    Splash pad area

My family met my brother's family there Friday night around 4 pm. We parked right by the pickle ball courts and were able to get a front row spot. We walked past the pavilion and playground down to the splash pad. My oldest just wanted to play on the big playground while my 18 month olds wanted to play in the splash pad. It wasn't too crowed surprisingly. There isn't much shade so a lot of people brought pop up shade tents. We were able to put our stuff against the rock wall between the playground and splash pad. It's nice that the big slides are covered so they aren't too hot to go down. I wish there was more shade though. Fun park for all ages.

THIS. PARK. IS. SO. COOL. It's the bees knees. I found it after I accidentally missed the redwood road exit on bangerter and had to take a roundabout way back to redwood through Bluffdale, and miraculously, past this park. I sneaked a peak as we drove by and couldn't stop thinking about it! We went to explore the very next day. The best attraction is the giant slides / they're like 3 stories tall. There's three of them and they're all awesome. There's a whole bunch of rocks to climb around and both big and little kid toys. It's all very modern and unique. There are walking trails all around the perimeter and pretty scenery. The parking lot is good size, too. The splash pad just opened today so we just barely missed it, but it is humugous! I can't wait to go back when it's open and let the kids run around in the water. There are all sorts of rocks and nets and waterfalls and stuff. Good job Bluffdale!

Mother of all Splash Pads. This place is on par with a theme park in terms of amenities, cleanliness, equipment, atmosphere etc. It's hard to believe that it's free to enjoy. There is a large area various kinds of water features including a water fall, jumping water, squirting water etc. They break up the space nicely with fake rocks and climbing walls. They also have a gigantic play tower that reminds one of a watchtower. It's three stories high, and is completely contained / safe except the final set of stairs to the top which are very steep and toddlers could have trouble with. Long, winding slides carry kids and adults alike to the bottom at respectably thrilling speeds. Surrounding this tower are various pieces of new and innovative equipment like swings, spinning towers, nets, walls and so on. Everything has been reimagined slightly and is a fun change of pace from traditional equipment. There is also a dedicated toddler play area with pint-sized surfaces to climb and explore. A pair of ziplines sits to one side, with a raised leaping area and maybe 10 feet of vertical descent over 100 feet of length). They also have lots of new tennis and basketball courts a bit further away. People tend to come with coolers, umbrellas, canopies, blankets etc. and make a whole day of it. As such, the nicest spots of lawn tend to fill up fast as big families sprawl out. Come early for the best spots. Dogs are not allowed.

My son LOVES this park. It has just about everything that a family needs to keep occupied for an entire day. Splash pad, zip lines, slides, jungle gym, teeter-totter things, other things that kids love to play on that are difficult to describe. On holidays it can be quite busy, but there is PLENTY of space for families to bring a pop-up canopy and a grill and make a day of it. My only issue is that nobody pays attention to or enforces the "No animals" in the splash pad area. Every time I've been here people have their dogs splashing around in the water with them.

Best thing if all is it's FREE!!! Great place for the family to com and bring food & drinks. Pets seem to be welcome. Very clean and tons of things to do! Play grounds, slides, splash pad, running streams and much more. Great summer hot spot!

One of our FAVORITE parks! In the summer the water is on and there's a huge splash pad next to the park.

Awesome splash pad. I wish I had something like this to go to when I was a kid. Lots of parking, but pavilions, and splash pad is huge.

It's in a beautiful location, higher up on the hill and provides you with some breathtaking views. We love how well kept the courts are and it doesn't seem to be as busy as some of the other ones in the valley (cough cough steer clear of the courts in Murray). Plenty of parking, plenty of open grass to run and play in, and it's right off Bangerter Highway--if you keep driving the windy road, you'll end up in Highland/Lehi area and that's beautiful too. I haven't seen any drinking fountains near the courts, but that's not to say they're not near the pavilions or park equipment--but I'd rather be safe than sorry and pack some extra water bottles. All in all, one of my new favorite areas. I can't wait to pack a picnic and return again soon! TIPS & TRICKS: * Lots of shade and benches, but you still don't want to forget sunscreen. * Because of the location, it's much more windy than normal, so be prepared to run a little harder!

I've heard lots of people talk about this park, especially in the winter when it's all lit up with Christmas lights, and it wasn't until this year that I finally made it out there. The playground looked fun-although I didn't go try it myself. I figured that the parents of the kids playing might not appreciate some rando adult joining in with everyone. But if you have youngsters, or are one yourself, you'll find merriment and joy here. The trees were all lit up beautifully and the star of the show, of course, was mesmerizing. It might not be a multi-hour tour, but it's worth a visit. And it's free, so there's that!
