Very disappointed in food and service. There was some food not cooked all the way and don't expect someone to come check on you if you want a refill. Even after commenting about the lack of service and food quality I still would need to pay 50 cents for a to go cup for the refill I waited almost my whole meal on and even then it took 2 of the people in our party to say something for someone to come to the table. Comping a 50 cent cup was the least they could have done to try to help out after the issues. I wished I would have known it was like that because I would've went somewhere else and spent my money. Service is always top notch, they take such good care of my husband and grandson every time they get orders to go. Food has never been less than great. Patiently waiting for them to come back from vacation!! Great family, great people, great food and great service! The food was great but the lighting was more for a date night. During lunch hours they should open the curtains or turn the lights on. Another thing that is odd is the buffet pricing is based on height and not age. So if you have a tall child you will pay full price. Service wasn't all that good. We ordered takeout just before closing -- this place is wonderful! They included a free box with some delicious chicken in addition to our meals (vegetable fried rice, chicken lo mein, and wontons). The wontons were huge compared to most places, and jam packed with well-seasoned crab cheese filling. The person working the register when we picked up our order was friendly and attentive, and our order was ready by the time we got there, and still piping hot. New to the area and should have checked the reviews first. This place is dirty and old. I tried several dishes and they all tasted bad. The buffet is gross and dirty and that is all I could think of when eating their crap food. We ate one bite of each dish we tried and then left and got a sandwich at Wendy's. The food was excellent and so many choices. There was only one dish that they had not replenished that I would have liked to have tried, a baked mussel dish. Lots of seafood and chicken dishes. Since my last update, we did decide to give this place another shot. We did the buffet and it was okay, but the quality was not the best. Some dishes that should not be lukewarm were lukewarm. We only order to-go from them now, and only dishes that are NOT on the buffet. That's about the only way you can guarantee completely fresh food. One to-go order had me adding hot and sour soup and you could taste the lack of freshness in the soup. Simply put, if you order to-go, you'll probably have a decent meal without concern. If you go buffet, you might have a decent meal, but you might be rolling the dice with illness, too. read more

The lady that used to run the place is back. 3-4 years ago she left and I went into a depression of sort because the place went downhill in her absence. We actually stopped eating there because it was very inconsistent. However on a coin toss we ate the buffet last Friday evening and my faith is restored. Although her now high school age daughter wasn't the hostess like she had been in the past, her preschool aged son was very entertaining, cute and brought us our place settings. My girlfriend and I went into this restaurant with Chinese food cravings and an open mind. However, what we got was an upset stomach and an inability to trust Chinese places for a while. First thing's first, the atmosphere and service were complete crap. Both the host and the server that we were unfortunate enough to have looked at us with distain, as if they were thinking 'we're serving more fat Americans?'. We weren't informed that we were paying for dinner until halfway through our meal, when we were under the impression we were paying for lunch because it was 2:30 in the afternoon. So that happened. We finally get to experience the food, and quite frankly, it was unimpressive if I'm very generous. The food was cold, hard, and almost inedible. On top of that, we found a hair in our food and upon complaining to the server, she insisted it was an onion as if we were stupid. Both myself and my girlfriend know what onions look like, and this was definitely a hair. We requested the server eat it to prove her theory, but she would not. And if that weren't enough, both of us had upset stomachs a few hours after eating there, and we didn't even eat that much! I have eaten there since and with my extended family. Food is good and buffet has a much better choice than any other restaurants locally. Service is fine also. Quality of the food is poor. Likely using leftover and old food on the next day. Lunchtime buffet foods served into the evening. Many items spoil after six hours in the wrong conditions resulting in food poisoning. It's cheap. You get what you pay for here for sure. I have ordered from this restaurant several times at a very expensive price and got good results most the time but the buffet was horrible service even worse we were sat by a child our drinks were filled by a child who had just been picking her nose when she sat us the entire family was there eating some kind of noodles which btw were not on the buffet (even they won't eat it) the whole time u heard noodle slurping and arguing from the entire family which btw never stood up to check the buffet which was completely empty several people were standing around waiting for things to be filled everyone was sitting around waiting for the young child to refill there drinks which never happened. it was horrible I promise u I will not return to this place it is possibly the worse $25 I have ever spent in my life honestly I would have been ok with Mcdonalds had I known it was going to be that bad! read more

One star, and that's being nice. We didn't get refills on our water I ended up drinking the kids water. Prices for the kids is based on how tall they are, 9.95 if they are taller than 4.5. Honestly, I have been going to Dragon Kitchen for years now and the food is still pretty dang good. The service is excellent and the employees are very nice. The atmosphere is comfortable and the place has mostly been pretty clean. I will continue to eat at Dragon Kitchen because I love it, and advice everyone to try it out! read more
