A favorite program is the Summer Parks Program that runs June-August. Fun filled activities that include arts and crafts, games and storytelling. My kids had the chance to attend last year, and they loved it! Sandy City has many programs all year long. The pool area has a sort of water running path for people to walk against a strong current. There are 2 lap lanes. The locker rooms are clean. There's no shampoo/conditioner in the showers. They don't offer large towel service either. Just small face towels for sweat. Lots of classes (step, aerobics, etc) for everyone. Kids activities for those parents who want to work out. To get kicked out because one of my kids is faster than the other and I'm supposed to stay next to both? The lady with accent in charge of the lifeguards was SOOOO RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I'm here visiting with my family and came to bring my kids to go swim, I have been there for an…read morehour already with my 2 year old son so scared of the water and then finally opened up and he was having fun and then all of a sudden, one of the girl lifeguard seen this and came up to us and said he needed to have 3 layers on. We are an Asian American family and I felt like we were being targeted because there were a bunch of other "non minority" kids playing football and running into people but none of them had said a word. She just had her eyes on us the whole time. He already has a swim pants on and then I said that she seen us enter and we were sitting down in front of her face the entire time why she didn't say anything when we first got in. she was there and seen us but didn't say anything until my son started to have fun. I didn't like the experience so we left. She was a blonde girl between 5'6 - 5'7 monitoring the kiddie pool around 1:15pm 12/30/24 The prices are affordable and the place seem really decent enough I'm just not happy with the worker that told us right when I finally got my son to open up. It took a long time to show him the water was ok. He is non verbal so to see him smiling and having fun then being told he can't wear that already an hour in, hurts.

Not very long ago, open play was $10/day and it cost $40/month for a basic membership . Now, the daily rate is $30 and the monthly memberships start at $99. This is a 3x and 2.5x price increase. I was utterly shocked when I returned to find these prices. No matter how nice the facility is, I'd rather play in the cold outside, or a gym floor at a rec center for $6/day
