After my insurance was no longer taken by the doctor they only gave me 5 days prior to find another physical therapist which was pretty short notice. The young lady was not knowledgeable till what date o was able to be serviced . After no longer being a patient I needed a referral and my plan of care as well as just documentation of how many visits I've had for court and seeing another physical therapist She told me the doctor was on vacation for 2 weeks and I wouldn't be able to get anything needed . I was a bit confused seeing as I told the doctor I needed this days before my insurance was no longer accepted by their place of business. When I was ready for to get my documents after Much fighting I was in extreme pain by the time it was ready for pick up and couldn't move. My finance had to pick up the referral and wasn't able To get it till 2 weeks after . When he arrived the same receptionist that gave me such a hard time only gave him a harder time and the referral I already had which made no sense I needed a referral from them and a plan of care they didn't even follow while I was there and then when my fiancé asked For documentation of the dates I've been seen she said I had to request my medical history. I then called her on the phone to explain again what I needed and she was rude and spoke over me and had a very nasty attitude and I had to yell over her because she was so nasty. Crazy thing is both me and my fiancé would be seen there with no issue except for with this particular receptionist.But however she gave my finance what I needed and continue to tell him I need to learn how to speak to her. She is absolutely atrocious for her manner , behavior and her from of speaking to guests. I honestly loved his place till she became sooooo rude and spoke over me and the last straw was her inappropriate behavior telling my fiancé "I need to learn how to speak to people" I think its your receptionist that needs to learn to not be rude and speak over others or make Comments in that manner especially to my fiancé. I was in for quite the surprise when I went in for my appointment yesterday... After I checked in…read moreat the front desk, I saw a new door where a clear path used to be..... then the further I went...is when I saw the new renovation that took like 4 days to complete (I was told). It's super spacious now and more tables were added, with some spacing in between; so it felt less claustrophobic when they're busy.  It used to fit four tables in a square like space, and now it's a long rectangular space in the back. It now fits more than six tables. They got new furniture and the windows no longer have clutter of exercise equipment; now you get a big and clear view of the Flushing skyline.  Now they just need a bigger fridge for the ice packs...besides more and better sized ice packs for the treatment.  Overall, I loved it lol This was a great upgrade. Covid wise; plexi glass by the receptionist desk. They check your temperature upon arrival and there's hand sanitizer readily available.
