Came here for dinner with our family and we all loved what we ordered! Chuck, our server, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. He was always one step ahead, offering drink refills before we even had to ask. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the lo mein, sesame chicken, and Kung Pao chicken. I also appreciated that they didn't skimp on the rice portions, which is surprisingly rare and always refreshing to see. Great food, great service, and great value. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area! Kenn and I went to dine in for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and told we can sit down wherever we want. We chose to sit off in a both so we could talk and flirt (court) lol.. The staff was very nice and prompt. We ordered something drink and appetizers first then place our order for lunch. I absolutely love crab cheese ragoons/wontons. They were hot, crispy and great. When I tell you the shrimp lo-mein was on point it was delicious. I love the fact that the noodles didn't takes burnt or over cooked and it was very flavorful as well.. Kenn ordered the spicy combination and he loved it. StTing that the meats were tender. He said it was full of flavor and the spices were not over powering but just right.. We will be back. We did takeout for 8 people. A lot of Chinese food was eaten by teenagers. I asked them how they enjoyed the food. I did not hear anything from them because they were woofing all the food down. It must have been good. LoMein was very good. Pork rolls disappeared quickly. Fried rice could have used more pork. White rice was good. They did not provide the amount of dumplings we ordered. General Tao's chicken quickly disappeared. Plenty of soy sauce and fortune cookies. My fortune cookie said something good was going to happen soon. We shall see. Wow! What a great find! Portions are huge. We got lo mein, orange chicken, egg foo young, steamed dumplings and pad Thai. Everything was absolutely delicious! We showed up just after the lunch menu ended but she let us order from it anyway; being very understanding that we have a baby with us. Not sure what's changed but this was not good. We always stop here on our way to Denver from Santa Fe. The last couple times the orange chicken was crunchy and so good. More of like a chicken you'd get with sweet and sour. This time the chicken, while it was a gigantic portion, was more like mall Chinese. Big, wet, gobbled together pieces of chicken. Not very flavorful at all. Flat. One note. Asked for a couple extra soy sauces "there are two in there" Ok? I'm glad I asked for plastic ware before leaving, because there wasn't any in the bag. Got to the car to eat (we have two dogs) and they gave us no napkins? Thai iced tea was weird. Boba wasn't round, but little rectangle slivers. Weird. If you're going to start being cheap and pinching pennies do yourselves a favor and don't sacrifice service and quality or take it out on your customers. Will skip this stop from now on. read more

I found this place nearby and decided to try it for lunch. They open at 11am on weekdays and are located in a busy shopping area with lots of restaurants and shops. I arrived around 11am, so it was just me and a couple of takeout orders. I quickly got the lunch menu and ordered the drunken noodles, which came with sides. I chose the hot and sour soup and veggie egg roll. The food* came out fast. The soup was hot and had good flavor. The noodles were decent, with a heavy oyster sauce and a bit of spiciness. It's a Thai-style dish, so the Thai basil added a nice touch. The chicken in the noodles was tender and flavorful, but the rice noodles were a bit undercooked, making them slightly hard. We have been going here for years and have always had a good experience. We tend to dine in and the owner is very friendly and positive attitude. Then I spend $84 on 3 entrees and some sides at 420, and request a pick up time for 5:30, I should not show up at 5:30 and have to wait until AFTER 6pm for my food. When I said something to the person who finally gave me my food, she blamed it on me for ordering during a busy time. Absolutely mismanaged, and a poor representation of what good service looks like. Dragon King has been a family favorite for 20+ years. There is now dissatisfaction in the building. Although the prices are high, so is the friendliness. There are awesome flavors in every bite. We always order jasmine tea with crab cheese wontons to start. This is the best place to go for a birthday or nice lunch. They make almost any customizations you want. The waiter, Chuck, is so friendly and quick. He brings us regular refills and is glad to strike up a conversation. My favorite thing to order is the lunch special orange chicken, with steamed rice, egg drop soup, and a spring roll. They have plenty of menu variety and kid's meals. I never wait for a table and it's maybe 7 minutes from the time I order to the time I get my first dish. I really can't say enough about Dragon King. We got Chinese food for Christmas, as it is one of the few restaurants open on that holiday, food tastes fine. Nothing crazy or authentic however I had one friend throw up a few hours later and two other people feel sick, upset stomach and bathroom issues for the whole next day. Mmmmm... Chinese Food! Ok, so I don't eat Chinese food to often but I do get that craving every so often. Luckily after only our first try, this is the go to place for Chinese (been here a couple of times now). Everything is fresh, and the portions are pretty large. The kids love their low mein and I am huge fan of the steamed dumplings. The only downer is that it is a little pricey, but I will have to say for the amount of food you get it is probably fair. We have only ordered take out, but since I have to go there to pick up the dining area is very nice. So it wouldn't be a bad spot for a date night, or night out with family or friends.
