Chris L., our Project Manager inspected the roof and provided a VERY thorough analysis, complete with pictures and video. He then developed an estimate with several options. We opted for the 40 year workmanship warranty, and learned that the GAF shingles manufacture's warranty is good for 50 years. Roof Masters communication's and presentation was impressive and detailed. We were informed of what materials and methods would be involved in the process of reroofing our house, and kept advised of changes and milestones before, during and after the 4 day job. Brianna our case administrator made the electronic document, invoice and payment transactions simple, fast and efficient. Looking at the galleries of before and after photos, we are pleased and thankful for the complete roof work accomplished by Chris L. and his Foreman Mr. Santos. Our son was in the area and confirmed it was well executed.

Since scheduling happened so quickly, we did not have much time to choose a roofing color, and they took the extra time to personally drop off physical samples so we could see them in person before making a final decision. With the last rain fall…read morea few weeks ago, I had a leak of spraying water entering my bedroom and stains appearing on the ceiling. I got out the invoice from Roof King and contacted them to fix this, under warranty. They strung me along for a couple weeks, not returning calls, etc, telling me they wouldn't honor the 12 year warrantee because I didn't "transfer the warrantee" 2 years ago when I purchased the home. I did some research and found out that in California, contractors have to fix their poor workmanship for up to 4 years, regardless of a warranty. I kindly pointed this out to them and gave them a week to respond, before reporting them to the CA licensing bureau. I got a call a couple days later saying "we will be out today between 1-3pm to fix your leak". While I'm glad they fixed the leak (which I cannot confirm since it hasn't rained yet) I think any reputable business would have fixed a leak 2 years after a roof was completely replaced. I would not recommend this roofer at all. If my roof ends up still leaking, I'm getting it replaced by someone else and not messing with this company anymore.

They did not communicate that this was a possibility or advise to move the car out when they worked in that area. There was never a project manager on site to communicate about details of the job or answer questions; presumably one of the workers was a supervisor but they never interacted with us. When starting the job, they did not confirm the start date so I called mid-morning when no one showed up; the excuse was a possibility of rain, but no one let me know they weren't coming. When the shingles were delivered, a truck just showed up without warning at a time when no one from their company was present to accept delivery. When done, the exhaust pipe for the range hood had received a lot of debris that fell into the fan and made noise; it was a lot of trouble to get that cleared out. But then later, we discovered that in the process they had moved the exhaust pipe for our gas furnace so it was a foot away from where it belonged, not connected, not possible to be connected; the furnace was now pumping exhaust into the attic and leaking it into the house.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Nick and his team. He responded to our "leaking roof into garage" call promptly, thoroughly evaluate the issue and developed a great plan to fix. Of course our leak was during the very rainy season of Q1 2024 so Nick was already extremely busy with other projects. That said, he put together a plan and an estimate and found a way to work us into the schedule without impacting other projects. The repair was done wonderfully and all new roofing tiles were placed in locations not seen from the road, as to limit the impact of new tiles next to older / faded roofing tiles. Nick and team replaced the plywood where needed and added all new underlayment. In addition, based upon the great initial progress on the roof we ended up adding to the project to repair all the other broken roof tiles and his team helped clean out all of the blocked water run-off areas from years of leaves and branches blowing onto the roof (from santa ana winds). I highly recommend Nick, Omar, and team and will definitely use them again - if needed. Thank you Dragon Roofing! So glad it's no longer raining... inside my garage. read more

Dragon's Roofing did a real super job on our home. I don't usually post reviews because I am busy with rl stuff. However I was really impressed with their attention to detail and particularly how clean and competent they are. The owner supervised everything from start to finish even though the crew was totally capable of soloing the tasks on their own. At the end of each day they cleaned up left and minimal trace of the work. Dragon's Roofing removed our old existing shingle and gravel tar layers. They replaced all new plywood with quality under lay materials and new shingles. They replaced the wood planks and eves as needed. The gravel was really messy but these guys spent an entire day just cleaning everything, I mean everything. They pointed out a bunch of stuff I didn't know and did right by replacing and repairing. They were quick and steady workers. You can tell they take pride in their work. All the crew was busy and kept to their selves yet always had smiles for my family and I. Reasonable costs and way worth hiring them, I will recommend this company. read more

We have tried 2 or 3 other roofing companies over the last 25 years. The challenge has always been that there are arched metal structures on the roof to frame the arched windows below. Needless to say, getting metal arches and roof tiles to "play nice together" is a challenge and previous roofers never really provided a complete repair. Long story short, the last repairs were done by Nick at Dragon's Roofing. He is a pleasure to work with. He inspected our entire roof, finding a couple of other areas that had been mishandled previously and provided a written quote, which included the critical repairs and delta costs for some maintenance areas. He showed up on time, completed all the repairs on time and on budget. In addition he provided pictures of the in process work which was an unexpected bonus. Nick and his crew took care of replacing broken tiles and securing all of the loose tiles on our roof. The also checked and cleaned all of the flashing around the skylight, chimney and valley to make sure it was in good shape, We had a facia board, rafter tails and starter row wood that had some dry rot as well. Nick and his crew removed a couple rows of tile replaced the wood that was damaged and put new underlayment and reinstalled the tiles. He even told us if we had the paint he would be happy to paint the new wood for us which was great. He advised us that our skylight had a couple of cracks and showed us the pictures. Dragon roofing was recommended to me by my contractor. I received a letter from my insurance company stating I needed to power wash my roof. I called Dragon roofing and talked to Nick about power washing the roof and told him that the work needed to be completed within two weeks to comply with the insurance company requirements. Nick made the time to fit me into his schedule and his crew did a fantastic job. Not only was the roof power washed but when they left the job site three days later everything was cleaned and things were put away. I had a foof that was consisted of gravel and tar that was fifty years old. It was leaking every time it rained. I got a recommendation from a fiend of mine who at one time had the same type of problem. Nick Mondragon, owner operator of Dragon's Roofing 760-208-0228. I called Nick, he came the same day and gave me a quote which was of my liking. They took off all of the old gravel, tar and plywood and took it away. Ultimately decided on a different contractor for this one small job, but it was a very close decision. Not based on price either, of the 3 bids I received, Dragons was very competitive. I called upon Roofing Specialists (Robert), to address what appeared to be a noticeable drip down the side of my home just below the eave. It appeared to be something small and wanted to confirm this, so I turned to the pros to check this out. What appeared to be small was actually a bigger problem that was only discovered by Robert after a close examination. Cracked roof tiles allowed rainwater to drip underneath and damaged some of the wood. This, along with flashing around the chimney caused intrusions that needed repair. Everything identified was backed by actual photographs showing what was needed. After receiving the quote, work was scheduled shortly thereafter and his team arrived on time which was completed in half of a day. Throughout the repair, I receive photographs showing the problems, the work that was underway during and after it was completed. They were conscious of leaving the yard around the work area cleaned from any debris and upon completion, you could not detect anyone performed work on the roof. This company is top notch and I recommend anyone seeking their services to retain them for issues, large or small. No high-pressure efforts to do more than is needed, but will give you a good assessment of things to consider to avoid issues in the future. They are the real deal!
