Bartender was incredibly rude and unrelated to that spilled a bunch of mixer on me and my party. I will not go back.

I was looking for some place different to meet a friend on a Saturday afternoon. Dram and Draught was a good pick. Looked comfortable and fun inside. We've been here a few times. One of the better cocktail bars in the triangle. Friendly staff, excellent mixed drinks, great liquor selection, decent wine and beer selection. Probably should be a five star place, but giving it four to encourage them to add a few more selections to the list of nibbles. It's currently just two kinds of peanuts, which aren't stellar. This review is purely based on customer service. I stopped here on a Trolley Pub with a group of 12 or so. One of the guys wanted to do vegas bombs, I have no clue what that is, but the bartender was very pretentious and told the guy that it wasn't "that type" of bar. So I asked why he couldn't make them and he said he didn't have the ingredients to make it. Okay fine did he offer an alternative? no. did he ask what kind of shot/drink we were looking for? no. Both of the bartenders just stood there being judgy. To help move things along I asked them what they could make that was good/popular. The douche-ist bartender responded "we do this for a living everything we make is good". I mean how over-confident can you be? I told him a lot of people make a living doing mediocre things so that isn't necessarily an indicator of quality. Needless to say we didn't get drinks we left this elitist hipster bar as quickly as possible. read more

Visited this place serval times before. Even had a chance to meet the owner. Very nice and friendly guy, however this weekend's visit was extremely DISAPPOINTING to say the least. Our bar tender was a young woman who didn't seem too interested in serving my two friends and I. I've never had a server come towards me, as my back was towards her at the table I was sitting in, and slide the drink towards me across the table, and just walk away. When I turned around she was gone, I barely was able to get a "umm..thank you?" in. One of my friends went up to the bar to ask for a drink only to have her walk past him twice. We ordered two old fashioned which were only served half way through the glass. I would give this a one star if it wasn't because I had met the owner before, he was not there when this happened. read more

They specialize in whiskey but have a lot of beer and cocktail options too. Found some great sour beers that can be hard to find. Wish they had food trucks more often! read more

Was in town for a few days visiting family and asked where I might be able to find a good penicillin so my cousins took me here to Dram and Draught. From the pictures and Yelp reviews, along with the suggestion of family I said why not. There is a small private lot right in front of the place and more parking in the rear. The set up is pretty cool. There is bar seating, tables with tall stools and outside seating as well. The bar is stocked with all kinds of rum, whiskey, scotch, you name it. When I asked the bartender if she knew how to make a penicillin she said yes so I was stoked. When I received the drink it definitely looked like it, it smelled like it...it was a penicillin!! After about 4 of those I was feeling pretty good! My cousins ordered other drinks off the menu that were quite good as well. There were also a wide array of beers on tap. The next time I'm in Raleigh I'm definitely stopping by here for a drink! read more

Plentiful bourbon and interesting drink options but why so loud? Too loud to easily talk. An odd vibe for a bourbon bar. They were nice and closed the giant window/door, but on a night that was 46 degrees, I wonder why it was open. read more

Had a great time visiting this week, from enjoying drinks off their menu to just ordering at simple T&T, sitting in on the patio with our dog and meeting great people in Raleigh. I would be here just about everyday if I lived in Raleigh. Great staff, great drinks and a Char-Grill across the street. Cant wait to get back to hang out again. read more

Visiting Raleigh. Been to many other American cities and many cocktail and whiskey bars. This one has a fantastic but not overwhelming selection and the specialty cocktails are delicious. First stop next time I come into Raleigh. The Birds and the Bees was so delicious. read more

Holy cannoli, the cocktails here were so damn good. The manhattan was AMAZING - I don't know if they put angel tears in it or what. I also had a house cocktail, the Hale or High Water - a gin and strawberry concoction that awesome. The old fashioned and gin martini we had were also solid, though the martini was a bit over-shaken. I've only been here once, so I don't know how consistent they are, but our experience was great. read more

Meh. Good selection of cocktails, beer and whiskey - the drinks were normal. For the same price, I'd probably rather go to Foundation or somewhere else downtown. There was a mix-up when we were paying and some of us got charged for the wrong drinks. Overall an alright place but nothing special that would bring me back again on my own. read more

I love this place! The bartenders know how to make a delicious, quality drink. They have a rotating seasonal cocktail menu, which means there's always something new to try. The wall of liquor is really interesting to look at. It's a small, intimate place. It's definitely not the place you go to to get super wasted and dance, but it's still a good time. The times I've went, there was the same man working the front door, and he is so awesome! He is so happy and kind and gets your evening started on a bright note. read more

Just moved back into town after a few years, saw this business that was new to me. I came in around 11:30 on a (slower) Saturday, the older bartender seemed ticked off right away. I got a drink, and was taking my time on it. Fast forward about 30-45 minutes and the bartender is flinging ice from dirty glasses at the back bar. This was pretty alarming, but I stuck around for another 30 or so minutes. A guy spilled a drink at the bar and the same guy threw the glassware from the drink, smashing it on the ground. We have been to Dram and Draught twice now and have loved it both times. Really great atmosphere, drinks, and great bartenders. We went on a Friday night most recently and they also had a food truck outside. We will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend for a good cocktail or craft beer. read more

The atmosphere is perfect. Very much a raleigh style bar and the Manhattan is by far the best I've had in the city!
