elsewhere. The egg rolls and the chicken lo mein was also acceptable but not the best I've ever had. Finally, the delivery was the fastest I've ever seen. I ordered, given a 45 minute delivery window, and had the food on the doorsteps within 20 minutes. I was shocked. Kudos on that. read more

Been ordering here for years. always great and lots of food for the money, my last order was nasty, it smelled like old lettuce and the flavor was not good. I always order pork Lomein and I know it does not have lettuce in it, but there was plenty of shriveled up pieces in mine. Had to throw it away it was that bad. I hate wasting food. One of the best take out Chinese food places I've ever experienced. I've always picked up my order and it was always ready and piping hot! The Crab Rangoon, egg rolls, General Tso's Chicken, etc have all tasted great! If you want Chinese food in Delaware I highly recommend Dragon House. read more

I cannot express how amazing this place is for chinese in Delaware. My go to dish is the dinner portion of general tso chicken w/fried rice, wonton soup, and crab rangoon. This is enough to feed two people two meals each. Delivered is under 20$ always on time and polite. This price is with delivery fee and soda I do believe. Anyways the food is flavorful and filling and on par for the price. Great service, great food, well priced....what more do you want? read more

They have the best crab rangoon Iv ever had. The best part is they deliver 15 minutes faster than promised almost every time.

We ordered sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice and dumplings. Everything that we received had little or no taste and also tasted freezer burned. The staff was nice and pleasant, however, the food was some of the worst Chinese food i have ever eaten. Maybe it was an off night for this place. I absolutely love this place the people are so nice. Even when they deliver their food is so amazing for the price. yes I could be better but for the price you can't beat it. Couldn't have been more disappointed!! I ordered the General Tso's chix w/ an egg roll. 1st problem was it wasn't spicy at all! Zero spice, zero heat.. The chicken was gross and had a strange texture. Also had more breading (soggy) than "chicken". The sauce was bland and sweet instead of spicy.. The egg roll was 90% cabbage and just edible.. This is out Chinese restaurant of choice! We really like the Lo mein, General Tso chicken, and steamed chicken. The Singapore noodles (mei fun (sp ?) are spicy and good. We recently tried the dumplings and enjoyed those too. The take out is always hot and well packaged with lots of soy sauce, duck sauce, mustard, and fortune cookies. Their take-out is absolutely fantastic. They take a while, but not too long to get to your house. I've rarely ever had them go over their time of 45 minutes for delivery. I usually order the lo mein, which is amazing every time, but their fried rice varies from excellent to sub-par. I would suggest getting take out rather than going to the actual place. The noodles don't seem to have the same taste and the chicken is somewhat dry and too chewy. It's also awkwardly quiet, and feels uncomfortable. The service is also very impersonal and rushed. I've never waited an astronomical amount of time for my delivery order and the food is of a quality I expect from any restaurant of this type. read more
