The plumbers told me it was not a minor issue but they promised they would at least put some WD-40 on the decades-old joints to make them easier to remove. They couldn't promise anything. I had a doctor's appointment and left my door unlocked. When I returned a couple of hours later, I could tell they had been in my apartment. I was expecting that they had applied the WD-40.
