Pretty great drive-thru Chinese spot! I've been coming here for years and the hot pepper pork/chicken are hands-down the best. Their crab rangoons and egg rolls are always a must too. I'm not sure if they changed management recently, but I've noticed the portions aren't quite as big and the food doesn't come as saucy as it used to, which is a little disappointing. That said, the drive-thru is super quick, the service is usually excellent, and it's still one of my go-to places when I'm craving Chinese. read more

James and his crew are the BEST! Hot and sour soup is the best I have had all around. My favorites are Combo Fried Rice with extra egg and onion, Pork Chow Mein, and the Broccoli Beef/ Sweet and Sour Chicken combo. Healthy portion of both meat and vegetables. My partner and I tried this via Door Dash, and we were both disappointed. Everything was edible, but it was mostly bland. My chicken lo mein was incredibly watery, and I was really bothered that they used plain old spaghetti noodles, instead of Chinese egg noodles. Egg noodles in lo mein was the main thing I wanted, and expected, from a Chinese restaurant. So I ended up picking out the ingredients, throwing away the pasta, and just adding it to my own frozen package stir-fry. Wasn't happy to have to cook my own meal after ordering out. My partner said his rangoons "tasted of sadness," and I had to agree. It was nearly flavorless, and the sauce container they provided was teeny-tiny. Same for the orange chicken, it was just mediocre Something I'd expect out of a grocery store cafeteria. If nothing else, the rice was okay. And the menu was very inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. If you aren't expecting much, and don't have a lot of money, you might have a better time with Dragon 88 than I did. read more

So for a tiny bare bones Chinese joint this isn't too bad. Simple menu. Friendly people. Fast and reliably tasty. The egg rolls are fresh and nothing is too greasy which I appreciate. Holy Heavens what a hidden gem! Amazing Chinese Food! I went in with only what I had read online. The staff were extremely friendly and grateful. The facility was very well kept and clean! Truly fast food. Went in for a takeout order during lunch. Specials are posted on a board beside the cash register. Cashier is friendly and takes the order and yells it back to the kitchen staff who are "flying"'. Got the Chicken Lo Mien with eggroll. What I actually got was combination lo mein, but no complaints from me. The food (rice, lo mein and eggroll) are decent, but nothing to go out of your way to get. Inside of the restaurant is small, only 7-8 tables, fairly austere but it is clean. Very busy drive through service as well. Prices are reasonable. read more

Tried the shrimp fried rice,not the best but worth the $7.25 cost. BF says they have great Generals Chicken here as well. Good choice if your in the neighborhood. read more

It's hard to find an orange chicken that impresses me but Dragon 88 has the most perfect orange chicken, not too sweet, crisp everytime with just the right amount of sauce. Wow! What a hidden gem!! I was very skeptical because of the location, it's somewhat hidden, but not hard to find. The gentle man behind the counter was very polite and helpful. I ask a lot of questions when ordering food, and he was very kind explaining their dishes. I ordered a chicken fried rice and a sweet & sour chicken, both of them are excellent. Hands down, one of the best, if not the best Chinese food in Omaha. I haven't had lots of Chinese outside of Omaha...but it fits my taste buds just fine. The food is consistently hot and fresh. Never greasy or overcooked. I usually order General Chicken, with added broccoli and steamed rice. The chicken fried rice is my daughters' favorite. The vegetable fried rice is BOMB too! The crab Rangoon is also always fresh and is the perfect combination of cream cheese, green onions, seasonings, and crab. Portions are generous! I have been here several times now for lunch thanks to my uncle. I have ordered things not on the menu and have been accommodated. I cant eat much in one shot so they are more than willing to put everything in a to go container. We ask for extra sauce on the side and are always obliged. They are happy to please and you can tell in everything they do. I know its not an astounding review but i'm just happy to eat at a clean place who actually wants to serve the public. read more

I decided to try something new (to me) so I ordered the combo fried rice instead of mongolian beef. The food was still very hot, fresh. But the meat hunks were so small and the rice had no flavor. Eat here about once a week for lunch. Usually have three specials per day. Favorite is cashew beef and ask them to make it spicy. Good Crab ragoons. Staff has always treated me and my coworkers good. Have not had a bad meal here. Only had one time when they were not open during week day but they had no power to cook! read more

I really appreciate Dragon 88 -the staff is extremely customer oriented and have a very helpful attitude. Drive-thru service is great! I've tried a few things -here are my opinions -Crab Rangoons -AWESOME and they use Real Crab meat! Eggrolls -AWESOME -they don't taste 'weird' like some Chinese places. The chicken wings - eh - not my favorite they're crispy just -bland. Hot and Sour soup - Not Good - love these folks -but the Hot and Sour needs WORK - it's just not good -shocking really. But I'm not mad -they have the BEST Sweet and Sour Pork in Omaha - that I've tried thus far I haven't had PF Changs - but I've had practically everyone else's and these guys can throw Down Sweet and Sour pork! I like the Cashew Beef -Spicy - it's yummy and I like their Kung Pao chicken mostly but that could use a little work too - it's tasty enough but it needs more colorful veggies -if it looked more exciting it would truly be more exciting. My son adores the Pepper Steak and he's picky -so that's all I know about it -I haven't tried it myself. Appreciate all the other reviews on here -and whoever posted a pic of the Drive-Thru menu! I ordered chicken and broccoli. The diced small chicken pieces and the watery sauce poured over it had no flavor. It was like eating bland food. I was so disappointed I just dump it in the trash can. Then I decided to call and let them no how bad it tasted. They never apologized and told me I need to return the food for a refund. Here I spend $9 for a lunch special that was horrible.
