I was hungry and was nearby the area. I didnt want any chain restaurants or sandwiches. I've been in a support local places and I love fried chicken so this place got my vote. I wanted to test this place and I failed! I ordered a large plain fried rice but with 3 eggs and an order of fried wings. The smart girl charged me 75 cents for each egg. I'm okay, everything still cost under $15. Fried rice was greasy but its rice boiled in oil. Can't complain like other reviewers, Plenty of parking the lot. I'd come to test them again :)

3.5 stars. My daughter wanted Chinese tonight. I've lived in this town for 20 years and have never tried this spot. The town's social media group gave this place rave reviews and was voted #1 out of about 8 other Chinese food places. I placed an order for General Tso's shrimp, shrimp chow mein, House Lo Mein and a shrimp egg roll. Everything came to $35. They do not deliver at all. The lot had plenty of parking and I'm thankful because this 5 points lot can get pretty busy throughout the day. 8:00 at night though and the lot was pretty empty. I got home and realized they didn't give me my shrimp egg roll. I was frustrated to say the least but I called and was grateful to receive an apology and she asked me if I wanted to come back and get the egg roll. I politely declined. This place is 15 minutes away from where I live and I didn't feel like going back out. I told her I would probably order next weekend and would pick up my egg roll at that time. The food was really good. The shrimp in the General Tso's was huge and the shrimp in each dish I ordered tasted fresh. Delicious. I think the prices are much higher then your average Chinese spot but you get what you pay for. I still kinda wish it was a bit more cost-efficient. Food - 4 stars (the taste and freshness were on point. Portion size could be slightly better) Service- 3.5 stars (for messing up my order but glad they were kind and willing to fix it) Prices - 3.5 stars Location - 4 stars (good area with ample parking)

Basic Chinese takeout menu. Their food portions are large BUT a little oily and greasy. Salt level is ok. Ask for less oil. Location is near Route 22 and Garden State; easy off & easy on.

Good takeout Chinese. Excellent Egg Foo Yueng and beef lo mein. Got recommendation from AI and was happy with the suggestion.

The food was not like it used to be. My wife ordered sesame chicken that was like tough chicken jerky......terrible. Don't do it!

Never going back. Food made me ill. Fried rice was dry. Never had beef (?) wonton soup, which was oily. Szechuan chicken was not spicy.

Do not eat at this restaurant. Here 's my warning…read more This place is having a major identity crisis. They are in the process of merging restaurants so we received several menus but were told that not all items were there and that there are some repeats and that all the prices were going to be different. Next, within a minute of sitting down, the waitress very seriously yelled at a young child we had with us about using chopsticks. This kid knows how to use chopsticks and uses them at home. She was excited to see them and be able to use them at a restaurant. The waitress then belittled us for allowing that. She was an extremely nasty person and ruined the entire experience. We resisted the urge to walk out and now have regrets about it. She felt awkward about how we received her criticism, so she pet the child's head and called her a pretty girl. The place is decorated with Christmas presents and bells (it's May). I wish that was the most insulting thing. We were the only ones in the restaurant the entire time. (That should have been our first sign). If you didn't want people to eat there, just close the inside and do just take out. As soon as we were sat she asked what we wanted and wouldn't leave until we asked her to. She came back with drinks a minute later and wouldn't leave again so we ordered a couple appetizers just to buy more time in deciding our dinner. She continued to belittle us and made eating incredibly awkward. We received our entree before we were done eating the appetizer, so I guess she wanted us to leave as much as we wanted to leave. The sushi was surprisingly good. Which is why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. I just felt so uncomfortable eating here that I didn't enjoy much of it at all.

Qsina 8 in Union, NJ, is an acclaimed Filipino-Asian fusion restaurant. Diners and costumers like…read moreme praise the authentic homestyle dishes, standout flavors, generous portions, and exceptionally very friendly and warm service, though some of my companions note a plain ambiance and higher price points ( for me their pleasing food quality and taste outweighs the price ). The Chicken Sisig, Palabok, pork BBQ and sizzling Biko with ice cream are a must-try from the food menu. The appetizers, like the piping hot vegetable lumpia and their humongous portion of Halo-halo as dessert are highly recommended by me and other reviewers. When we dined at this place, the whole staff gave me a feeling as if I was eating at an aunt's house, with the owner and staff providing very welcoming, family-style care. I have been living in NY for more than 30 years, have already eaten in so many low and high-end Filipino restaurants, in terms of food quality and taste, I may say this by far is the best that I have experienced. If given the chance to be in New Jersey again, I will definitely, 100% be back to this place for their delicious and flavorful food. Some of my companions point out that the seating area is relatively small, which can lead to limited availability during peak times, and a few note the interior decor is fairly plain but it did not matter to me because the food that I ordered/tried were great and amazing (properly spiced, cooked very well and soooooooo delicious!! ). Food portions are generous, presentation was appetizing and excellent, staff service was attentive and great ( I noticed that our water glasses were always filled up which is a service very consistent in so many high-priced restaurants that I have been ). Table setting is good, food utensils and plates were very clean ( yes, I checked it! ). I am extremely satisfied with my food experience and the hospitality of the owner and their staff in this Filipino restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!!!

Service wasn't that great and we were the only customers there at the time then other guest staggered in . I'm all for restaurants thriving and always wish them luck but holy cow prices are crazy average appetizers are $16.50 or more and entree dishes are $25 or more for serving sizes and flavors are really lacking in a lot of dishes . Lechon was cut thinner not the usual big chunks and the oil tasted old and was greasy . Sinigang with the Baboy was very underwhelming the Baboy wasn't boiled down enough . The sisig has too much of a soy sauce taste and way too much mayo on top . The chicharron bulaklak was okay could have used a bit more seasoning and seemed to be a popular item that day . The BBQ stick was decent but not for $18 . Being Filipino myself I know everyone has their own way of making certain dishes so people may like it but in my opinion I've had better at a few other spots . Wishing them all the best .
