My fiancé and I had a Chinese food and movie night. He ordered the General Tso's chicken combo platter, and I got the Kung Pao chicken. His meal was excellent and he really enjoyed it. My Kung Pao chicken, however, had a slightly bitter taste, and I couldn't finish it. The egg roll and rice were both great. The portions were well-balanced, not overloaded with rice. The lo mein noodles were also very good, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. There's no dine-in option, but pickup was quick and the area was well-lit. It's a cash-only spot, but they have an ATM inside if you need it. Overall, it's a solid takeout choice. Every restaurant has one dish that misses the mark, and here it's the Kung Pao chicken, so keep that in mind. read more

Casual take out Chinese with poor parking and a storefront that shows its time. Food preparation was quick. Food is fresh and delicious. My order is general tso chicken. As show in the attached photos, the chicken fills up the side of the container and is not layered over rice like some places do to cut costs. The portion is generous and I'm sure they just barely closed the lid. The chicken is cooked perfectly, lightly battered, fried to a crispy exterior and moist interior, I'm guessing dark meat which I prefer anyway. The sauce is tasty in this americanized version. The broccoli is fresh and healthy and steamed perfectly. The fried rice is excellent with pork, bean sprouts, green onions, and yellow onions. This rice was cooked expertly with wok hei, which is char, giving the rice a undertone of smoke. I'd pair this rice against that of upscale restaurants. Pork in the rice is abundant. Exerything in this order was fresh and cooked perfectly. My one negative is that general tso is supposed to have szechaun peppers and have heat, but this was sweet which is on par for most americanized Chinese eateries in the tri state area. As a visitor, I'm saddened I don't live closer to here as I would visit frequently. I do cook Chinese cuisine at home and can appreciate the technique and flavor in this order. Overall, excellent! Edit. This is now my third time coming here. The quality is consistently excellent. As I enjoy my lunch again I can taste that the oil use is fresh and clean. Chinese has been my favorite cuisine since I was a child. For americanize szechuan, this is the BEST takeout I've had. I live in ny and come to this area twice a year for work. I look forward to coming here exclusively every trip. Last year I was disappointed to learn they were closed on the day I came (monday). If I lived local, I'd be a regular for sure! read more

The absolute worst service. They do not take orders properly on the phone. I picked up my order and walked home in the pouring rain only to find out half of the order was missing and the other half was wrong. I called them and told them to deliver the rest because I was not walking all the way back there in the rain and they refused to do so. I walked back reluctantly and the missing items was STILL WRONG. Never again and to top it off the food was mediocre at best. I cannot believe these people are in business. Pros: Their rice is one of the best Chinese food rice I've had. Which is honestly why they earned 3 stars. The prices are fair. Cons: Parking is horrible. So be prepared to either park around the corner or if you're lucky you might be able to grab one of the few spots in front of the store. One of my pet peeves is when people don't clean their shrimps so I can't order anything with shrimp from here. Not only are the shrimps not cleaned, but they only put 1-2 inside of the shrimp rolls. I've also heard they were stingy with their spicy red pepper flake sauce. Their chicken wings are kind of scrawny and dry. Despite these comments this place is very popular and busy on the weekends. I will be visiting here in the future, but avoiding anything with shrimp. I'm not sure if they offer delivery because I've always done pick up. So good. I hate Chinese food. I never get it. But last night I was craving some general tso's and fried rice so I browsed a few places before ultimately deciding on this place. My food was ready in 15 mins. I paid less than $10 for a combo meal that included an egg roll. I was very pleased with my meal. I was full but kept eating it was so good. Definitely hit the spot! Some of the best Chinese food I've had in Jersey! I ordered Chicken Egg Foo Young combination, a quart of wonton soup, Shrimp Toast appetizer and a pint of Roast Pork lo Mein. I've never seen Egg foo young served with gravy directly on it but it was DELICIOUS! Came with an egg roll - crispy and tasty! Egg roll was small, but tasted good. Ribs had no sauce on them and were a bit dry- strange cuts too. I'd skip those. Dumplings had too much wrapper and the meat inside wasn't well spiced. The dipping sauce came in a thimble, and was also not great. Overall, appetizers were disappointing. Good news is, the main dishes were pretty good. The pork lo mein was excellent- maybe some of the best I've had. General tsaos pieces were small, so lots of crunch and good sauce. worst!!!!!! worst!!!! worst!!!!!! do not ever go or order your food from here. i ordered veg fried rice and steamed broccoli. both were full of ants and dead insects. i realized after eating some of it. when went back with complaint and with the container that has food to show it to them, they made very good story saying that they bought broccoli from indian grocery store. they blamed grocery store for bad broccoli, as if they have no responsibility to buy a fresh or even wash the vegetables. i want to give negative stars but can't. please be aware!!!!!! i am at jfk hospital with stomachache and vomiting. read more
