The Masters in this school always make him feel comfortable upon return and do their best to help keep his asthma from stopping him from proceeding with class. Some will even carry his inhaler with them in case he needs it. Sometimes it is very busy and some things may get lost in the shuffle, do not hesitate to ask the staff to repeat or find something out for you. They do not mind. There are a lot of children in this school! Be patient! The best programs have many many happy hardworking students. This is one of them.

Sensei Ed Calla is very experienced dealing with handicapped young people. He is very patient and the students get a good workout and stay interested through the entire class. I recommend it for handicapped people of all ages. Sensei Mary Calla and Vanessa instruct the ninja warrior class. This is a great class for cardio for special needs kids and adults. My son does many exercises with them and develops a good sweat, but they know when to slow him down not to tire him out. Both the school and the warrior program are good places for a handicapped person to experience martial arts training and develop good cardio.

In the event that student wasn't ready for promotion to the next rank,the initial fee will carry over from month to month until the student is ready for the next rank;there is no such thing that you'd have to wait for three months between retesting or have to shell out any additional monies for a retesting date .Diane you also made mention that the school asked you for your socially security number,your salary,and that the school offered coupons and discounts. All of the previously mentioned is bogus,I was never asked for my social security number, or my salary, nor have I ever witness the school offer coupons or discounts;and if so I want then as well . The bottom line is if you can't afford it then go else where. Lady you must obviously be talking abt another karate,because your so far from writing the truth;shame on you.

I did not like that the instructor pretended like my kid wasn't even there- didn't acknowledge or get my child excited to be there or even feel noticed. To me, it's a CHILDRENS class. Children need to be acknowledged so they feel welcome and wanted.
