It's well worth the $60/day fee with full hookups. The campsite also has clean fire pits, picnic tables, and a water spout. It's dog friendly and other campers are good about keeping their dogs on a leash. There's a boat ramp and a nice walkway to the "beach." There's a few picnic tables that I saw people enjoying their lunch at. It's fairly quiet and during the day since everyone seems to be on the water. Everyone respects quiet time at 10pm so it was a pleasant experience!

There are lots of pavilions and plenty of bathrooms. I've come here a few times over the years for the 4th of July, and even though it's probably one of the busiest days here, there's always plenty of room on the beach for everyone. The parking lot here is another story. They have extremely limited parking in their main lot, and then some over flow parking across the street. If you're coming on a holiday weekend or probably just a weekend in general, it's important to get here early. We had part of our group get there around 9am and they got one of the last spots in the main spot. We got there around 10:15am and were able to park in the overflow across the street, but once that's full you CANNOT park on the road, you'll get towed or ticketed, as we witnessed happen to many people on the 4th. A little ways up the road there is a pull off to park in, however you have to walk along the highway to get back to the state park. We've done it before, and it's not ideal. There's a gorgeous hike here to Chair Rock - I found a trail guide for the hike from Girl on a Hike's blog and it's a steep but VERY rewarding hike. When I did it a few years ago, no one else was there, and the views are absolutely stunning.

You can park and access the Jordan River for fishing floating, kayaking or canoeing. The boat ramp is run down so if you're looking to launch a small boat or other watercraft I'd suggest going just on the other side of Pony Express. Theres some neat secrets here too. Even as…read moreadults, it's still appealing, so there's no surprise to me that I found about 15 adults soaking in the natural hot spring, or puddle of mud, found at Inlet Park. As I understand, the hot springs are on private property, but the owner is ok with people visiting as long as they are respectful of the land and get out at 10pm. You park in the parking lot and then walk a few minutes through the trees until you get to the hot springs. There are some areas that are hotter than others and when you find the "hot spots" it's fun to sink your feet and legs into the pit. It's as close to quicksand than I've ever experienced.

We arrived at 10:30am Sunday to a line wrapped around the parking lot. Line luckily moved quickly and there was plenty of parking. Inside we found seating right away, but note that the best shady seating gets swooped up fast. The water park is SUPER small but the kids will have a blast. I was a really bummed by the lazy river and the small amount of rafts they offer. I counted a dozen rafts available to patrons. That's definitely not enough for the amount of people entering. One thing I was disappointed by, is that rules specifically state no outside food, coolers or drinks other than bottled water are allowed in, yet many had food & drinks not offered for sale including personal water carriers such as Stanley's. The rules also state no personal flotation devices unless they are translucent but yet there were many tubes that were colored and used in the lazy river so they don't enforce their own rules. Food was tolerable, expensive and took forever to get. Also, know that wash ticket you bit only allows you access to the 3.5 hours in the morning 10:30-2:00 or 2:30-6:00. While we found 3.5 hours was sufficient, I also felt like an extra hour would have made it more beneficial to the cost.

In 2023, I won 2 free tickets on the radio, but I was a single mom to a toddler at the time and there was no way I could get us there. I'm so sad they went to waste! (I still have one in my wallet for some reason.. maybe a souvenir? Haha.) Anywho, flashforward to summer 2026, and we finally got to experience the water park. Holy. Cow. We had SO much fun! I couldn't ride a lot of the water slides for some health reasons, but I am so impressed. My 6 year old even went up on the largest slides! We had a blast. I loved hanging out in the lazy river, and getting dumped on by the giant buckets! I wish I had taken more photos, but I was really in the moment! What a fun water park! I cannot wait until we can come back!

This took about 2 hours and it was SO worth it. They even have a little too swing at your final destination. The only thing we didn't like was 1/4 of the way in, you have to get off your tube, it's for safety reasons so we get it. It was still so much fun. My friends and I are going to go at least two more times before fall starts! If you're on the fence, DO IT!

Came here early in the morning for a bird watching walk. It was a gorgeous place to be able to see…read morethe sunrise through the trees and the Mountain View while also having a very easy to walk path alongside water that was paved and wide. In terms of wildlife, they had a small pond at the parking area, which had tons of ducks and I'm pretty sure I also saw a pica which was a first for me. It looked like they also had bathrooms as well as a seating area. I was surprised at how clean everything was and maintained the paved trail was. I definitely recommend coming here for a walk or a run as I felt very safe even by myself at 6am For my birders: There's a pretty good number of species out there, including lesser gold, finches, black Chin, hummingbird, Rufous hummingbird, and others (see photos for an August visit)

It's a good place to hop on, and you can go north or south as the trail will take you back under Winchester Street when you park on the north side. But actually, it's more than just a parking lot launching off point. They actually have a small park here, with a rentable pavilion, restrooms, a small playground, tables, BBQs, and as you're close to the Jordan River, you can launch a canoe here, too. There's not a ton of grass, but enough for the kids to run around. However, you should be aware that there's a small diversion of the river to a pond/flow sort of situation in the midst of the park so you won't want to let the kiddos wander too far from where you can keep an eye on them. Once you get too far from Winchester, the trees get a little more sparse, but there's good shade coverage here for those hot summer days. For me, though, it's most enjoyable in the shoulder months when the foliage is turning or in the spring when you just have to get out and take a long walk.
