The finished roof looks great as far as we can tell, and the work appears clean and well done. One thing we especially appreciated was the responsiveness from the office team. Since scheduling happened so quickly, we did not have much time to choose a roofing color, and they took the extra time to personally drop off physical samples so we could see them in person before making a final decision. We recently had Cowboy Roofing replace our concrete tile roof, and our experience from start to finish was excellent. We obtained several estimates before choosing Cowboy Roofing, and we are very happy with our decision. Mark G took the time to answer all of our questions and never pressured us into making a decision. Throughout the project, communication was excellent, and they kept us updated with progress photos during every stage of the job. Once the old roof was removed, they discovered significant wood damage that could not have been seen beforehand. They documented everything with photos, explained exactly what needed to be replaced, and provided a detailed change order before any additional work was performed. We appreciated their honesty and transparency. The crew replaced the damaged fascia, rafters, sheathing, shiplap, and bird blocks where needed. Had a full tear-off of old roof and installation of designer asphalt shingles. Cowboy's hunted down inventory of a specific shingle I wanted (and was HOA approved), when other companies gave up. I really had high hopes for this company, good reviews, good conversations with the staff. Cowboy's was contracted to fix my roof from several leaks caused by (a major solar company you can get through Costco). Unfortunately, the first bid they wrote did not include the replacement of insulation that had been damaged from leaks. When I called and told them this the person blamed it on a "new" person and it would get fixed and resent. They fixed the bid and I talked with the coordinator about the insulation and where it would be installed during the reroofing just to make sure everything was correct. I talked to the Construction Superintendent: Lance, while he was standing in my driveway about the job and the insulation. The crew came out and did a fine job reroofing and left. A little damage to my rain gutters, but they came back and repaired that. Before they came back I stuck my head into the attic guess what wasn't touched??? The INSULATION. They didn't remove or replace any of it. I had to get on the phone and have them reschedule to get the job finished. When the crew showed up, they tore off the new roof and replaced the insulation, BUT they didn't come prepared to haul off the 18 bags of old insulation. So, the pile of trash sat in my driveway for 4 days. read more

Yesterday morning at 9 a.m. Ryan and Walter that are these 2 employees who work for Cowboy's Roofing and Construction Company knocked at my front door. I opened up my door and asked Ryan and Walter , how can I help them? Ryan and Walter said they are here at my mom's house to repair and to replace all of the Red Brick Roofing Tiles on the whole Roof. I also talked to David this manager of Cowboy's Roofing and Construction Company later this afternoon at 5 p. m. David said there is a (10 years warranty) on this Roofing Replacement Service on my mother's house roof. And there is also a (30 year warranty) for the Tarmack it looks like roofing special paper that goes underneath these Red Roofing Tiles This Tarmack is frequently used to protect the Roof from having these heavy rain coming into the house. There has been really bad weather conditions with these (heavy rain storms in (January, February, and even March of 2023). Ryan also said to me that it's going to take approximately (2 days) to replace my mom's whole Roof because this Roof is really huge and it's a labor intensive Roofing Construction job. Ryan and Walter both of these guys were very professional and really polite to me but both of these men spoke very little English and mostly were speaking to me in the Spanish language. Then I told Walter that I know the (Spanish language) and I can speak Spanish but I haven't spoken Spanish in a long time because my primary language is English. Walter looked at me then he started laughing. Then both Ryan and Walter smiled at me and said No Habla English Senorita only Spanish. I told Walter it looks like we have a communication issue. Then I laughed and I told Walter and Ryan who are both Spanish speakers that I am going to call their office right now and talk to Samantha whose their Secretary and she speaks the English language really good and she also can speak the Spanish language really well so she can communicate with me and also relay my conversation back to them in their language. Samantha was very helpful and really knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable speaking to her. I asked Samantha , What is the process of how these Red Brick Roofing Tiles will be replaced on my mom's House entire roof? Samantha said first all of these older Red Brick Roofing Tiles will be removed along with this Tarmack Paper it's a special type of thicker paper that is used underneath these Red Brick Roofing Tiles that are nailed into the entire roof using longer length nails and using a hammer. This is a really difficult process and a very labor intensive construction Job. Samantha told me there will be 3 Spanish Roofers who will be working on the roof yesterday at 10 a.m. up until almost 8:00 p.m That's a total work of 10 hours these hard working people were working on my mom's entire Roof. I watched (Ryan, Walter, and Alex) who started the process in removing all of these Red Brick Roofing Tiles and they have also removed all of this old Tarmack Thicker Roofing Paper that protects the whole roof from the Rain coming into the house during these Rainy weather conditions. Cowboy's Roofing and Construction Company has done an amazing work on my mom's whole roof in the Roofing Replacement Service. Their employees deserve a lot of recognition for their hard work they did for these past (2 days) from (Wednesday, April 12. 2023 and on Thursday, April 13, 2023). I went in the attic after the first significant rain storm following our reroof. I could not find any leaks, including around penetrations such as vents. That's the whole point of getting a new roof, and they delivered. One minor issue: They were slow to respond to some questions we had about their initial proposed contract, and they didn't install all of the O'Hagin vents that were specified, even though I called the situation out while the shingles were still being installed. They sent someone out after shingling was complete to add the missing vents, so they did live up to the contract. We found Cowboys crews to be quick, efficient and polite. They did a great job of cleaning up the job site, even hauling off unused materials. Their price wasn't cheap, but it also wasn't the most expensive. And, they didn't try to nickel and dime us for every little thing or underbid and try to make up the ticket with change orders. WeI'd use them again. read more

This past July we had our roof replaced by Cowboy Roofing. The job came out beautiful, but, we noticed a few weeks later this sort of brownish sealant dripping off our roof onto our driveway/foundation around the house, it was like a oil based stain dripping off, it literally stained our cement once it dried. I called the company and asked what that was, and they said it's a coating on the shingles and will normally dissipate once it rains. The last few short rain's we had did help with the sealer, but now, the roof still drips, like if our roof is sweating, no other roof in the neighborhood does that, or I haven't seen that on neighbors who have had a new roof installed. Is that normal? It's almost like our roof is waterproof, where the water or dew slides off. Anyway, it you've had your roof recently replaced by this company and you are having the same issue, let me know what you did to resolve, or if that is even an issue or something I need to worry about. read more

Had a roof leak over an area about 100sq ft because of the recent heavy rains. Reached out to several places including Cowboy's and they were fast in getting back to me. Leak happened on a Thursday, they came out on Friday and had a crew fixing the roof on Saturday. Foreman was Roberto and he had a helper. The crew did a torch down roll on the part of the roof in question because of the low pitch of the roof. They came back on Sunday for a couple of hours to finish off the work. Roof and surrounding area were reasonably clean. Leak was fixed and we tested it because of several days of heavy rains right after they finished. Ten year warranty, as I understand. Danny was the manager who gave me the quote and he came out on Saturday to check on progress as well. I was happy with the responsiveness and quality of work. Small example: they could have gone with a 2in flashing around the edges but did three inches just to be sure. Thank you for your excellent work and service! read more

This review is for David and his company, Cowboy's Roofing. I discovered some blistering paint underneath the eaves of our home. Our contractor looked at the issue and said that this was definitely a roofing problem and referred us to David. I brought in two other roofing companies as well, and the other two gave me a bid to do the roof repair. David was the only roofer to correctly identify that the problem with the roof was a bad installation from the solar company that we had used close to 10 years prior. Instead of giving me a bid to do the repair, he advised I follow up with the solar company to have it corrected under warranty. He was absolutely right! The solar company was so overwhelmed with work that they directed us to choose the roofer we wished to use, and they would cover the cost. Recognizing David's integrity, we chose to go with Cowboy's Roofing. The team took care of everything, including negotiating with the solar company to make sure everything would be covered by warranty. Since the new section of roof was installed by Cowboy's Roofing, we have had a very heavy rain, and it held up perfectly. I'm so thankful to David and his team that we were able to get this very expensive problem taken care of at no cost to us. Our house needed a new roof in preparation for adding solar panels. We have a complicated and steep roof. Cowboy's Roofing did a great job. They cleared the old roof in one day and did an excellent job adding the replacement roof.
