I usually try to not write negative reviews. In fact, I try really hard to offer compliments whenever possible and resolve negative directly with the restaurant. That being said, I have tried and it has not worked. A few months back, I believe 3, we ordered food. We specifically ordered online so we could order a specific spicy level. We ordered 2 level and asked for no chili peppers/dry chili peppers. When we got the food home it was so hot we couldn't eat it. I tried to email through the contact page but never got a response. Two months later we were sitting at a place close by so we decided to give it another shot...this was in September. Our food was fantastic. Delicious, hot, and exactly what we would expect for a 2 out of 5 spicy level. Forward one month...we decided to order again based on our last experience. In fact, I ordered on the app and just re-ordered from our September order. We got the food home and much to our disappointment, both meals were so spicy we could not eat them. That night, I again sent a message through their contact page on the website. No response. The next day I called the restaurant and was told I needed to talk with a manager, but no one was available. I tried one more time and again, no one was available. This is so disappointing as well love good Chinese food and based on September's experience this is great. The inconsistency is so frustrating and the lack of response is worse. Disappointed to say the least. read more

there is a lot of things wrong with this establishment we ordered boba ragoons orange chicken and garlic chicken the ragoons had no meat in them it was only cream cheese filling and we received two order of orange chicken all the food was not great over sauced and the textures were off the straw for the boba wasn't even big enough for the boba there was flies pestering us as we tried to eat the meal overall it was not a great experience read more

Favorites here include: peanut butter chicken, Mongolian beef, the egg drop soup & the braised pork. As others have mentioned, food is always hot & fresh. We really like Dragon Wok. We have only ordered takeout (probably 6 times in the last 3 months) & the food is never ready at the stated time. It is always an additional 30+ wait. The online ordering system automatically defaults the time to at least 1 hr out, so it is frustrating to arrive on time & then wait longer. It defeats the purpose of takeout - not sitting in a restaurant - when you have to stand inside waiting for so long. read more

Dragon Wok is a wonderful Chinese addition to the neighborhood. The other closest Chinese joint is Golden Palace and it's been kinda meh for me lately. I decided to order it Togo today for lunch (you can actually have it delivered too!) Their food is reasonably priced and it includes rice and choice of side. I went with the Hot Braised Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. Overall the food quality is good and the flavor was delicious. The interior of the place is nice and clean, much nicer than Golden Palace which is starting to show its age. I definitely recommend trying this place, and we will definitely be back! read more

Order the combination fried rice sub asparagus, broccoli and mushroom and you're night, if not your life, will be made. Beyond good. We order out routinely and have never had a bad experience. You set your time ordering online and they're prompt with everything being hot or you call in to order and they're able to give you a time to pick up everything without having to wait more than 60 seconds if at all. From their rice dishes, to the peanut butter chicken, then to the egg rolls and hot and sour soup. You won't be disappointed. They know Chinese food and they do it phenomenally. Best Chinese in west Omaha, not that there is much to choose from. Good food, really enjoy the shrimp and asparagus.

This is a prime example why businesses end up going out of business. I place my $28 order and want lots of soy sauce and I am told they can only give me 5. With 3 people eating this meal I guess we should just fight to see who gets 1 packet. When I get to the restaurant the owners sister tells me what you are going to do drink it and we aren't a grocery store. When a customer is willing to spend $28 in your restaurant driving past at least 4 other Chinese restaurants to get to yours I would think you would be happy to take care of them and give them what they asked for. I even told her to charge me a extra $5 for it. So let's do some simple math my average order is around $15, and I usually will order every couple of weeks. So, let's say I spent at least $300 a year in your resturant. You not only lost my future business tonight but the business my other 2 friends and I'm sure they will tell people they know and guess what you just lost alot of future business because of a few extra packets of some cheap soy sauce. There is one good thing about Chinese food. There are alot of restaurants out there and it all pretty much tastes the same. read more

Decided to give Dragon Wok another try. This time I got the peanut butter chicken. It was exactly how I like my peanut butter chicken! My husband got the general tso's again. I really liked the crab rangoons! I used the online order website and got it delivered. They were running behind and gave me a call to let me know which I really appreciate! They weren't longer than 15 minutes past the time they were supposed to be here. I'm really glad that we decided to try it again. Definitely will be going back! We started to try new places for take out Tuesday. We got peanut butter chicken, (AMAZING) General Taos Chicken ( delicious) Dagon wings ( honestly we were so full we only took 1 bite but they were good!) and crab Rangoon (delightful!) So I had to try this after my mom raved about it! I ordered take out and she picked it up! It was ready on time and exact what we ordered. Once we got it home it was delicious! I ordered the orange chicken and my mom had the chicken fried rice. The portions are huge and the pricing is excellent! I haven't eaten inside, but my mom said it was very clean and wonderful service. She is extremely particular, so I'm going to take her word for it! Szechuan off dodge and 114 is more authentic and really good food with good portions of food and for a better price. Dragon wok is a joke. One of my favorite Chinese places! Yes, they have a long wait time for to-go orders and deliveries, keep this in mind and expect at least an hour wait. There food is always hot and fresh, no matter if picked up or delivered. I love their fried rice. Almond chicken is also my favorite. They put a ton of almonds on top, so good. I always have to order extra crab rangoon's, they're delish. This place is affordable and they serve huge portions. Now keep in mind...if I want "really good" Chinese I'll head over to Hiro, Butterfish, or otherwise, but strictly for takeout/casual Chinese Dragon Wok is the real deal. We live off Pacific street and hardly ever make it to Fort street so in the rare chance we were in this area, I decided to have our family give it a try. The prices are extremely reasonable for individual and family sizing ($8-11 range mostly) and the portions are quite generous. In fact, our family of 5, two adults and 3 young kids, ordered about $41 worth of food and it was TWO dinners worth of eating. We got a family sesame chicken, single sesame, and family walnut shrimp PLUS a hot and sour soup and an order of chicken wings. Yes, all this for $41 and stretched over for two dinners. It's not healthy by any stretch, but the flavor was delicious and my kids even thought it was better than Five Spice (our other go-to takeout Chinese place). I think they definitely rival in flavor and value. We all went to bed stuff, feeling kinda gross (the way tons of fried foods will do), yet oddly content for having found this gem of a place. Only negative is the location for us and that it's REALLY busy and slow for takeout because of it's popularity. Will definitely return! read more

LOVE this place. It's honestly a hidden gem for Chinese food in Omaha. I especially appreciate how tender the beef is they have. Some Chinese restaurants use a lower grade of beef and you are constantly chewing on the piece like jerky. The hot n sour soup is excellent, vegetables are fresh, and they have an easy order online option I use all the time. My coworkers and I rave about this place. Try it out! Stopped in for lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is excellent with a good variety sumptuous dishes and I intend to try many of them. The add on items are priced reasonably and are diverse. One thing that really was a big draw for me was that none of the dishes included dark meat. Normally most Chinese restaurants serve dark meat in several dishes that would normally order, if it had white meat instead. I loved my Kung Pao Chicken, which had a nice kick. They also offer plain Lo Mein as a side along with fried or white rice. Not being a big rice fan, the Lo Mein was a great addition. We also marveled at the taste and presentation of their Vegetable Egg Fu Yung because there was plenty of veggies, no scrimping. My only problem is that I wish they had one closer to where I live. read more

This was my first time at Dragon Wok. I know several people that really like it. I was very pleased. The restaurant was very clean and had plenty of room between tables. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The prices were lower than expected. Dishes other than seafood were less than $10. I ordered firecracker chicken. It was both sweet and spicy my daughter ordered garlic chicken and my son ordered chicken lo mein. The portion sizes were good. We also ordered a bowl of egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. Both were excellent. It was the best egg drop soup i have had in Omaha. The cost was $35 with a generous tip. We definitely will go back. read more
